Hmm! What a party this turned to be, The party is great but I wasn’t feeling it, the downsize of this party is that the ones I hold most dear in my heart aren’t here.

Ebinoluwa stayed at back at her grandmother’s house and Riley on the other hand was no where to be found, I was thinking I’d have a good time with my family members but everyone was too busy doing their own thing.

Though I was amongst my family members, I felt like a total stranger and the worst thing about the party was everyone was showing off their magic ?.

Seeing all this didn’t make me feel comfortable at all, I wanted to leave the party but I couldn’t do so ; not without Riley, If only he was here, I could have taken us home so that we could do something instead.

While I was stuck to myself, My Aunt Constance showed up and sat right next to me.. I was surprised when I saw her, it’s been a very, very, very, long time since I last saw her.

Constance ➡ Christen!!! My sweet little niece..

Christen ➡ Greetings Aunty.. It’s been a long time.

Constance ➡ Indeed it has.. My goodness, look at you.. You look just like your mother, it’s a shame she isn’t here to see her body double.

Christen ➡ Thanks.. So what brings you here?

Constance ➡ I came to check out what’s going on with the world.. Seems like I’ve missed a lot.. I also heard a lot of things about you.. You married a human and also gave birth to a hybrid.. I’m surprised that the council didn’t take any measures.

Christen ➡ So when are you going back?

.

Constance ➡ Oh, I’ll be here for some time.. There are quite a few things that have caught my attention… Like you husband for instance, he’s quite charming.

Christen ➡ So you’ve met my husband?

Constance ➡ Yes.. I saw him with your father but now they both gone.

.

Christen ➡ Did they tell you where they were going?

Constance ➡ No.. They didn’t.. Let’s talk about important matters.. How good is your husband in bed?

Christen ➡ He’s good… Why are you asking me all this?

Constance ➡ For Research.. So you two make love all the time?

Christen ➡ Sorry Aunty but I love my husband and I’m content with him. I don’t need someone else, if you’ll excuse me, I need to get some air.

After I said that, I walked away from Aunt Constance, I was disgusted by what she said, I couldn’t believe she suggested on me to cheat on Riley.. How utterly revolting.

Aunt Constance is my mother’s sister, She’s an enchantment witch, she uses enchantment to control and make people do her bidding, Bimpe is like her but the only difference is, she uses seduction and temptation.

Aunt Constance doesn’t stay in one place for long, she moves from one place to another doing whatever she pleases and it’s because of that her marriage didn’t last long but the main reason why her marriage crumbled was because of her adulterous ways. She sleeps with any charming male she sees, once she’s done with them, she looks for another new male.

After I left the party, I came outside teleported myself on the roof and sat there, I felt relieved as I felt the cool breeze on my skin, It’s a shame the place wasn’t quiet, it would have been better like that, Moments later, I laid on the roof trying to get some shut eye but before that could happen, Riley and my father appeared right next to me.

Riley ➡ Jesus! Christen.

Christen ➡ Riley!

ELi ➡ What are you doing on the roof?

Christen ➡ The party was boring.. So I came to the roof to have some time to myself.

ELi ➡ Okay.. I’ll leave you kids alone.

After my father was gone, Riley laid down next to me holding my hand, we were silent for a while before we started talking.

Riley ➡ Hmm? ?

Christen ➡ What!? ?

Riley ➡ You look lovely.

.

Christen ➡ Whatever.. You left without letting me know. ?

Riley ➡ Sorry now.. Besides if it weren’t for your father, Your Nympho Aunt would have pinned me down somewhere f-cking the life out of me.

Christen ➡ Aunt Constance tried to sleep with you?

Riley ➡ She was precise and direct about it.. You never told me your mother has a sister.

Christen ➡ I did.. Back when we first met.. You just weren’t paying attention. Grandma Wuroala had 3 kids, First it was Aunt Titi, Constance and lastly my mother.

Riley ➡ Wow.. So where’s Aunt Titi?

Christen ➡ I don’t know.. I’ve never seen her. But I’ve heard stories about her.. Her magic is similar with Aunt Jezebel which is Absorption magic but there’s a difference, Aunt Jezebel absorbed magic and uses it as an attack but Titi absorbed magic as an energy to boost herself in strength, magic, speed, and other things.

Riley ➡ Wow! You witches are amazing. But none is as amazing as you.

Christen ➡ Thanks love.. So where did my father take you?

Riley ➡ The dark forest.. He gave a weapon to guard and protect myself from danger.

Christen ➡ Okays. What’s this weapon that he gave you?

Riley ➡ Let me show you.

Riley sat up and brought out a glove from his pocket, He inserted it in his right hand and flashed it in my face..

Riley ➡ Here it is.. Beautiful isn’t it?

Christen ➡ Is this the weapon?? What does it do?

.

Riley ➡ Let’s go somewhere with less people. I’ll show you what it does.

.

After that, I grabbed Riley and teleported us both to the Sahara desert ?, This was the perfect place to try out whatever it is my father gave him.

It was already dark as we appeared at the desert and the sand by this time had cooled off. Riley was stunned as he saw where we were.

Riley ➡ Holy Christ!? Is this the Sahara desert?

.

Christen ➡ Yes.. At least you don’t need to worry about hurting anyone.. Okay show me the weapon my father gave you.

Riley ➡ Okay.. Stay back.

.

I did as Riley said, He stood silently for some seconds and then took a deep breath, In that moment, I saw a Gun appear in his hand, It was a hunting rifle used for hunting deer ? and antelopes.

Christen ➡ Does the glove summon weapons?

.

Riley ➡ Yes.. Isn’t it fantastic?

.

Christen ➡ It is but I don’t see how this is going to protect you from super natural beings like me.

.

Riley ➡ Just wait and see the power of this weapon .. This isn’t just a normal gun.

.

Christen ➡ Alright then, fire away.

.

Riley adjusted his stance and took his aim at the open space of the desert, I watched him from a safe distance waiting to see power of the weapon. Riley stood for a while but then he dropped the gun and shook his head.

Christen ➡ What’s wrong?

.

Riley ➡ This is a bad idea.. Your father warned me not use a gun. It’s not safe.

.

Christen ➡ Come on.. Just fire.

.

Riley ➡ I can’t.. It’s too risky.

.

Christen ➡ Honestly.. I’m disappointed.. You just got my hope high for nothing.

.

Riley ➡ I’m telling you it’s dangerous.

.

Christen ➡ Whatever! I don’t care.. If you won’t show me then don’t even talk to me.

.

Riley got a little bit annoyed by what I said, Right in that moment, he took the rifle and fired it.
