Immediately I turned I gave the person unpercut, he starts groaning, I runned for my dear life, not looking we’re am going I fell into a swam

I started struggling zealously to get out of the swamp alive. I was still struggling when I remembered that struggling will makes me sink faster.

I tried to lean my back on the swamp surface to depreciate the rate to which I’m sinking, but it seems like the swamp wasn’t ordinary because I kept on sinking faster.

Hot sweat of death cold death started emitting out of me. Fear of death has enveloped all my body. Since I came into this cemetery, I experienced happy mood only once, when I saw the money in the grave. All the rest of event happening were closely related to three things, death, death and death

The swamp swallowed my feet, my legs, my waist, my chest and my shoulders. The only remaining part of my body outside is my head and my two arms which were just five inches taller than my head.

The swamp has now swallowed up my mouth. I know that I’m going to die in this spiritual swamp anytime from now. I started breathing hot airs as the swamp absorbed my entire mouth remaining only my nose, eyes and two arms above the swamp.

I kept on sinking until I breathe my last, the swampy mud entered my nose then forcefully closed both my eyes. I raise up my hand as if I’m expecting a help.

I was just 10 seconds away from embracing the warm weather of death when I felt the touch of a stick on my hand followed by a voice. ” Grab the stick, grab it quickly” was what I heard.

Without wasting time, I grabbed it immediately and held my hand tightly on the stick like someone holding ticket to heaven.

The unknown helper started dragging me out of the swamp with all his effort. He placed me on the ground immediately he pulled me out.

I couldn’t see him clearly cos of the mud on my face, the mud obstructed my sight.

“Please can you get me water to clean my face, the mud is irritating me” I explained to him”.

The man didn’t even reply by talking or gesturing, he just stood up and just headed to an unknown direction to get water.

I was still waiting for him to come back when the reality that I’m still in the cemetery struck me really hard. I whispered silently where I sat and the deadly narration of the thief that came earlier flash on my mind again.

I was still lost in thought when I heard a sound of approaching feet coming towards me. “It’s the person that helped out of the swamp earlier” I muttered to myself without showing any traces of fear.

Normally, I don’t expect anyone to be in the cemetery in that middle of the night except I and some imaginary ghost, “But the person that helped me out when I was about to die does not have the intention to kill me” was the resolution I settled with, I didn’t remember the part narrated by those that came earlier that “they prefer torturing their prey than killing them”.

“Take, this is the water” the unknown helper tried to implore me to collect the water from him.

Without hesitating, I collected the water from him to wash my face.

When I dipped my hand into the water, water I felt was unimaginable, I knew instantly that the water is not of this world.

I rubbed the water on my face to rinse the dirt away.

I spent two minutes to wash the thick mud off my face and place the water on floor. I tried to dry my face with my cloth but on touching it, I realised that I just came out of a swamp so certainly the cloth will be the dirtiest cloth on earth at that moment.

Then I looked up to ask the person to lend a cloth to use, but what I saw sent a hot trill down my body.

Standing before me was the same man that buried himself earlier, the man that I had wronged earlier by giving a hard uppercut because I wanted to escape, now I’m standing before him and was waiting to see the next thing he will do.
