As Olamilekan got to the dining table, he opened the foods set on the table but instead of eating from Clara’s food, he started eating the food prepared by his own mother. He was already eating when Clara walked in after brushing her teeth. She thought Olamilekan would be waiting for her to come so that they could eat the food she had prepared together but she was surprised seeing him eating from mama’s food and not hers.

“What is the meaning of this, Olamilekan” Clara shouted

“That?” Olamilekan asked her

“I already prepare your food, why are you now eating mama’s own” she protested.

But as she was talking, mama walked inside.

“Are you saying, am not good at cooking or what is your question” Mama asked her.

“He should be eating my food mama” Clara said to her.

“Oh, tell me where that was written” She asked her looking as if she wants to swallow her.

“Let me tell you and listen well for your own good, I am the first wife of my son and whatever’ I tell him to do, he must do, he has blno voice of his own, so let that get into your head” she said to her.

“But mama, am now his wife” Clara said to her.

“Says who, I don’t recognise you as a wife, where is the wife in you” Mama Labake said to her.

“But mama” Clara said looking at her in the eye.

“If you dare look at me again in the eye, I will show you where you belong” Mama said to her.
