JAVIER’S POV❤️

I smirked lightly seeing the glum look on her face when she realized that I’m Arobyn’s assassin…

At the age of 15 my father took me to his close Friend Lord Arobyn who owns the famous league of assassins…

I never liked Lord Arobyn cause he was dirty,selfish and conceited bastard who doesn’t care about anyone but himself..

Dad sent me to him all because I lost a fight in school and that served as a punishment..

I climbed steep hills..

Crawled through mud patches..

Got burned…

Flogged..

Beaten..

A lot of unforgivable things were done to me by Arobyn but it was just to make me stronger…

The steep hills became child’s play to me…

The burns became bites to my body and i was never kicked again..

Arobyn trained me like his own son and at the age of 17 i began doing his dirty deed by killing his enemies…

It couldn’t dare to defy him even though every human I killed for him made me think less of myself as a person…

‘Do you know how to make a fire??’..Elena asked and I shook my head..

‘Okay I need an igneous rock.Two actually’..She said as she dusted her hands on her clothes and stood..

I watched as she picked two shiny rocks and couple of dry wood and leaves…

She clanked the two rocks against each other continuously creating a spark and I just smiled watching her suffer..

For some minutes she kept doing it and when it was hopeless she sat on the floor and screamed out in frustration..

‘I have a matchbox’..I murmured and she sprang up..

‘You had a match box all this time?!! You’re a jerk!!’..She said aloud and yanked it away from my hands…

I glanced over at the boar and when I saw the maggots coming in and out of it shivers ran down my spine…

‘Uhhh i don’t think we should eat that boar’..I blurted out loudly..

‘Yuck!! Maggots!!’..she replied and seeing the disgusted look on her face I chuckled softly…

Her black hair shone as she grew the fire and that’s when I realized something…

‘You’re beautiful’..I said my thoughts aloud and she shot a look at me..

‘I’m what now?’..

‘I wasn’t talking to you’..I quickly corrected and evaded her gaze as quickly as possible…

What is wrong with me anyway??…

I’ve never been attracted to a woman in this manner before??….

‘Jeez even though there’s a fire i feel kinda cold’..She murmured..

‘Here take my cloak’..I offered and as our brushed I felt a tingling sensation in my loins…

‘Thank…thank you’..She muttered and we both watched as the fire between us die down…

‘i think we should go to sleep,spread the cloak down on the floor and let’s sleep by the crack of dawn we’re leaving this place’..I said..

She nodded and spread the cloak on the sandy ground…

‘Go on,sleep’..i urged and she arched her brows…

‘won’t you sleep?? There’s enough space for the both of us??’..She asked…

‘Since when did you start caring about me Elena??Since when I just want to know’…I snarled..

‘And since when did you start caring about me also??’..she fired back and I frowned…

‘I don’t care about you Elena I just don’t want you to die!! It’s my duty as your king to protect…

‘Ughhh here you go again with the kingship talk cut it out dude you’re such a tight ass sometimes’..She said aloud…

Me??..

Tight ass??..

‘I’m not tight ass I’m matured.It’s something you’d never understand’..I taunted and she scoffed..

‘Matured?? You call yourself matured?? Gimme a break I’m off to sleep’..

QUEEN ARIEL’S POV❤️

‘You can’t tell me you can’t find them?!!! You can’t tell me that you can’t find your king!!! What chief of guard are you?!’…I Yelled at Mark,the new chief guard who Javier assigned..

‘I’m sorry but we’re doing the best we can your highness,we have guards scouting the wood perimeters’..He replied bowing low and leaving before I could scream at him…

‘Calla what are you doing here??’..i asked with a frown on my face…

‘Ohhh Queen mother I’m here to help out with Queen Elena’s duties since she coolval stories hasn’t been found yet’…She replied and i frowned..

‘Look Calla I don’t know the kind of friendship you have with my son but i want you to stay away from him…He’s a married man now and you’ve got to stay away got that?!! He’s married and I don’t want to see you in this castle else you’re gonna have to answer to me!!’..I yelled and she nodded…

‘Okay your highness I won’t come here again’…She murmured and walked away…

ELENA’S POV❤️

I opened my eyes thinking i would see the normal beautiful architecture of my ceiling but no —Instead all I saw was the mud dripping a bit from the cave walls…

I turned around and saw Javier sleeping soundly not even caring about the dirt on the floor..

My hands hovered over his lips but I quickly withdrew it when he opened his eyes..

What is it with this man that i can’t resist??..

‘I spotted a lake earlier I’m going to have a bath’..I murmured and stood up..

‘Be very quick with it’..he replied rubbing his eyes and i smiled a little…

‘You look a little bit flustered this morning,are you sure you’re okay??’…I asked and he frowned…

‘Are you going to keep standing there or go swim in your lake??’..

‘Okay I’m going’..I said and went outside the cave..

Funny enough i just don’t know why but I like this cave a little bit…

It’s almost like I don’t want to go…

‘Elena here you forgot this’..Javier said giving me his cloak…

‘Isn’t this yours?? Why are you giving it to me??’..i asked and he sighed deeply…

‘I don’t want another man seeing you naked okay??’..He said and hearing those words kinda sent chills down my spine..

What is wrong with me??..

‘Uhmmm..d..do you want to..do you want to swim with me in the Lake?’..i blurted out loudly and in an instant i covered my mouth with my hands…

Aww our dear Elena wants to swim with our dear Javier and Javier doesn’t want to have anyone see her naked…

Do you guys want them to remain longer in the woods and was Queen Ariel too harsh to Calla??..
