I always loved my husband with the bottom of my heart, he loved me too but everything changed suddenly.

My name Irene Bernard, my husband gave me everything I wanted in life but a little secret changed all the love he had for me to hatred. His name is Emma Bernard.

We had a very happy home but we had no child to keep the home complete and has expected my mother in-law always threatened me about bringing another wife for my husband but my husband always had fate in my me.

One day, my husband and I were watching our favourite tv show as my mother in-law walked in with a young lady.

Good morning ma, I said looking at her happily. Stop there, I don’t need your greetings, where is my grandchild, my mother in-law said angrily. Mom please, my husband said defending me.

Emma please stop, stop defending her, it has been five years since you got married to this barren, my mother in-law replied. Mom please stop, she is not a barren, my husband replied.

So what is she then, since five years, no child, nothing, anyways I have brought this girl, she is from the village and her name is ifeoma, you are going to get married to her, my mother in-law said.

Mum please take this girl away, it is not funny anymore, my husband said. Funny?, Did I tell you that I was acting film before, my mother in-law replied.

Mum please, we will settle this later, I will come to the village tomorrow, just take this girl away, my husband said pleading. I will give you children, just take this your barren wife away, ifeoma replied.
