Henry after the dream he had and the discussion he had with Abigail, it was obvious to him something was wrong. He to the conclusion that they might have been living with spirits, because he was so convinced Sonia and Henry must have died during their journey. He decided to keep a close watch on Sonia and Steve anytime he comes around.

When he got home, he decided to speak with Sonia and find out things for himself in his own way. When he got home, Sonia was in her room sleeping, his mum and dad were in the sitting room having a good time together.

“Good evening dad, good evening mum”. Henry greeted. “Good evening son, how are you?”. Asked his dad. “I’m fine dad”. He responded. “Henry, your good is in the microwave”. His mom said. “Okay mum, thank you”. He answered as he walked to Sonia’s room.

He met her sleeping when he quietly opened the door, so he decided to go to his room and come back when she wakes up.

Sonia was facing the other side of the room, backing the entrance door and would not have known whom it was that opened the door if she hadn’t turned. But in her deep sleep she called.

“Come in Henry, I know you want us to talk”. Henry turned around surprised, to see her still backing the door and seemed deeply asleep.

“How did you know it was me? You were sleeping and backing the door”. Henry asked in astonishment.

“I saw you coming”. She responded.

“You saw me coming, how?”. Asked Henry, still astonished.

“Come in and sit big brother, you worry too much”. Sonia said sitting up on the bed.

“How are you?”. Henry asked.

“I’m fine big brother, I know you are still surprised how I knew it was you at the door”. Sonia said smiling.

“Honestly I am”. He affirmed.

“You don’t have to, I saw you in my dreams. I saw you coming to my room. And when I noticed the door opening, I knew you would be the one”. She said still smiling. “How far have you gone with the sharing of invitation cards to your friends?”. She asked him.

“Gone really far, as a matter of fact, my friends will storm the wedding in grand style, you guys will know that I have friends that make things happen”. Henry assured Sonia who withdrew the smiles on her face and wore a non-cheerful face. “Your countenance just changed, you ought to be happy over what I said. My friends and I are planning something big for that day”. He reassured her.

“You won’t understand the change of my mood brother, but you will understand why on the day of our wedding”. She said.

Henry, flashing back to the dream he had and what she told him in the dream wasn’t surprised. Rather he kept assuring her of his unflinching support during the wedding.

“Don’t worry baby sister, you will have the best of wedding. Your wedding to Steve is going to be the talk of the town, Trust me.

Henry after speaking with her, tried to tap her at the back, but she declined.

“Sonia, this is the second or third time you are refusing me touching you. It hasn’t been this way between us”. Henry said frowning.

“Please don’t come close, I don’t want anyone to touch me until after my wedding to Steve. It is our agreement and I have to respect that”. Sonia said, pulling herself backwards, far away from Steve’s reach.

“Mum have complained same thing, you don’t allow anyone touch you”.

“After our wedding, anyone can touch me. But for now, no one can touch Steve and I”. She said.

“Hmmmm! Okay oooo, no wahala. The wedding is fast approaching, barely two weeks away. Whatever it is, we shall find out that day”. He said as he left her room.

– Abigail’s House –

Abigail got home and met Steve seated in the sitting room. Her mum and brother had gone for an evening program in church. She greeted Steve and walked towards her room, and then Steve called.

“Abigail, please come”. She turned around and moved closer to him. “Please, sit down”. He said, she sat on a couch opposite Steve’s. “You know my wedding with Sonia is fast approaching?”. He asked. “Yes brother, I know and my friends will be there in great numbers”. Abigail responded.

“Glad to hear that baby sister, the faster the day approaches, the sadder I become”. Steve said wearing a worried look.

“Your wedding approaching should give you joy, instead of sadness. Is there anything you need to tell me big brother? You know you can always confide in me?”. She said moving closer to him, but he quickly asked her not to get any closer in great apprehension.

“Please, just remain where you are, Sonia and I had this agreement not to allow anyone touch us until our wedding is over. When the time is right, you will know why the day would be a sad one for me”. Abigail also, flashed back to the dream she had and remembered same statement”.

“But big brother, what sort of agreement did you enter with Sonia that no one would touch you guys until your wedding is over? We’ve had this agreement that I would be Sonia’s maid of honor and Henry your best man. If that be the case, we have to be part of those dressing you guys up on that day”. Abigail told him.

“Yes, you are right. But all that have changed now, we shall be doing that on our own. It was part of our agreement, and we were going to let you guys know about it”. Steve responded.

“Hmmmm! Big brother, this is somehow, but we have to respect you guys decision, it is your day. But hope I will still be her maid of honor and Henry your best man?”. She asked.

“We will let you know before time”. Henry answered and walked away, leaving a worried Abigail biting her fingers.

The wedding was fast approaching and all arrangements were being put in place. Andrew, the guy who was involved in an accident with them was counting the days. Getting ready to storm the wedding to unravel the mystery behind Steve and Sonia’s existence.

While the day of the wedding drew near, Steve and Sonia displayed more unusual acts and behaviors that made them looked suspicious. Especially to Henry and Abigail, who already had a glimpse of what they might be representing. But were always thrown into confusion by Steve and Sonia, because they acted normal and abnormal IN most cases.

It is two weeks to their wedding, announcements were still ongoing in all media outlets and Andrew kept holding on to the D-day.
