I still couldn’t get the fact that I was going out with my nemesis, Charlene. Everything just seem to good to be true, but nevertheless, I got prepared for the date.

Later in the evening, I was alone in the house, sitting in the living room, I was already dressed for the date and was waiting for Charlene.. It was lame for me to think that she would come over to my house so that I would take her out, so I decided to go over to Angelina’s house and pick her up.

As soon as I got to the front door.. I took a deep breath and knocked at the door, about minutes later, two white kids came and opened the door. The kids started at me looking straight into my eyes, I got a little nervous and then asked them if Charlene was inside.

Peter ➡ Evening.. Please is Charlene inside?

The kids didn’t reply me.. Instead they shut the door at my face, I was surprised and wondered why they acted this way… Seconds later, Charlene came and opened the door, my mouth dropped as I saw her.

This b-tch looks so s-xy in her clothes and she wasn’t looking bad either, She too had transformed physically, she was looking older but she looked so fresh.

Her mean stare was no longer there, her face was calm and sincere… I was surprised when she gave me a radiating smile instead of her usual mean glare… I wonder what happened to her.

Charlene ➡ ? Good evening Peter. Sorry for what happened, my kids don’t really trust strangers.

Kids!? Those little white ants were her kids? Unbelievable.. What even surprised me more was her polite manner! God! What happened to you Charlene.

Peter ➡ Good evening Charlene.. Those an.. Those are your kids?…. Angelina never told me you were married.

Charlene ➡ Yeah…

Peter ➡ So are you ready?

Charlene ➡ Yes.. Uhm.. If you don’t mind.. Can we stay at your place? I’m not feeling too well.

Peter ➡ Uh.. Okay.. Let’s go.

Charlene and I walked over to my house side by side without saying a word.. I really wasn’t comfortable with this but I have to maintain my cool.

We soon got into the house and sat in the living room, I offered Charlene some juice which she accepted and showed her appreciation, we sat with each other but with a little distance, we said nothing we just kept quiet. Unable to bear the silence, Charlene spoke up.

Charlene ➡ Listen Peter… I have something to tell you.

Peter ➡ Uh.. I’m listening.

Charlene ➡ I know you’re not comfortable with this and so am I but it’s better we get through this..

(Sighs).. I’m sorry for what I did to you over the years… It was cruel of me and immature. But part of what I did was your fault.

Peter ➡ Excuse me!?! My fault?

Charlene ➡ Yes. If you were had more balls none of this would have happened.

Peter ➡ My God! Old habits never die.. So now you’re putting your blame on me.. If I remembered clearly you were the one tormenting me and not the other way around.

You selfishly ended my relationship with your cousin and for what?

Charlene ➡ Look.. I’m sorry okay.. I truly am.

Peter ➡ You expect me to believe that?

Charlene ➡ BELIEVE WHAT YOU WANT OKAY?… WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU PETER? Why did you ignore me back when we were kids? Wasn’t I good enough for you to hang out with?….

All these questions have been ringing in my ears for years.. All along I thought you were just being arrogant but I was wrong.. Angelina told me everything and after realizing the truth, I just wasn’t the same… In fact my life has been upside down ever since Brad and I split up.. And I’m left alone to raise the kids.. I… I… try everything I can to raise them up and not to mention my job… God.. It’s all… It’s been tough for me and I don’t know what to do.. (sobs)…

Hearing Charlene cry made me feel sorry for her… I never knew she was going through a lot… It’s amazing to see that she finally admits her wrong doing which was based on her wrong conclusions… There are lot of people like her out there, judging and tormenting people based on what they believe in.. They have no idea the pain they inflict on people and before they realize their mistake, it’s already too late and life bites them too hard in their b-tts.

I moved closer to her consoling her, I had no idea that’s how she was feeling.. Initially back in the day, I was scared of talking to her because she had this air of pride and ego around her, Women like Charlene are those type of ladies that you can’t approach cause you might think they’d turn you down but this shows there’s more to a person than just their physical appearance and that looks can be deceiving.

Peter ➡ It’s okay… There’s no need for you to cry.. At least we both realize how wrong we were about each other..

Charlene ➡ So does this mean we’re cool with each other?

Peter ➡ Yes, we are.

Charlene ➡ Okay.. Thanks… I’m sorry yet again.

Peter ➡ Me too…. So if you don’t mind me asking what happened between you and your husband.

Charlene adjusted herself and looked at the ceiling for a while, I watched with admiration at her long beautiful neck, I must say Whoever was Angelina’s ancestor, his bloodline is sure blessed with beautiful women.

After a while, she sighed and told me reason behind she and her husband’s split up.

Charlene ➡ The reason we separated is because there was no love between us anymore.. The love we had was dead.

Peter ➡ God! But couldn’t you guys work it out?..

Charlene ➡ I wish it were that simple.. But I can’t go back to Brad even if there was a chance we could be back as a family.

Peter ➡ What’s your reason for saying that?

Charlene ➡ Forgive me for saying this but you men are selfish d-cks.. All you care is about your own interests… Brad wasn’t the man I once knew, I saw his true colors when we got married.. He was sloppy and lazy, he barely supports me in the house, he doesn’t look after the kids, and he doesn’t do his fatherly duties, he and his friends would go out, get drunk and come back home peeing on our bed.

Peter ➡ Jesus. That’s disgusting.

Charlene ➡ Yeah.. It was.. So I got fed up with him and told him to adjust but yaht became a problem to him, in fact he resented me for telling him that, he began to insult me, accusing me of things I didn’t do.. His attitude went on for weeks and I finally had enough of his b-llshit.. So we both decided to go our separate ways. That b-stard didn’t even cared to say goodbye to the kids.

Peter ➡ My God.. That’s terrible.. I’m sorry.

Charlene ➡ It’s okay.. In fact, I’m happy I’m done with that loser.. My problem now is handling the kids.. I can’t do that when I’m working and if I quit, there’ll be no money to take care of them. So that’s why I brought them here to Uncle felix’s house.

Peter ➡ Aren’t they schooling at in abroad?

Charlene ➡ You know how American schools are.. No moral training,… Did you know my kids know how to use the middle ? finger?

Peter ➡ My God!… So you brought them here to school?

Charlene ➡ No.. I just came here to stay for a while… I’m taking them to England to study. At least there, the schools don’t tolerate nonsense.

Peter ➡ Wow.. You’re obviously trying.. It’s not easy being a single mom.

Charlene ➡ Tell me about it.

Peter ➡ So what now?.. Are you scouting for men?

Charlene ➡ Heck no.. I’m not rushing into a relationship yet.. I’m just going to have my fun before I get ready for another commitment.

Peter ➡ Hmm, good luck with that.

Charlene ➡ Peter.. Can I ask you for a favour?

Peter ➡ Sure what is it?

Charlene ➡ I’ve been wanting to get back at that b-stard ex husband of mine. He’s been a real jerk.

Peter ➡ Why? You’re done with him why do you want to get back at him.

Charlene ➡ Well, a week after our divorce, he went and began dating one of my neighbors and as been sending me photos of them having fun together saying that he had finally found the right woman.

Peter ➡ So??…

Charlene ➡ I want to give him a dose of his own medicine.

Peter ➡ Oh… Wait! Are you saying that…

Charlene ➡ Yes.. I want you to kiss me.

Peter ➡ Wow.. You can’t be serious!

Charlene ➡ I am.. I was hoping to find some hot random guy to do it with but since you’re available and you’re quite good looking, I’m sure my Ex will be jealous.

Peter ➡ Is this really necessary!?

Charlene ➡ It is.. Come on.. It’s just a kiss.

Peter ➡…….

Charlene ➡ Don’t be such a pu–y, what else could happen!?

Peter ➡ Don’t call me that word again..

Charlene ➡ Sorry.. So are you going to help me out.

Peter ➡ (sighs) Okay fine. But just this once.

Charlene ➡ Sure.

I can’t believe it… I just couldn’t believe it.. First it was Reconciliation and now kissing ?… I hope something won’t come out of this.

Charlene turned on the video recorder of her iPhone and placed on the table making sure it was recording us, after that, we got close to each other, I didn’t know where to begin, in fact I was completely frozen, It was Charlene who made the first move.
