God! Why did you let this happen?? How could you have given me a witch for a cousin… All this time and years apart from Peter… That b-tch was responsible.. She even had the guts to console me when she was behind our breakup ?. God! Just wait till we meet.. She’s going to be in a real trouble.

After Peter dropped me off at home… We both took our separate ways and entered our various houses..

After that revelation from Peter, I felt different … It was like I was back to my younger self again… The Love I had for Peter had suddenly reemerged from my heart and it was stronger than ever.. Collins was no longer in my mind, he was like a distance dot almost invisible from my mind.

As I walked into the house, I was surprised when I saw Charlene with her kids talking to my parents.. Without thinking twice, I glared at her and insulted her in front of everyone.

Felix ➡ Jesus! Angelina!?

Alice ➡ My God! Have you lost your head?.. First you come back late and now this?..

Charlene ➡ Cousin.. Are you alright?

With one big leap, I hurled myself at her and landed on her, strangling her neck… We rolled on the ground pulling each other’s hair pinching each other in the process … My parents watched with shock as they saw us brawling like cats.. Mom pulled Charlene’s kids away to a safe distance, while Dad tried separate us… It took a while before he broke us free.

Mom took the kids upstairs while Dad sat us at the dinning table asking us what happened but before that happened, He scolded us for about an hour, Charlene and I were busy eyeing each other murderously.. After Dad was done.. He asked me what happened.

Angelina ➡ Dad.. This witch here was the reason why Peter and I broke up 6 years ago… She sent him a s-x tape framing me for cheating on him… You’re so going to pay for what you did.

Felix ➡ Good! I want you both to apologize to one another and Charlene, I want you to give Peter a heart warming apology… He deserves it and I want you to settle whatever trouble it is you’re both having… Is that clear?

Charlene ➡ Yes Uncle.

Felix ➡ Good.. now apologize to each other.

As we were doing that, My mom came down and asked what happened, my Father told her everything and she too poured her own before telling us to leave her sight .. After that, I went to my bedroom and shut the door, afterwards I jumped on my bed and began to cry… It was heartbreaking that Peter and I split but now, some b-tch is engaged to my childhood love and it’s all Charlene’s fault… I should have broken her neck when I had the chance…

As much as I want Peter, I can’t tell him to break his engagement because of me.. It would be selfish and cruel… But I would really feel hurt if I saw him finally getting married to that Bianca lady… God! What do I do?

In that moment, I heard a knock on my door, I slowly went and opened it to see who it was…. Charlene was standing at the front door, when I opened it.. She wasn’t smiling and so was I.. We stood staring at each other for a while before we both finally said something.

Angelina ➡ What are you doing here?

Charlene ➡ I want to apologize to you.. Can I come in?.

I hesitated for a while before moving out of the way… Charlene walked in briskly and sat on my bed playing with her fingers, I sat a bit far away from her glaring at her.

Charlene ➡ (sighs) Look! I’m sorry for what I did..I really am.. But honestly.. I’ve been planning for this to happen since we were kids… I don’t like Peter.. I really don’t… The b-stard rubs me off in a awful way… And believe me what I say this.. It felt good when I saw his face when I sent him that video… It was so fun back then I didn’t realize the consequences of my actions.. Once again I’m sorry…

I kept quiet listening to her… This Charlene.. Even in my presence she’s still showing her resentment for Peter and she’s even proud of her work… This B-tch get mind o.

Peter ➡ Why do you hate Peter?? What did he ever do to you to make you hate him so much?

Charlene ➡ Well.. The reason why I hate him is because he’s an arrogant pr-ck!! He always looks at me like I’m some kind of plague… Even on the very first day we met… I was just trying to get to know him better but no… He never gave me a chance to do that.. He would always shun me and pay more attention to you.. I tried everything to get his attention but nothing worked… I concluded that he hated me and so I hated him back and decided to make him pay.

Angelina ➡ So this is what is all about? You tormented Peter just because he didn’t talk to you???

Well let me tell you something you don’t know… Peter didn’t ignore you.. In fact he was too nervous and shy to do that.. You know why… He thinks you’re too cool for him… He was always afraid of approaching you and when you approached him, he just couldn’t find the right words to say to you… You were different from the rest of the kids in our neighborhood, he was amazed when I told him you were from abroad and that you were my cousin.. To him, you were a sight to marvel.. You wore the best clothes, shoes and everything…

It was also the same with me with I first met him, but it didn’t take long cause I forced myself on him.

Peter never hated you.. He just wasn’t confident enough to talk to you.

Charlene kept quiet after I was done.. From the look of her face, she must have been touched by what I said.. I saw her wiping tears from her eyes… She was crying but she never showed it.. After some sniffs, she turned and looked at me.

Charlene ➡ God! I’ve been such a terrible person… Where’s Peter now?? I have to apologize to him.

Angelina ➡ Oh… He’s around.. But we can’t see him tonight… Let’s leave it some other time.

Charlene ➡ Okay… (Laughs) So are we good? No more fights?.
