Mike’s POV ?

Ohh my God

“Please Vanessa don’t do this, I’m begging you”

I couldn’t resist looking at her

She had this funny smile on her face as she moved closer to me

“You are the one that came for this, so why the regression?”

She kept coming closer

“Ok please stop, I’m not gonna do anything to you, just let me get out of this house”

“Why? Don’t you want to have fun?”

“No Vanessa, I know what you’re trying to do, and I can’t risk staying here for the next two minutes”

“No, why don’t you…”

Suddenly, I heard a loud noise..

It was a gunshot

I looked at Vanessa and looked down to my chest

I was shot

“You see, there is something you need to know about me, no one dares joke with me”

I began to lose balance

“Please help me” I said in a whisper

“Throw him somewhere far from here” she ordered

Johnbull’s POV ?

I went to take my bath, thanks to Deborah

I had seen a girl who claimed she knew me

The bath was a long one

It’s been long I had a good bath

Hmmph

I Wonder where my Mom would be right now

It’s just so surprising that she was kidnapped and yet no one asked for ransom

After the bath, I decided to come to the sitting room

I wanted to thank Deborah

Wait a minute.. where are her parents?

I haven’t even seen them since I came in

While moving to the sitting room, I heard voices

It must be Deborah and the other girl

Wait a minute.. why are they mentioning my name?

“Why are you mentioning my name?”

Their face suddenly turned pale

“Nothing, we were just talking about school, that’s all!” Deborah replied

“No.. we weren’t actually discussing about..”

Deborah hit Wonder before she could complete her statement

What’s going on here?

“Don’t mind her, she’s kind of joking” Deborah added

“Ok, I came to say thank you. I know I don’t deserve your accommodation, but yet you still allowed me in and..”

“Johnbull, it’s okay. Don’t say it as if you’re begging me”

Her friend too was surprised by that statement

“What do you mean?”

“About what?”

“What you just said?”

“It’s nothing, there is food at the kitchen. You can eat anything”

“Ok, thanks”

Deborah’s POV ?

Why is he thanking me as if I’m the bad girl

It doesn’t really make sense

I told him to go get some food from the kitchen

“What’s wrong with you?” Wonder asked in a whisper

“What?”

“Must you show that you’re angry?”

“I didn’t do anything Wonder, I was just trying to say something nice”

“Something nice? So that’s your version of saying something nice right?”

“Whatever Wonder, I don’t care”

“Anyways, I have to get going”

“Come on Wonder, are you now angry with me?”

“Yes I am, instead of you to try building a relationship with him, you are destroying it”

“But I don’t I’m interested anymore. I mean it’s obvious he does not like me”

“Are you in his heart?”

“What?”

“Yes you heard me correctly, don’t you know sometimes, guys pretend to not have interest in you because they are shy”

“Just shut up. Let’s go upstairs to check up on your Mom”

Don’s POV ?

“Make una come eat oo” a guy with a metal in his hands announced loudly

But it’s impossible for the police to give us food this early

Anyways, I can out because I was really hungry

I’ve spent few days in this prison

No calls… No visits

Maybe the police hid the location to this place

As far as I can remember, the police took me while my daughter was at the prison

I hope they take her too

Oh God, I hope she is fine and my wife also

I’m very sure my wife would be angry at me

It’s been so many years, I didn’t call her nor send any messages

She took care of Deborah all alone

So hearing about my arrest, will open the already healing wound

It’s just so heart breaking, I couldn’t remember anything close to my family while I was working for master

“Oga, you go eat or not?” One of the officers yelled at me

There is something common in this prison, it’s yelling

Even their boss do that

I rushed the food

Without telling lies, the food really taste nice

I went back or I was put back into the prison

“Nice food right?” Someone suddenly asked from nowhere

I looked around where I was

I’m the only one in this cell

So, where did that vice come from

“Who are you?”

“Don’t you recognize my voice anymore?”

Oh shit!

It’s the master

“Oh so it’s you, you came here to mock me and yet you’re hiding, right?”

“See Don, I’m not who you think I am. I’m aware you came to my house. You met Mike and a fake guy”

“Oh you want to deny the fact that it was you, right?”

“Hahaha” he laughed hard

“Come out in the open, you fake lier” I yelled at nothing

What is he using that I can’t even see him?

Or I’m I day dreaming?

“Anyways Don, i didn’t come here for shouts or hide and seek. I came here to inform you about your daughter”

What!!!!

“What is it about my daughter?”

“I’m going for her Don. You brought her the other time, when I saw her, she was perfect for the sacrifice”

“What the he are you talking about? I didn’t bring my daughter to you”

“I’m going for her Don, where she is. She is perfect lamb for the sacrifice!”

Mama Johnbull’s POV ?

Hmmph it’s morning time

Another day of loneliness

I haven’t yet seen Donald

Thanks for his shelter, I’m alive today

He saved me the day I fell down at the chemist’s shop

Donald was my classmate in school

We lost contact for a very long time, it was when I woke at the hospital

I saw him for the first time after so many years

Where could he be?

I was living in a mighty house all alone

There has to be some way I could reach out to Donald

I’ve tried calling his phone so many times

It’s still switched off

“Where are you Donald?”

Or maybe I should ask my neighbor

Ok, that would help in any way

I went out of the house, and strolled a little to the other side of the road

I knocked on the gate

“Hello there!”

After some minutes, a middle aged man came out

“How can I help you?”

“I’m really sorry for disturbing you sir, I just want to ask some questions”

“Ok, go on”

“Uhmm.. my friend has not yet been back for like three days. He went out late some days back and still won’t return”

“Have you tried his phone?’

“Yes sir.. I do that like almost every hour of the day”

“What does he look like?”

Seriously? This man does not even know the face of his neighbor

Thank God, I came out with my phone

I showed him a picture of Donald

“Wait a minute, is this your friend?”

“Yes sir”

“I saw this man at a prison yesterday”

“What!! You mean this man” I asked pointing to Donald’s picture

“Yes, I went there for a robbery case”

“Oh my God, sir can you please tell me the address”

“Yeah sure”

The man described the place to me

I can’t believe Donald is in a prison right now

I boarded a vehicle and went straight to the location

After hours of driving, the driver parked at the front of a police station

It’s really true, this is a police station

I went in looking curious

“Excuse me”

“Yes ma’am, how can we help you”

“Yeah, actually I came to see someone here. His name is Donald”

The woman at the deck looked at me in a disturbing way

“Why are you looking for him?”

“What do mean officer? He is my friend and I came to see him. Or I’m i not allowed”

“Ok, sign in here” she stretched a book and a pen to me

After some minutes, an officer brought out Don.

Oh my God

“Rebecca!”

“Don what are you doing here?”

“It’s a long story Rebecca, how are you doing?”

“Don’t ask about me, just tell me what brought you here!”

“Calm down Rebecca”

“Don’t tell me to calm down Donald.. don’t please. Just explain yourself”

Don told me everything, I guess

“So you mean, this man called master actually appeared in your room”

“Yes”

“Hmmph, I know what to do”

“What are you trying to do Rebecca”

“I’m going to look for him!”
