My joy had no containment

I really don’t know why I’m happy, but it just kept flowing through me

Finally that witch has left us for good

From onset, I had suspected the pregnancy to be from that boyfriend of hers

There was even incident of recent, I saw her with a man at the mall

Looking at her from a distance, I could tell she we was not comfortable.

She kept frowning and complaining

That day, I had pity on the man

But I see no reason why Sarah should sleep with my Dad without his consent

It’s just surprising and funny

I’ve watched movies that talk about a man having two wives

It was terror in that home

It’s either they got divorced or something else

Lemme go take something from the fridge

Today is enjoyment day

“Hey Madam, what are you doing in that place?”

I quickly washed the plates, and came back to take my drink

I decided to ask my Mom

“Mom, who is this person that told you about Sarah?”

“Better, anyways your Dad and I are going out. Take care of the house”

I went in to change my dress and put on my sneakers

Since Deborah’s house wasn’t that far from ours, my parents dropped me at the house passage

I came closer to the door and knocked.

She looked at me for some seconds and then sighed

“I got kidnapped by some people through John”

“Wait a minute, is it the new boy you are talking about?”

“Yes, he was asked by the client to bring a girl. The client promised him a huge sum of money”

“So he decided to bring you right?”

“Yes”

“I knew it! I knew that boy was not ordinary. First he came to you to teach him geography, then he went further by asking you outal and…”

“Wait, how did you know John asked me out?”

“You told me yourself nah”

“Oh I see, anyways when I got there, I found Johnbull”

So Johnbull is still alive

“Wow, that’s good news, I thought he was dead”

“No godforbid” Deborah replied raising her hand across her head

I smiled

“What is it? Why are you smiling?”

“Nothing. It’s just that Deborah really love Johnbull”

“What! Please just shut up Wonder”

“Why? Is your Mom not aware?”

She sighed

“She is. Actually, we had a fight at the prison. Long story cut short, I saw my Dad”

“What! This story is really full of surprises”

“Yeah”

“So have you told your Mom? Where is she sef?”

“I’ve told her. She is actually crying inside”

“Ohh, I feel her pains”

“My fear right now is my Dad being sent to life imprisonment or death sentence”

“But your Dad did something evil nah, he is guilty of it”

I couldn’t see any reason why Deborah is having pity on her Dad

He left his family when she was young and now she found out he was the one that planned her kidnap.

There is nothing to pity in this case

He is guilty of it!

“You won’t understand Wonder, alot happened while I was in that prison”

“Whatever, excuse me, I want to ease myself”

I stood up and moved to the guest room

“Emm, actually there is…” Deborah tried to stop me

“Don’t worry Deborah, I will flush”

I barged into the room and behold I saw Johnbull shirtless

Eunice’s POV ?

Thank goodness, Xavier called to inform me about Sarah’s plot

I had just prepared to go to the saloon

I trekked to the nearest bike point to take a bike

While on the drive, my phone rang

I ignored, because it wi be awkward receiving call on a bike

But something kept telling me to pick the call

It was Xavier…

Xavier is my very good, although we’ve lost contact for a very long time

So I was kinda surprised when he called me

“Hey Xavier, long time no see”

“Emm Eunice, is that you?”

His voice was cracking

“Hello can you hear me? Your voice is cracking a little bit”

“Eunice, I dont have much time on my side, but Sarah is plotting an attack on your way. So please if you’re on the road, just come down and hide”

I was confused

“Xavier, what do you mean? You just called after so many years, and you have to say is hide from the road!”

“I know it’s imp… Impossible to believe, but Sarah just poisoned me because I heard her making the call with an assassin”

Wait a minute.. how did he even know Sarah?

What Sarah is he talking about?

“Which Sarah are you talking about?”

“Oh my God, so she is planning to kill me after getting pregnant for my husband!”

Xavier was coughing really hard over the phone

“Your husband?”

“Yes, she is pregnant for my husband”

“Sarah is my girlfriend”

I could no longer hear him clearly

I quickly alighted from the bike and went straight to the police

We alighted and moved straight to the receptionist at the deck

She directed us to a ward after we signed in

Xavier was lying quietly in the bed

His appearance has really changed

I didn’t even know he was living in this city

“Hey Xavier”

“Hi Eunice, it’s good to see you”

“How are you doing right now?”

“I’m getting better, good afternoon sir” he greeted stretching his hand to my husband

“Afternoon bro” my husband received the handshake

“Anyways Xavier, Sarah has been arrested. She tried to kill my husband and my daughter, she said she couldn’t leave my husband alone and so, they would die together”

“Hmm, I can’t believe she has been having an affair. Though, I’ve been noticing her attitude towards me. She seldomly pick my calls”

“Yes, we observed that too”

After the long talk, my husband and I decided to check on Sarah

Luckily, Sarah was in the same husband with Xavier

But they haven’t seen each other

The doctor asked us to come into his office

“Doctor hope no problem?”

“No ma’am, you all are aware she is pregnant right?’

“Yes doctor” my husband replied

Wait a minute, since the baby doesn’t belong to my husband, then it would be Xavier

“Ok, due to her condition. She lost one of her kidneys”

“What do you mean doctor?”

“Due to the gun shot, it affected her kidney. Though she has been having complications right from time, but it got worst when she was shot”

“So are you saying she needs a kidney transplant?”

“Yes sir”

“Then find a donor, doctor” I replied, looking curiously at the doctor

“Yes I know. Before now, we’ve been searching for a donor to commence operation, we couldn’t find one. But just when we did the test for your husband concerning her pregnancy..”

“Doctor, please just go straight to the point” I raised my voice at him

“Your husband’s kidney fits hers”
