My Wicked Mother in law - S01 E16

When I got to the hospital,I saw my mother in-law sobbing uncontrollably at the front of hospital.

I was touched and I ran to her instantly.

“Mama! Why are you crying” I asked. Did anything happened?.

“I went to see my son Ken and he insisted that he doesn’t want to see me” She spoke as though energy had left her body the way juice leaves the pulp of a devoured orange!.

Pity welled up in the bottom of my heart and there were wet streaks on her face caused by the constant wiping away of tears.

I comforted her to stop crying that I’ll talk to Ken. My mother in-law stopped crying and hugged me

Warmly.

O nwa m! You’ve a good heart,after all the odious things I’ve done to you you still loved me “She muttered”

Do not worry yourself Mama! at least you’ve changed “I said with my face wreathe in smiles”.

I was delighted and one adage came through my mind “One who speaketh bad about you today, will praise you tommorow”.

My mother in-law now told me beseechingly that he wants me to beg Ken on his behalf. I promised her that I’ll do what she had said as I went inside the hospital.

Getting to where Ken was lying,I saw Ken sobbing hysterically and he looked up into my face. A pair of heavy,red eyes tried unsuccessfully to focus on mine.

“Ken what is the problem” I asked curiously.

“I don’t ever want to see that woman”He roared like an angry lion.

No! don’t say that Ken. No matter what had happened,she is still your mother and will continue to be your mother “I replied him”

What a mother! a mother that made Mike my elder brother horrendously beat you,shôt and also stábbed me which almost led to our depárture ” Ken uttered while wailing”.

It’s now a thing of the past Ken,she is now a changed person. She have begged for forgiveness do accept her please ‘I waffled”.

Ken didn’t utter another word as he was crying like Lumpkin the crying bird.

I invited her mom to come in and she hesitatingly invaded.

Ken hugged his mother as they started shedding tears of joy and I was greatly pleased.
