Call To Arm

15 years later

The moon hovered on the horizon, the tone of the sky changing colours, turning bloody red before raising a somewhat cloudy weather, the sky that had been clear and shinning before due to the light of the moon had turned dark in a couple of minute…

Steven took his binocular for the umpteenth time to look around the compound of the large building on the harbour of the colombian peninsula, still there had been no sign serious activity in the compound except for the patrolling guards, his intel and research had told him the deal is going to start at 10pm, he look at his wrist watch, the time is already 1:30am he had been waiting for the past four hours, now he has start to think maybe he had got a wrong information, the link he has been following for the past one year had lead him to this harbour, now he is not sure anything is going to go down tonight or anytime soon…

He unzip his backpack and took out a tablet, he unlock it and open up an app, the app loads for five seconds and it opened, the app was displaying a map, on the map a green dot was blinking, he looked at and study it for 30 seconds, he dropped back the tablet into the bag, “I’m at the right location, he said to himself, he was about to zip up the backpack when he heard the sound, it was the sound of a moving vehicle approaching from the road, he quickly took his binocular and looked at the road where the sound was coming from, he saw two black suv moving slowly into the large compound the suv moved forward a bit and stopped at the front of the house with its headlamp illuminating the areas of the compound, four men came down from the first suv with black briefcase, seconds later another four men came down from the second suv making the total of eight huge men in black suit, he notice the men they were all armed with different firearms, about some seconds later another two black suv came into the compound and also stops at the front of the house beside the first two suv’s, another eight people with two briefcase and also armed came out of the two vehicles, they walk closer to the first set of eight men waiting around already they exchange some greetings and all went in. The deal is about to go down…

“Alpha the deal is going down, send in backup”

“Backup is thirty minutes away, be on look out omega”

“Twenty minutes, d--n it, I ain’t go twenty minutes, the deal will b off in another ten minutes” he looked at the compound, there was about five guards each with a side arm patrolling the compound which he had seen, he had noticed they each exchange post every two minutes from the west wing to the east it and it takes 30 seconds for each to reach his post and a cctv monitoring every angle of the building, he will need to take the west wing into the compound as the security level is low there. He looked back at his wrist watch, he has only 10 minutes to move into the building, he set his stopwatch to 10 minutes, that is it, he took out the receiver in his ear, he opened back his backpack and brought out all the guns inside it, he load those that needs to be loaded, he took his twin silver berreter silenced pistol from the backpack and strapped it into the gun hostler around his waist, he put his shinning jack knife inside its sheath on his right hip, he took back his backpack and strapped it to his back.

He walks over to the west side of the building with only an electrified wire as it fence, he brought out a plier and cut off some piece of the wire to make an entrance, some seconds later he was in, he brought out the tablet in his back, the same green dot that was blinking before was still blinking, but now it was moving slowly as he was moving, he looked at the layout of the building displaying on the tablet and studied it very well, seconds later he dropped it back into the bag and proceed inside the building…

He saw two of the guards patrolling the west wing, one was smoking and talking to the other one standing beside a oil barrel silently, he moved back a bit avoiding the cctv, he saw an empty can of a energy drink, he took it and throw it towards the two talking guards, the can make a clinging sound and the guards instantly sprung into alert mode each drawing their weapons.

“What the hell was that?” The smoking guard asked the second guard with a hint of stress in his voice

“Let me go check” the second guard said and walks towards where the can was thrown from.

He saw the guard approaching his hiding place a meter to him, he brought out a fibre wire and instantly attack the guard, he pinned the neck of the guard with the wire, strangling the air out of his throat, he struggled for a bit, but his attacker was stronger than him, the second guard saw the brief struggling movement of his partner, without thinking twice he brought out his gun and was about to pull the trigger, when he felt two slug of bullet pierce his chest, he fell down to the ground with a faint thud…

He move down through the corridor to the east side of the building, he saw another guard he quickly send a slug to his forehead, another guard came out from the room of the left side of the hall, he put another hole to his chest. He slowed down and check the capacity of his gun, he still had a lot of ammo, and lot of hostility, one guard remaining in the compound plus the other armed 16 men in the building, he walk stealthily towards the last room on the end of the hall, he put back one of his twin berreter into its hostler, he was about to open the door when he heard a gun shot from behind, the bullet fly past his right ear missing him by an inch, he ducked down and send barrel of shots to d guard, the guard fell down groaning as he went blank.

He stood up and open the door instantly, entering into the down hall of the building, the men upstairs must have been alerted by the sound of the gunshot, he walk quick and stealthily through the hall leading to a stair, one of the men that has went in earlier into the building brandishing a gun come running down the stairs, Steven ducked back down the stairs and released two bullets from his gun, one first to the man’s leg and the other to his forehead, he climbed the stairs and released another shot on the man’s chest, another guard came out from one of the room on the second floor, he released another shot straight to his head, the guard fall down straight his face facing the floor.

Steven walked through the corridor opening the door of each room,” 3 gone thirteen remaining” he said to himself, he walked and reached the last room on the hall of the second, he opened the door and went into the room, he took a step forward to a case on a table and opened it, the case was filled with drug, he un strapped his backpack, dropped it on the table and took out a mini camera installed in a pen, he took photo graphic shot of the case filled with drug, after taking some pictures he closed the case and turned back to see three men pointing guns at him.

“Who are you?” One of the men asked looking at Steve with a disgusting look…

The door of a room on the third floor flunged open, the room was sound proof, anybody in the room won’t hear what ever is going on outside as those outside won’t hear a thing happening in the room, a man came in and bowed to the two men that were each sitting in a couch facing each other with a mini mahogany table dividing them, the two men were talking business each sipping from a champagne flute,the men were both in their late sixties with one of them starting to grow gray hairs. The men turned back and looked at the man that just interrupted their discussion with a look missed with anger and calmness.

“Diaz what the hell is the meaning of this?” One of the men asked the man that just interrupted their discussion

“We got an Intruder in the building sir, we need to evacuate you from the building” the man said to the men with a bowed head trying not to look at their faces

“An intruder?? He continued, Take care of him quickly and radioed for the chopper and clear every traces that link to us in the building, send four men up to me. we leave instantly.

The man bowed again and walked out of the room.
