Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 72

I felt so vulnerable for all that had happened and prayed several times that the two guys should not be caught.

No sooner had we reached the police station than the inspector bumbed into me.I wanted to disappear into thin air that minute.

The thought of me promising him never to be seen in hand cuffs again at his station came to me like the incident just happened a couple of minutes ago.

I hid my face by lowering my face.Little did i know that he saw me from a distance when i was alighting from the police car.

“Biggie,i thought i adviced you not to do anything that could send you back here….The inspector asked.

I was about answering him when one policeman saved me by interrupting.He explained to the inspector why i had been convicted.Also he said that i

had been arrested just for interrogation but for the scene i created,that was why i was handcuffed because they feared i would escape.

The inspector called one of the policemen aside for an insight of the story i guess,after which i was sent to the interrogation room for further questioning.

There were two men who came to the room to interrogate me.The way they looked me in the eye made my heart to tremble but i knew i had to do anything for them to suspect me.

” Biggie,where were you when you when the incident happened…One of them asked.

“I got a message that my mother had been taken ill and was sent to the hospital so i was told by the caller to rush home immediately which i did.

So can you tell us when exactly you went to visit your mum,the other guy asked a follow up question.

” I went about a week ago before my friend Simone called me on phone telling me what had happened.

The interrogation went on and on and on but i was very excited after they had finished because they never mentioned the two guys i sent in our investigation.

They asked me to wait in the room which i did because i had no option than to sit down and wait.They went out for about twenty minutes after which one

policeman came in to inform me that i was free to go but he warned that should anything come up,they would not hesitate to call me….

The Policeman unlocked the hand cuffs on my hand and escorted me out of the room and the station.

I went home very weary that hot afternoon. Lucky tried asking me series of questions but i pleaded with her to let me rest for a while which she obliged.

She woke me up at half past four in the evening when i was sleeping on the couch asking me to join her on the dinning table at my mum’s place.

She went into the kitchen to bring the dinner she had prepared. I heard something prompting me to call my mum and plead with her to follow my plan because they would interrogate her too.

With that, i got up from the table and called my mum giving her an update of what was happening. She was overwhelmed over what i had done but promised to abide by my rules.

That alone gave me courage and thanked her before hanging up.

I was shocked to see my girlfriend standing behind me when i turned. No one needed to tell me that she had heard every bit of my conversation on the phone.

She took my hand, walked me to the table and sat me down, all she could do was to cry. I tried holding her hand but she warned me not to.

“So you did all that, how could you Biggie. I never thought of you going this far just for revenge. You are so selfless, you never for once thought of me let alone put your trust in me…. She poured out.

I got closer to her and hugged her, I thought of this before coming out with such a plan dear. Of course i think of you. I know i was stupid master minding such a dreadful plan, but trust me i did it for you my love.

I couldn’t bear the shame and disgrace she planned and was about to plan against you. She threatened to fight and disgrace you where ever she met you.

Pebbles needed to be stopped and someone needed to take the bull by the horn. So i stepped up for us. No one bites my finger and goes Scott free…. Biggie lamented.

” But you needed the police to know that threat she issued against me, besides you never told me so how could i have known of her intentions to disgrace me.

I had to convince her some more to understand me. Also i realised she was scared of loosing me so i gave her hope that she wont loose me because the guys i sent had promised never to step foot in the vicinity.

They made it clear to me that, they did a clean job and i trusted them because they executed exactly what told them. I got to know that after they had narrated everything to me and from how Simone described the incident.

They said they wouldn’t step foot here not until five years, that was the deal and i paid them with a huge amount.

They wouldn’t even dare because they know what might happend to them should they be convicted. With this she calmed down……
