===THE THIEF ON WALL STREET===

Mike was released latter in the evening.He called me to tell me of his great news.He was more than happy to be finally out from that Hell.

According to him,the officer in charge collected a sum of GH500 before issuing a command to his subordinates for his release.

He spent more than an hour before he was released.This happened because his Lawyer had to go to the bank and withdraw money which took him quite a long time because the network had been jammed.

Like me,he was to sign an undertaking every morning till when Kelvin will be discharged.

“So our only hope is to pray that Kelvin be discharged from the hospital safe and sound….Mike confirmed.

He apologized for his mistaking of taking on a fight with me which he would not have done should he not have been drunk.

I said to him that he was not to be blaimed for what had happened and advised him to learn a lesson out of it which he obliged.

He then asked of my friend Simone and i replied he was not around.Mike then asked me to extend his greetings to him before he promised to call him later and he hanged up.

*It was drizzling at about five in the evening.The weather was a bit cold which forced me to go for a blanket in the bed room.

On my return,I heard someone from outside screaming.The person was trying to draw the attention of people to come to his aid.

I quickly threw the blanket somewhere and rushed to the living room to pick up my shirt.I rushed out only to see a crowd of people gathered in front of Bro Mike’s door.

” What is going on here,I asked one man pulling him by the hand.Bro Mike has caught a thief. red handed in his room,go see for yourself.You would be shocked who this thief might be….The man urged me,pushing me through the crowd.

The crowd made way for me to pass.Bro Mike’s door was open but the number of people who wanted to troupe in was massive that I had to beg them before they gave way for me to enter his room.

When I entered the room,I saw a boy about twelve like the one they described sometime ago who testified that he had seen Lucy,my girlfriend coming out from Bro Mike’s room.

The boy was with some few Ghanaian Cedi Notes in his hand and he stood behind a drawal which was opened.In that drawal were some more Cedi notes.

I asked Bro Mike who the boy was and he felt ashame to even spill out his name.Bro Mike burnt his head down saying,”this is the boy who accused Lucy of stealing the GH500.00.

No sooner had he said that than one guy who stood behind the boy gave him two dirty slaps from behind.

The other men in the room begged him to stop but he refused.He drew out his belt and started whipping him mercilessly.

Seeing that the guy could cause trouble for us,we sent him out from the room and locked the door.

“We have to call in the police…One man suggested.

Meanwhile, the guy we sent out had already filled the air with the news outside.People begun to shout on us to bring the boy outside which we refused.

They could kill him instantly should we allow him to step out.Instead Bro Mike called the police on phone and sooner than later,the air was filled with the sound of the police siren……..
