Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 63

The warden led me to see Mr.Anthony my lawyer who was seated in the interrogation room with his legs crossed.

He stood up and greeted me politely before asking the warden to kindly remove the hand cups he placed on my hands.

He nodded to reply lawyer Anthony before removing the hand cups carefully.He told us that we had only fifteen minutes to talk over whatever we wanted to discuss before he left us,closing the door behind him.

“Biggie,I want to know how everything started up to where you were arrested…he asked.

I took my time explaining every detailed information he wanted to hear as he listened carefully with a corked ear.

He asked series of questions like why Pebbles threatened to beat Lucy up and why I should have reported that threat before taking the law into my own hands.

I explained to him that,her insults that day infuriated me to the brim that I could no longer control my temper which resulted into such a fearful fight.

He understood why Mike had got himself involved when I explained to him and said every man who was drunk could do same.

He adviced me not to loosen my temper on women which could send me to prison because there were laws protecting them.

” These laws are so tightened up that if you make a mistake and you hit a woman with your hand no matter how rude she behaves towards you,you will have yourself to blaim in the law court….he cautioned.

Mr.Anthony also asked that I pray for Kelvin to recuperate well and respond to treatment faster than we should expect which could defray Pebbles mind from pressing charges on behalf of her boyfriend.

He added that,Pebbles was up for my trouble so I should do anything possible to fight her off but not to do so by physically assaulting her or her boyfriend Kelvin which I tried doing earlier on.

He also adviced that if possible I should not make any contact with her before the case would be over.

He finally gave me the best news I wanted to hear that he had contacted the officer in charged and made he gave in to his plea for me to be bailed with conditions.

The conditions were that,I would be required to report at the station every morning to sign and they would set spies to check on my movements in town.

The officer received a call that Kelvin was well and was responding to treatment quickly.That gave him the prerogative to give me a bail…..Lawyer Anthony explained.

Mike was to be bailed by his lawyer later in the day.I thanked him very much for his pieces of advice before I was released from the police custody.

I thanked the officer on duty for my release and promised to report at his station to sign the undertaken every morning as he issued.

I thanked him again before we finally parted ways…..Lawyer Anthony took me home in his car.I was very graceful for having such a wonderful lawyer.

Before i got out from his car,he assured me that with God on our side and Kelvin responding to treatment as confirmed by the doctor who called from the hospital,i had no cause to worry.I thanked him again and he advised I call him should anything happen which I promised to do so….
