Everyone believes that confessing a sin is hard for the one that is going to make it.. But they have no idea how wrong they are.. Listening to one’s confession is the easy part but coping with it is very very hard especially in cases like this… Despite what this Eva did was sinful, I was eager to hear what she has to say and so she began.

Eva ➡ Last year in January, my husband and I were finally married and our joy knew no bound, our relatives were happy and there was celebration and merriment, people wished us good fortune and happy married life…

After the wedding, my husband and I went on a honey moon, it was romantic.. We spent three weeks at the best hotel reserves overseas and we made love to each.. You should have seen us father.. It’s like we were in paradise.. Because of the fun we were having my husband and I decided not to have kids yet until we’ve enjoyed each others company.

Robert ➡ Hmmm..

Eva ➡ Is something wrong father?

Robert ➡ No.. You remind me of my wife.. We too made the same deal.. Go on..

Eva ➡ As I was saying.. We had a good time.. We finally returned from the honey moon and life was back to normal. My husband and I enjoyed each others company for three months but after that things started to go sour.

Robert ➡ What happened?

Eva ➡ My first of all.. My husband started behaving strangely.. He wasn’t as romantic as before and he was paying more attention to work, we barely had s-x or even had a decent conversation.. It’s like we were brothers and sisters in the house not husband and wife.. I was patient father, I tried everything I could to get my husband’s attention.. I thought I was the one with fault but I realized all my efforts were in vain.. I tried talking to him but he made false promises and gave silly excuses… For about a month I got tired of him..

Robert ➡ Then what happened? Was that when you started cheating on him?

Eva ➡ No father.. In fact.. I remained a dutiful and loyal wife but things started to change when my old FLAME came to visit me in my house.

Robert ➡ Old flame? You mean your ex?

Eva ➡ Yes father.. He showed up at my house in May 20th, in his NYSC uniform.. We exchanged pleasantries and we discussed a lot.. He later told me that he was serving her in Enugu and was looking for a place to stay, so I asked him to stay until he found a place to go.

Robert ➡ Hold on! You asked him to stay? How could you do that? What did you husband say about that?

Eva ➡ Well, my husband agreed and said it was fine for him to stay in the quarters but I never told him he was my Ex. My old lover stayed with us and life went on smoothly but then due to my husband’s lack of attention I began to eye my old lover..

Robert ➡ So then.. You made the first move.

Eva ➡ Not exactly.. In fact it was he that made the first move. Whenever we were alone or my husband wasn’t looking, he’d use the chance to wink at me or touch my a**, Even when we were at the dinning table eating, he’d use his legs to touch me. I ignored and resisted his advances but I couldn’t do that for long… I honestly never wanted to cheat on my husband but Temptation got hold of me.

Robert ➡ If he was making passes at you.. Why didn’t you send him out?

Eva ➡ I tried but I couldn’t.. Tunde threatened to tell my husband he was my ex… I couldn’t let that happen.. What would people say if they heard I let my Ex to stay in my matrimonial home.

Robert ➡ Tunde?.. Is that his name.. The name of your ex.

Eva ➡ Yes father.

Robert ➡ Go on..
