Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 53

Immediately I turned to see him,I figured out that he was scared.Biggie pulled me to a corner and said he wanted to leave the house immediately.

He explained that he was very much astonished to every bit of the stories the neighbors were discussing and he could no longer live in such a scary house not to talk of the ghost involved.

I giggled at him wanting to laugh out loud but the news hit me like a bomb thrown to an unaware robber.I was very much mesmerized with his sudden made up mind to leave.

I wouldn’t be able to live in my apartment alone.Which meant that I had to do everything possible to retain him.So I had to formulate something to tell him.

“Biggie,I know that you are scared but please don’t leave me here for I am scared also.I plead with you to occupy my apartment with me.

Please don’t leave me for I cannot stay here alone.We would be better staying here together than you leaving which would allow the ghost to frighten me the more.

I never knew I could change my friend Biggie’s mind but it worked after I had denied following him to his mum’s place to stay there for some time.

He finally gave in to my plea but swore that should he hear anything about the ghost issue again,he would be forced to pack out of my apartment either alone or I followed suit.

I was very much relieved of his statement that I hugged him promising Biggie to follow him to his mum’s should the ghost appear anywhere on Wall Street.

It was Sunday when Biggie woke me up about twelve midnight to hear the howling of the wind like it was about to rain that night.

There were thunder strikes here and there just to make sure that it was about to rain.I felt like urinating that instant which made me jump off the bed ready to move out and urinate.

As I jumped off the bed looking for my slippers,Biggie cautioned me to be careful outside as it could be Akwesi’s ghost outside rather than a mere cloud gathering up high in the sky ready to pour down as rain.

I was very much sure it was clouds gathering up in the sky ready to rage on the ironsheets as downpour so Biggie was way out of contest trying to choose some suitable words just to scare me.

Goats could be heard bleating loudly outside and running to and fro just to find some shelter which could save them from the heavy downpour which was about to commence.

Fowls could also be heard making noise on an orange tree behind my apartment.

They seem to be struggling for spaces to perch on the orange tree as the howling of the wind got stronger.

As the door creaked for me to step out,I was frightened by dogs backing from the neighboring houses but I did not pay much attention to them.

I stepped out of the house behind my apartment under the orange tree where the fowls were struggling to get hold of a branch just to perch on to urinate.

No sooner had I started urinating than I was moved to raise my head.I saw a figure in a white gown like a guy with his head down approaching me from Akwesi’s family house.

I turned in a frightened motion and run as fast as I could to my apartment locking the door firmly behind me.I peed on my trouser forgetting to even close my flap that Biggie had to remind me.I however ignored him and jumped to bed.

Biggie started bombarding me with a whole lot of questions but I ignored him and pulled the blanket to cover my whole body ceasing my ears with my palms to block the echoing of dogs barking outside……
