Yusuf ➡ They’re called Fura

Yusuf ➡ Yes.

Jack ➡ You’ve never tasted Fura da nono? It’s a local fulani drink but it’s very delicious and nutritious.

After Yusuf’s wife was done steering the Fura in the milk, she served the drink in each of our bowls and sprinkled some brownish stuff in it.. After she was done, Yusuf and Jack took theirs and began to drink.. I hesitated for a while watching all of them and from the look of their faces, they were really enjoying themselves.. I later took mine and began to drink… After tasting one spoon of the drink, I realized it was really delicious and was tempted to take another, I drank everything in the bowl without leaving a single drop.. Never in my life have I tasted anything so delicious ?.. It had similarities with yoghurt but it was more thicker and tastier than yoghurt.

Minutes later, we emptied our bowls and sat still, Yusuf and his wife went a bit further away from us to have a quiet moment together. After they left Jack and I were left alone. We sat together but not closely, each of us was looking at the sky staring at the moon.
