Me: am going, I need some time alone. But I love the idea of taking the bold step. Am not sure if Adesewa is strong enough to face him. And besides I don’t want to stress her. She’s heavy you know, and I don’t want anything that will terminate her pregnancy. Am off to Gen Adelaja house To face my fate.

Michael : may God be with you.

I got to Gen Adelaja house feeling totally demoralized. I was shaking from head to toe. Luckily for me I met Adesewa at the entrance.

Adesewa : Ay, you didn’t tell me that you are coming.

Me: yea, am here to see your Father

Adesewa : my father? For what?

Me: look Adesewa, I love you so much, I will not just fold my hands I watch you get married to that lunatic.

Adesewa : so you are here to…

Me: to claim you mine, you have my baby in your womb.

Adesewa : Ayo am scared. What if it doesn’t happen the way you plan.?

Me : we can only be optimistic.

Adesewa : am afraid of loosing you and the baby to come.

Me: nothing will happen to us. Now let me go talk to your father.

Adesewa : I will be waiting for the outcome.

I kissed her then I head inside, I met Gen Adelaja reading a news paper in the living room. I greeted him and he answered.

Gen Adelaja : are you here to see my daughter again?

Me: no am here to see you.

Gen Adelaja : really? Has she told you that she will be having her introduction next week.

Me: yes she did…

Gen Adelaja : good that you know.

Me: and that’s never going to happen.

Gen Adelaja : ha haha haha, you are making me laugh like a kid. Says who?

Me: says me.

Gen Adelaja : you guys are not right for each other.

Me:Don’t say we are not right for each other, the way I see it is …. we are not right for anyone else.

Gen Adelaja : you are still making me laugh. Anyway those muscles ? of yours can be very useful in cutting fire wood. We need men to cut fire wood for the introduction.

Me: am not jobless, I have a good job.

Gen Adelaja : who say you are jobless? How much are you earning per month? Tell me?

Me: enough to take care of Adesewa and the baby.

Gen Adelaja :*laughing ** in your dreams perhaps. Wait did you just say baby? You are so funny, you are even planing an imaginary family.

Me: not imaginary.

Gen Adelaja : really?

Me: yes… Adesewa is carrying my baby.

Gen Adelaja : WHAT!!!

Me: yes, my baby is in her womb.

Gen Adelaja : this is not true!!! Adesewa can never be pregnant for you!!!

Me: she is. And that’s why I said the introduction can never hold.
