Contacting Denise was definitely a big risk and was like attempting to stop a nuclear bomb with a stone….

But that was the only choice I had, Seeing John made things even more clear and worst… First, Angelina and I both know who the mole was but secondly, Could Denise be trusted? When I realized I was out of options, I decided contacting her was the only way out of this.

So one afternoon after lectures, I called her number, Angelina was with me when I made the call.

Denise ➡ Hello.. Who’s this?.

.

Peter ➡ It’s me Peter!

.

Denise ➡ Oh Peter… You coward.. Why are you bothering me?

.

Peter ➡ Will you shut up and listen. This is important but I can’t say it on the phone. meet us in Wuse at 4:00pm sharp… Come alone and don’t tell anyone about where you’re going.. When you arrive at Wuse.. Call me.

Denise ➡ Alright then.

.

After the call, Angelina stared at my face waiting for me to say something.

Angelina ➡ So? What now?

.

Peter ➡ We’ll meet in Wuse around 4.

.

Angelina ➡ Well, remaining an hour.. Let’s get going. I hope you know what you’re doing.

Peter ➡ Me too.

.

At 4:10 pm, Angelina and I together with Denise met at a hotel lobby in Wuse, luckily for us, Denise had a room there in the hotel, maybe this was the place she comes with her lovers whenever she’s in the moment. She took us to her room where it was less crowded and no one would see us. As soon as we got to her room, she got straight to the point.

Denise ➡ Alright Peter.. This had better be good! Why did you call me?

Peter ➡…… Look.. Can I trust you?

.

Denise ➡ What? Is this a joke?

.

Angelina ➡ You heard the man.. Answer his question!

.

Peter ➡ Look, I’m not here for a joke.. This is a serious question.. Can I trust you?

.

Denise ➡ Sure..

.

Peter ➡ Promise me you won’t tell anybody, not even your own shadow about what I’m about to tell you.

Denise ➡ I swear to God, I won’t..

.

Peter ➡ OK.. You’re right, Angelina and I know the man behind this kidnapping fiasco.. But we were afraid to say anything because we didn’t know who to trust and you police aren’t really that trustworthy.

Denise ➡ I see.. So who’s the man?

.

Peter ➡ Alhaji Sule.. He’s one wealthy Hausa man..

.

Angelina ➡ He’s a business tycoon.. You should know him cause he appears in the news, sometimes.. He gives small checks to organizations and finances some community service.

.

Denise ➡ I know him.. So you’re telling me a man of that reputation is a kidnapper.. Oh please.

Peter ➡ He is..

.

Denise ➡ Really? Where’s your proof?

.

Peter ➡ That car plate number you posted on the news, it’s his..

.

Denise ➡ Look a car plate number won’t put this man in prison.. I need something big.

.

Peter ➡ Look! Would it make it any better if I told you, your partner John is working with him?

.

Denise ➡ John!? Impossible.

.

Peter ➡ Its true.. Some weeks ago when I was stalking Alhaji Sule, I saw him together with john having a conversation.. John is the mole. Do you know he came to our campus just to ask us if we were hiding anything.. If he knows that we’ve had this conversation.. Angelina and I will be killed.

Denise kept quiet and sat on her bed covering her face with her hands.. It was like she was thinking whether to believe us or not.

Denise ➡ Are you sure about what you’re saying?

.

Angelina ➡ Absolutely.. We wouldn’t have called you if it wasn’t.

.

Denise ➡ Okay.. I believe you.. I’ll take care of things from here.

.

Peter ➡ No.. We’re working together on this.. No one needs to know what I just told you.

.

Denise ➡ What are you going to do? I’m the police here.. This is my job.

.

Peter ➡ Yeah.. But our lives are on the line.. Angelina is being targeted and I can’t let that happen.. I watched my friend and classmate get kidnapped right in front of me and I couldn’t save her. This has to stop.

Angelina ➡ He has a plan to capture the Alhaji and save the girls.

.

Denise ➡ How?

.

Peter ➡ Simple.. We’ll first catch John.. I’m sure he knows everything about the Alhaji’s criminal activity.

.

Denise ➡ So what’s this plan of yours?

.

Peter ➡ The plan is simple.. But for it to work we need Angelina as a decoy.

.

Angelina ➡ What? Me.. Decoy?

.

Denise ➡ Isn’t that risky?

.

Peter ➡ No.. Everything will turn out fine.. Okay listen.. Do you know John’s house?

.

Denise ➡ Yes.. But he doesn’t go home until maybe 10 or 11.

Peter ➡ Good.. (Olosho).. Then Angelina will stay a few meters away from his house.. She’ll stand as if she’s waiting for someone. and we’ll park from a safe distance away from her and wait for his return.

Angelina ➡ But what if he doesn’t return?

.

Denise ➡ Oh.. He will.

.

Peter ➡ Once he sees her, i’m sure he’ll pick her up.

.

Angelina ➡ But he and I don’t see eye to eye.. So how will you get him to notice me?

.

Peter ➡ You’ll wear something to catch his attention. Once he picks you up and takes you to his house.. Do whatever you can to keep him busy.

.

Angelina ➡ Whatever I can.. Even.. ?? ?.

.

Peter ➡ What? No.. Absolutely not.. Don’t even kiss or touch him..

.

Angelina ➡ Okay..

.

Denise ➡ So once he’s occupied, then we’ll call for backup.

.

Peter ➡ Precisely.

.

Denise ➡ This plan of yours is too complex.. Why don’t we bombard and grab the guy today?

.

Peter ➡ Look.. We have to do everything quietly and smartly… Yes it would be easier to catch him but that would draw attention.

.

Denise ➡ The news won’t know about it.

.

Peter ➡ I’m not talking about news.. I’m talking about the station itself. John is the mole but is he the only one? We’re not sure.. So it’s better we trap him in his house and milk Alhaji’s whereabouts from him.

Denise ➡ Okay then… But will your parents allow you to stay out late?

.

Peter ➡ Oh don’t worry.. We’ve figured how to handle them.

.

Denise ➡ Okay then.. Tomorrow night we roll in action.

.

Peter ➡ Okay..

.

Denise ➡ Well, I’m still working.. I’ll be going now.. You can close the door on your way out.

.

Peter ➡ Sure.

.

After that, Denise left the hotel, Angelina and I stayed to rest for a while, in that moment, we heard sensual moans coming from another room and seconds after that smacking sounds followed.

The woman on the other room was moaning out pretty loud begging her man or lover to massacre her.. I felt a bit uncomfortable hearing all this arousing noises as for Angelina, well, she sat still listening to the sounds, she bit her lower lip seductively and her eyes pinpointed at me.

Peter ➡ What?

Angelina ➡ Are you hearing those sounds?

.

Peter ➡ Yeah..

.

Angelina ➡ So what do you think?

.

Peter ➡ Nothing.. Absolutely nothing.. What do you think?

.

Angelina ➡ Well, I see me.. you.. alone.. and a nice soft bed.. Plus lots of sweat and moans.

Peter ➡ Oh yeah!? Let me tell you what I see.. Me.. You.. leaving this hotel right now. Oya let’s go.
