Whew! What a day, Lectures and rehearsals were sure tough, but at least it was fun… Around 7:00pm, We finally rounded our school stuff and went home with Angelina.

And speaking of Angelina, ever since we kissed, we’ve been a little bit sweet on each other, though we’re not an item yet… I would like is to start dating ? but.. My nervousness wouldn’t allow me to ask her out, Angelina however was pushing herself all on to me at once.

So as we headed to the campus gate, we walked side by side, talking to each other about how the day went.

Peter ➡ D--n! Today was intense.. All these rehearsals are very tiring.

Angelina ➡ Oh.. I love the rehearsals, it’s the lecture I can’t stand.

Peter ➡ Well, I prefer the lectures.. Besides why were you so hard on David today?

Angelina ➡ Forget that pompous peacock.. The ape thought that I was his girlfriend.

Peter ➡ Well, aren’t you?

Angelina ➡ No.. Of course we do hang around but we were never an item, besides why should I be with him when I have someone like you ?.

Peter ➡ Okay.. Let’s not rush things… That kiss ? was just… Uhm..

Angelina ➡ It was nice… But it did mean something.

Peter ➡ Yeah.. Do you know my mother was watching while we locked lips?

Angelina ➡ (laughs) What? What did she say? Was she mad?

Peter ➡ No… She wasn’t.. But I wouldn’t want us to be kissing again in front of our parents.. I’m sure your dad wouldn’t be pleased.

Angelina ➡ Yeah.. So how about a date? You and I?

Peter ➡ For real?

Angelina ➡ Uh huh… Let’s go out on our first date as a couple.

Peter ➡ Hold on buddy.. Don’t rush there yet.. And speaking of dates, I’ll handle the bill… You shouldn’t have paid for the snacks at the cafeteria earlier this afternoon.

Angelina ➡ What? You’re ashamed? I don’t mind paying the bills for you.

Peter ➡ I know and I don’t mind.. But you know people.. They’ll start saying unnecessary things… Okay where would you like us to go for our date?

Angelina ➡ Hmm, let’s see.. Wonderland.. I love that place.

Peter ➡ Wonderland? It’s too noisy.. I don’t like the place.. Let’s go to someplace quiet.. Like the bowling alley ?.

Angelina ➡ No! I want to go to wonderland.

Peter ➡ Well, I prefer bowling.

Angelina ➡ Okay buddy.. Let’s do chewing gum – chewing gum.

Peter ➡ Now?

Angelina ➡ Yes.. If I win.. I get to go wonderland if you win.. We’ll go to the bowling alley.

Peter ➡ Sure.. You know I’m good in this game.

Angelina ➡ We’ll see.

Angelina and I did the chewing gum stuff, it was kind of childish but it was a way for us to settle conflicts without having an argument, those long talks always end up in disagreement, and as we did it.. Angelina won…

Angelina ➡ (laughs) ??? Okay buddy.. You’re taking me to wonderland..

Peter ➡ Okay fine.. I have 20k in my account.. So it should be enough..

Angelina ➡ Well, I have 50k, 70k should be enough for us to get into all those amazing rides.

Peter ➡ How in the world did you get 50k? Let me guess.. Sugar daddies?

Angelina ➡ (smiling) Hmm, almost close.. Would like to know how I get the money? I could get some for you if you want?

Peter ➡ No thanks.. I don’t want to know and I don’t want any money.. You should be careful of the men you hang out with.

Angelina ➡ I know, besides I don’t ask for the money.. They give and I collect.. Anything free is good..

Peter ➡ You silly female.. I would love to see the look on your face when your parents find out about your adventures.. I’ll would be watching excitedly with a popcorn ? in hand. (Laughs)

As soon as we both reached the gate, A black GMC jeep parked right next to us, the window of the back car opened and then an ugly face popped out.

Alahji Sule ➡ Angelina, my sweet candy girl.. How are you?

As soon as Angelina saw the man, her face showed displeasure, she then faked a smile and went over to the man.. Who the hell was this ugly toad I asked myself.

Angelina ➡ Evening Alhaji… You look handsome this evening.

Alhaji Sule ➡ I know… My God.. Wallahi every time I see you, I always fall for you.. You look hot..

Angelina ➡ Thanks..

Alhaji Sule ➡ I’ve been calling your number but it’s unreachable.. I’ve missed you.. Come on let’s go and have some fun huh?

Angelina looked at me and then slowly went over to the guy, he opened the door and stretching his arm out to grab her. Before she could get into the car, I pulled her back. Both The Alhaji and Angelina were surprised by what I did.

Alhaji Sule ➡ Kai mallam.. Who are you?

Peter ➡ Peter, Angelina’s brother.. Who are you?

Angelina ➡ (softly) Peter..

Peter ➡ (to Angelina) Shut up!

Alhaji Sule ➡ Oh.. Angelina never told me she has a brother..

Peter ➡ Well, now you know!

Alhaji Sule ➡ Sorry.. We haven’t been properly introduced.. My name is Alhaji Sule, I’m your sister’s eh.. Boyfriend..

Peter ➡ Boyfriend? Are you married?

Alhaji Sule ➡ Uhm… Yes.. But that’s not the issue… I want to take her out..

Peter ➡ Look! Mr man.. You’re wasting your time.. Angelina isn’t going anywhere with you.. Our parents don’t allow us to talk to strangers especially her.. I’m surprised to see she’s going with men old enough to be her father.. So if you don’t mind I would like you to stay away from her… Cause if my father hears about it.. You won’t like it…

Alhaji Sule ➡ She’s a grown woman.. She can do whatever she likes..

Peter ➡ Yeah but she’s still under our parents roof… You wouldn’t like your wife to know about your affairs with my sister.

Alhaji Sule ➡ (angry) Is that a threat?

Peter ➡ No! It’s just a warning to let you know anything can happen.. It would be a shame for a man of your integrity to be seen flirting with girls young enough to be your daughter.. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

The Alhaji kept quiet for a while and then drove off with saying anything.. After he was gone, Angelina began to talk.

Angelina ➡ Wow! Peter.. I never knew you were this…

Peter ➡ Will you shut up?

Angelina ➡ Why are you shouting at me?

Peter ➡ Seriously Angelina! This is the kind of men you’ve been hanging around with.. I’m surprised at you… So this is where you get your extra cash from? .. Your parents would be disappointed.

Angelina ➡ What I do is none of your business.

Peter ➡ Listen to yourself! Are you nuts? Why would you hang out with men like this? The man looks like those that someone that uses girls for money ritual or kidnaps girls to become sl-ts overseas… Supposing your parents saw you with this man, what would you do? You know what your father is capable of, grown woman or not, he’ll thrash you mercilessly.. Do you even think before doing any of this things you’re doing? Have you even thought about how your parents would react if something were to happen to you? This is crazy Angelina, and you know it.. Hate me if you like, but I’m going to tell you the truth. This is stupid.. You have to stop seeing this man or any man before it’s too late.. If anything happens to you, I too wouldn’t be happy about it.. You know what your parents ought to know about this.. Before it gets out of hand.

Angelina ➡ What? You can’t.. Friends don’t snitch on each other.

Peter ➡ In this case.. I have to.. See you back home.

I walked away leaving Angelina behind.. She was pissed of course.. But she knew I was right. She began to follow me steadily keeping a distance between me and her. As soon as we reached home, we bot entered our houses without saying any word to each other..

Back in my room, I sat down thinking about what happened earlier.. I wanted to tell her parents but I wouldn’t want to see Angelina in a sad mood plus her dad would massacre her this night if he knew his daughter was going out with different men. I can’t stand to hear her cry all night.

A bit later, My mother called me down stairs, I went down and saw her together with my dad and Angelina’s parents, they all dressed formally as if they were going to attend some wedding.

Wright ➡ Peter!

Peter ➡ Yes sir..

Wright ➡ Your mother and I together with Angelina’s parents are going on a double date.. We may be old but we can’t stopping loving each other right?

Felix ➡ Absolutely..

Alice ➡ Wright.. Don’t rub it in like that.. Evening Peter.

Peter ➡ Evening ma….

Alice ➡ Hmm, you keep get more charming as you grow..

Peter ➡ (blushing) Thanks.

Jessica ➡ See how you’re swelling his head.. Mr. Man.. You and Angelina are going to take stay here until we get back.. You don’t mind, right Felix?

Angelina walked in looking a bit gloomy, she wore a black tight skin stretch pant and an oversized timberland sweater. This girl.. What ever she wears, she’s always looks good in it.

Angelina ➡ Evening Mr. Wright.. Evening Mrs. Jessica.

Both ➡ Evening Angelina.

Jessica ➡ Okay Angelina.. Keep an eye on this pemu for me.. You know sluggish he is..

Angelina ➡ I will.

Wright ➡ Okay.. Let’s go and one more thing.. No funny business.

Jessica ➡ Oh come on darling.. Nothing will happen.

Alice ➡ Absolutely. What could possibly happen? They’re both like brothers and sister.. Okay kids.. Have fun.

Angelina / Peter ➡ Bye.

After our parents were all gone, Angelina and I sat on the couch with a huge gap between us. We said nothing but kept watching TV. After a while, I went to our fridge and brought out a can of fanta and powerhorse and went back over to the couch, as I sat down, I opened both the cans and handed the one of fanta to Angelina, she stared at can and then looked at me squarely.

Angelina ➡ You know I don’t drink fanta. There’s too much sugar. I need to watch my figure..

Peter ➡ I know.. I’m just playing with you.. Here’s the power horse.

Angelina ➡ Thanks.

Angelina collected it and took a small sip, as we both drank our beverages, Angelina stared at me anxiously.

Peter ➡ What’s with the stare?

Angelina ➡ You didn’t report me to my parents?

Peter ➡ Yeah. Changed my mind.

Angelina ➡ Why?

Peter ➡ (smirking) I couldn’t stand to hear you cry (laughs)

Angelina punched me on the shoulders after that, then she too began to laugh.

Angelina ➡ You almost gave me a heart attack.

Peter ➡ Well, friends don’t snitch on each other right?..

Angelina ➡ Thank you.

Peter ➡ Don’t thank me yet.. But seriously I want you to stop seeing those men.

Angelina ➡ of course…

Peter ➡ For real.. Cause the next time this happens.. Daddy is going to hear what you’re up to…

Angelina ➡ I said I know. Snitch.

Angelina rushed over and climbed on top of my thighs hitting me playfully, we wrestled and laughed for a while, after that, we laid on the couch with Angelina still on top of me..

Angelina ➡ So.. Is our date still on?

Peter ➡ Of course.. Who canceled it?

Angelina ➡ I did.. I thought you were going to report to my parents..

Peter ➡ Well, i didn’t.

Angelina ➡ And I’m grateful for it.. Here’s my appreciation.

Angelina reached down and kissed me romantically.. I was surprised but it doesn’t matter, I balanced my hands on her waist kissing her as well, we kissed for minutes without stop, eventually we stopped staring at each other passionately for a while.

Peter ➡ Angelina…

Angelina ➡ Yes Peter…..

Peter ➡… Never mind.. Let’s just sit down.. Before our parents get back.

Angelina ➡ Okay sure.

After that, we stood up and sat on the couch closely to each other, gradually as I wrapped my hands around her waist as we sat, then shortly Angelina looked into my eyes and then got closer to me giving me another kiss ?.
