Things changed,yes it did change,Since the little occurrence between Ashton and I,I haven’t been my level headed self because the occurrence have been stuck in my head for the whole week.

Don’t get it wrong,we didn’t have sex or anything,we just made out.

Honestly I didn’t know how to feel about all this,I still felt hurt and angry but I still wanted him.

Lame right?

“So are you gonna give me the documents I requested for or you are gonna seat and daydream the whole day” tyler’s voice brought me out of my ‘daydream’.

When did he enter?

“Huh?”

He frowned before sighing. “Really Kim? Really huh?”

“Just cut the crap and say what you want?” I snapped too because he was being so edgy today.

“Give me the file”.

“What file?”

“The construction documents”.

“I haven’t finished working on that” I whined before bringing the said file from my drawer.

“Just give it to me” he said before yanking it from me. “Work on this and please be fast about it we got no f-----g time to waste” he said throwing another file on my table his voice higher than usual.

I scrunched my eyebrows “Really tyler? What’s with you today?”

He grumbled something inaudible. “Bad day Kim. Just a bad day”.

“Stay away from me today please”. I requested.

“I know,I will” he replied before exiting my office.

Everyone has a share of their individual bad days but tyler’s own was worst. Whenever tyler has a bad day he snaps and takes offence with everything.

Just like today.

I didn’t usually take offense whenever he snapped at me like he did just now because I know he is prolly stressed out and he has alot to deal with and he is rarely like that.

That’s how some people deal with certain issues…. people like Tyler.

“So this is it huh?”.

“What?” I asked raising an eyebrow.

“What’s with the cold treatment?” Tyler asked smirking.

“You idiot” I said passing him a cold glare.

“That’s enough,you are over reacting… and I didn’t mean to snap at you”.

“I get it already. Can you leave me alone now?”

“No I can’t”.

“Why?”

“You are still mad at me?”

“No I am not,why would I be? We all have our bad days and yesterday was one of yours. You shouldn’t be apologizing for that” I told him honestly.

“Aww, that’s sweet. But why are you now giving me the cold treatment?”

“I wasn’t” I denied.

“But you were”.

“No ty,I wasn’t”.

“You were”.

“Don’t you have somewhere to be?”

“Now you are chasing me away”. He says feigning annoyance.

“No I am not…I just wanted to know”.

“It still hurts though because you are always begging for my company whenever Charlotte isn’t home and now you just want to get rid of me because of another guy”.

“Really Tyler? What exactly are you talking about?”

“Great,always in denial. I have somewhere to be anyways” he said before flashing me a toothless smile.

“Where are you going?”

“I just discovered you are bipolar. This minute you want me to leave and the next minute you are missing me” he explained.

“I didn’t say I was missing you,just wanted to know where you are off to”.

“Okay,I want to see Alexa”.

“You have a date?”

“Not exactly a date,I am gonna surprise her by picking her up from her working place then we can hangout and do anything else from there” he elaborated.

“That’s so sweet”.

“I Know I am a sweet guy…see what you are pushing away,this hot piece of cake” he said gesturing to himself and I rolled my eyes.

“I know I am. You just can’t keep on denying it” he said not catching the sarcasm in my tone.

“As much as I would have loved to bicker with you all day,I gat to see my baby. She is on afternoon shift and she would be leaving the hospital any moment from now,I gat to be there before she leaves”.

Alexa is a nurse,a really hot nurse for that matter.

“Okay”.

“Just okay? No kiss,no hug? Nothing?”

“Leave now Tyler”.

“And leave you to wallow in loneliness,yes I will since I would be having one of the best nights of my life Tonight”.

“Leave tyler”.

“Tchh, wasn’t about to kiss you anyways” he said rolling his eyes but he stood up anyways.

“I heard that bro”. He said walking down the hall.

“I know you did”. I retorted.

After working, watching a movie and eating dinner. To say I am bored was an understatement,I was more than bored.

Charlotte wasn’t home and no she wasn’t with Ashton,she was with Lucy. She was staying the week at Lucy’s place and she have been so fine since, because Lucy loves her and there was sweet…much sweets..

I gulped down my glass of milk before looking at the clock. It was just 7pm. Really?

I sighed, they weren’t airing any of my favorite shows right now and it really s----d.

I drew the fluffy throw pillow closer before I buried my head on it.

This sucks.

I should probably do some exercises,it have been long I worked out but the work I did was more than a daily work out so there was no problem.

I was about to turn off the television when my phone rang. I scrunched my eyebrows before walking up to where it was,I got more confused when I saw the caller ID. It was Ashton.

Okay,what now?

“Hey Kim” he greeted immediately I picked the call.

“Hey” I said not knowing exactly how to react after the kiss we shared.

Just act normal.

“So are you home?” He asked and I nodded like he could see me.

“Yes,why?”

“I thought you would love to hangout” he said and I gulped.

Was I ready to see him yet,since the kiss occurrence I have been avoiding him and that’s because I couldn’t get him out of my mind and it was not healthy.

I shouldn’t feel like that towards him any longer.

“Are you still there?” He asked .

“Yes” I managed to blurt out.

“So is that a yes? Are you interested in hanging out?” He asked again.

“I don’t think…”

“Okay Kim you are being too uptight,listen I mean no harm and it’s okay if you don’t want to hangout but you have to live a little okay? And I know Charlotte isn’t home so how lonely can it be”.

Hanging out isn’t a bad idea but hanging out with Ashton isn’t exactly a good idea with the sexual tension flying around.

But I was bored to death and the traitor part of me wanted to see him.

At least he wasn’t hanging out with Julia,he wanted to hangout with me.

“So is it a yes or no?” He asked for the uptheenth time.

“You want us to go to a bar or something?” Ashton asked me.

It have been more than an hour that we have been driving around town,going to no where in particular.

‘just hanging out’ according to him and it have been going pretty well,there was no out of topic discussion and I was happy for that.

We haven’t really discussed much and I was glad for that,I guess we were both enjoying the silence and the night breeze.

“A bar is fine” I consented when I remembered I haven’t answered his question.

He drove for about twenty minutes until he pulled up in the parking space of a bar. I was pretty acquainted with this bar because this was the downtown bar that everything started. I didn’t think this was a good decision.

What is he doing.

As if reading my mind he faced me before asking. “Are you okay with this bar?”.

I wasn’t okay with it and I didn’t think this was a good idea any longer but I didn’t want to sound like a weakling that was still hung in the past.

“Of course” I replied before forcing a smile.

“Great, let’s go then”. He said before flashing me a smile that can light up the whole new York City.

Really Kim? Did I just think that?

“A tequila” Ashton told the bar man before he turned to me. “What do you want?”

“A martini diluted with soda please” i replied,I wasn’t about to get drunk on a working night and i didn’t want to get drunk with Ashton either.

That would be a bad idea.

The barman prepared our orders while I looked around the bar. We were currently in the VIP section but that didn’t mean they didn’t do despicable things here either, they were just doing theirs in a more civilized way.

Somethings never change.

It was obvious it was the high classed people that were present here with their flashy and designers clothes guess this is where everyone comes to relax their heads after the daysy activities.

I remember my friends and I coming here but we didn’t get to stay in the VIP section and we never came late at night anyways. The only time I got to stay in the VIP section except from today was the day Ashton brought the idea of the contract.

I remember how I was disgusted by what they were doing but right now I didn’t care less. The bars in the Philippines were worst.

So you know what I mean like they …..

“Here” Ashton said and I turned to take the drink.

“Thank you” I said.

“So you come here often?” I asked him since he looked like a regular face to the people here.

“Not that often. It have been about a year since I came here last but that doesn’t mean they are going to forget my face soon” he joked and we both laughed.

I looked around before sipping my drink,I honestly didn’t know why I was looking around because where we sat was pretty quiet and enclosed. No one was really loitering around there and it was like one of the peaceful corners of the bar. I felt like a teenage girl sitting with her crush.

It was wrong because I wasn’t a teenage girl neither was Ashton my crush so I had to get my shit together.

And I did just that.

“Kim?” Ashton called and I raised an eyebrow.

“Huh?”.

“Were you ever planning to tell me I had a child if I haven’t ran into you?” He asked and I looked away.

Was I?

I would have later let him know he has a child but it wouldn’t have been this soon.

“Yes I would have but that would have been much much later” I replied honestly.

“You never wanted to see me ever again right?” He asked again and this time I didn’t know the reply I could give.

“I don’t think we should be talking about this” I told him.

How did the atmosphere change from playful to tense all of a sudden.

“No,we have to talk about it. We can’t just keep on pushing the topic aside” he insisted and I shook my head.

“I don’t want to talk about…”

“I know you don’t want to but we need to talk about it” he deadpanned.

“Okay,right. Let’s talk about how you used and discarded me,should we?” I asked and something flashed in his eyes.

“Kim I didn’t do that” he said softly.

“Yes you didn’t. Should we talk about how we both spent the night together and you behaved like I was trash the next morning,how you ordered me to leave,how…”

“I was having it really hard then. I didn’t know how to go about it, everything that was happening then was so new to me that I was confused on what to do because I have never felt like that before. That was why I acted that way and I really regret it,I really do”.

“But you didn’t look for me and if you have explained to me then we prolly won’t be like this but hell no,you didn’t do any of that instead you threw me out like I was trash”. I said angrily.

“Kim I did,I looked for you and when I got there it was too late,your neighbor said you haven’t been home for about some days that you already left” he explained.

“I didn’t leave,I was kidnapped” I snapped and his eyes widened.

“You were…kidnapped? By who?”
