“Hey dear,it’s been a while” Lydia said ushering me into her house.

“Yea” I said dryly.

“Here I was thinking you were joking when you said you were coming” she said smiling.

“Why would you think I am joking?” I said trying to sound cheerful but it didn’t work.

“What is it girlfriend?” she asked looking worried with one of her hand on my shoulder.

I was about saying nothing when she cut me off.

“Don’t you dare say nothing, it’s quite obvious that there is something so start talking” she said authoritatively.

I sighed heavily having no other option than to tell her what was going on and I needed someone to talk to.

“You mean your mother in-law is capable of doing all this,an old woman for that matter” she said baffled as I explained everything to her.

‘I am dead serious, now Aziel want me to apologize to her for what I didn’t do”I added.

“Hey,common girl its simple, since your mother in-law started recording and reporting, this is what you will do” she said asking me to come more closer which I did enthusiastically.

“You have got to apologize to her Ayo”she said making me feel more angry.

” I said I would never do that and you are also telling me to apologize “I said finding it unbelievable.

” Calm down babe,you need to do it for peace to reign,your mother in-law started it,show her that two can play the game”she said.

“How?” I asked curiously.

“Apologize to her to the extent that she would be provoked to talk then you make a video recording of it and send to your husband” she said.

“Wow,that is a brilliant idea” I said smiling.

I danced victoriously to the song blaring from the speakers.

I can’t wait for my son to come home and send that girl out of the house.

“Good evening mom” I heard the voice I hate to hear the most.

“what now?” I asked angrily only for her to go on her kneels.

I paused the music playing from the speakers and sat comfortably on a couch.

“What is this drama all about?” I asked disdainfully.

“Am sorry mom,I didn’t mean to be rude to you, am sorry for my foolishness” she said lowly.

“Of course you are foolish,you have not sewn anything, by the time am done with you ,you will be out of this place”

“And you think my son will always side you,I am his mother and I knew he would fall once he hears me cry,fool” I said.

“I only wanted to tell you how sorry I am” she said going into her room.
