It have been three days since Julia left this place and I couldn’t help but wonder what they were going to do to me.

I don’t know why she didn’t believe me when I said everything between Ashton and I were planned. I wonder why she didn’t believe and if she let me go I was never going to come back to NYC,I was gonna leave this place for good. She should just let me go first.

I know it was stupid to tell her I was expecting a baby but I didn’t feel that way. I wanted to tell her that probably because if she knows I am expecting a baby she was gonna leave me alone for good and moreover I haven’t told Ashton yet,she won’t tell him right? She can’t. She would probably let me go after all this.

Which baby can survive in this condition?

I hope my baby would.

I felt betrayed when she told me about Brenda but I was kinda expecting that. It shocked me no doubt but some people never change,I knew Brenda was still mad at me concerning the Ashton’s issue because her actions showed it but I didn’t expect her to go that far. Brenda have always been the desperate one so it isn’t a new thing but I still felt betrayed. Everyone would be,you can’t always trust people. We are all prone to mistakes and temptation but she went really far and I hope I never see her again. Never.

I heard the shuffling of keys and locks so I looked up on impulse,there was a shadow lurking at the door and the person strolled inside after unlocking the door.

It was that young guy,till today I don’t still know his name. Since the little talk I had with him that didn’t go well he haven’t been here since then so I was wondering why he came hee today.

“Here” he said dropping a cup in front of me.

“What’s that?” I asked.

“Water…” He trailed off.

I peeped into the liquid in the cup,this was not water. This guy can’t be plotting to kill me right? I thought he pitied me. But what do I know?

I shook my head even though another migraine immediately attacked the other side of my head and I groaned loudly. “This is not water” i told him peeping at the cup again before I looked at him and he diverted his eyes looking everywhere but me.

“What is this?” I asked.

“Hmm,it is water but I might have added something to it” he said and I gasped.

“You don’t want to kill me do you?” I asked again and he shook his head immediately.

“Not that” he paused “I won’t do that”

“Then why did you add something to the water?”

“I didn’t add anything toxic to the water,I might have added some stuff…good stuffs actually”. He said.

“Good stuffs? What exactly?”

For all I care, nothing was good around here.

“Hmm…you know you haven’t really taken anything for days so I kinda added something to you know ..keep you awake because you might pass out it you continue like this” he paused when he looked at the expression on my face “believe me,it isn’t something toxic. I just wanted to help” he ran his hands through his hair nervously “I swear on my life it isn’t anything toxic. I can take part of it if you want”.

He was used to things like this so he could still take it without any effect whatsoever but I wasn’t used to things like this at all.

“I won’t still take it” I told him.

I couldn’t just trust anyone,I know where trusting people have led me to . I couldn’t even trust him,for all I know they might have sent him to poison me and the fact that he haven’t been here for about five days now and he just comes out of the blue to give me a drink with something I don’t know added to it and he even lied that it was water and he was even nervous.

The guy still showed emotions and he was like an open book unlike the rest that was how it was easy to know he was obviously inexperienced.

“You won’t? I am only tryna help you” he persisted.

“I am not thirsty” I said even I myself knows that I was lying.

I was really thirsty but I don’t just trust them enough to take anything from them.

“Fine” he huffed before picking the cup and drowning the liquid in one gulp. I looked at him as his throat bubbled and I was honestly waiting for him to behave strangely after few minutes but he was still normal.

That’s because he was probably used to things like this.

“You see, there was nothing in there” he told me and I just stared at him.

I didn’t regret not drinking it.

“Can you help me loosen this chains a little” I said softly stretching my limp legs to him and he looked at me like he was thinking of something.

God don’t let him snap.

Please I beg you.

“Does it hurts that much?” He asked looking at me thoughtfully and I nodded immediately. “I might get into trouble if I do this” he murmured to himself but I still heard.

“Please,you can help me loosen it a little,just a…” My sentence was cut short when the door slide open an three figures strolled inside.

“What the f--k are you doing here Rico,I f-----g told you to get the car ready” Rodrigo roared.

“I already did that” the Rico guy replied.

So his name was Rico? Rico?

“What the f--k are you doing here anyways? I didn’t remember asking you to come here” he said smacking the guy at the back of his head .

“I just wanted to give the…”

“Don’t waste your time on stupid things. Go and re_park the car we are leaving now and I got no time to waste” he interjected and the Rico guy strolled out of the room immediately.

“Untie the lady” he instructed the two guys and they came forward immediately.

I hope they were finally gonna let me go now. I flinched when those guys roughly handled my sore hands and legs. I doubt if I would be able to work with this legs.

“Let’s go” he instructed and they dragged me along with them.

The Ride to God knows where was unpleasant,here I was thinking they wanted to release me. I don’t know this countryside but where do I know exactly?

After asking them to tell me where we are going countless times the only time I got a reply was when Rodrigo pointed his gun at me to shut me up. I shut up immediately.

We were four in the car that reeked of cigarettes. There was Rodrigo,the Rico guy, another nameless guy and i.

I was yanked out of my short nap by a rough hit on my shoulder and I mentally scolded myself for falling asleep in this situation. But it wasn’t my fault.

I looked around the area where the car already stopped,it was kinda deserted. No houses but there was bushes or may I say a farm that looks cultivated and there was a cliff.

What were we doing here?

“Are you gonna bring her down or you are gonna stay there and puff your cigarettes?” Rodrigo asked the guy beside me and he dropped his cigarettes before yanking me away from the seat.

After walking or may I say after me limping and the guy dragging me with Rodrigo leading the way and the Rico guy for what seems like minutes we eventually stopped.

I looked around the place again,it was still silent and i can’t even see anyone here.

They were really dangerous if they knew a place like this. Is this where they kill people? They kill people in their building too because I was so sure of it.

They wouldn’t want to do that to me right?

“Julia?” I heard Rodrigo ask over the phone.

Was it Julia that said they should bring me here? Of course she was the one.. she probably wanted me to find my way from here,it wouldn’t be easy but I would find my way or…

“Are you on your way already? We are already here with the lady” he said again,she said something and he groaned. “I have told you thousands of times already that I don’t like change of plans during the last minute” he said walking to where we stood we all could hear their conversation now.

“I am sorry about that” she apologized.

“What are we gonna do now?”

“Where exactly are you guys?” She asked again

“We are at the address you gave to us”. He grumbled. “What are we doing now? I have no time to waste,I have to be somewhere” he snapped.

“Throw her off the cliff” she said and all the color drained from my face.

Me? Off the cliff?.

?????.

Rodrigo left minutes after Julia gave him the command not without telling the boys to do a good job or they were gonna regret it.

I didn’t want to end my life this way and never have I imagined I would die from a push with a child in my stomach.

“What are we waiting for? The boss already gave his command” the other guy said puffing smoke from his mouth.

“You don’t mean we are gonna do this right?” Rico asked.

“Do what! Throw her off the cliff? Were you deaf when the boss said we should do that?” The other guy snapped.

“But we can’t f-----g do this. This isn’t right?”

The guy laughed “right? When do you begin to care whether what you did is right or wrong?”

“I don’t know. But this isn’t right,we can’t just throw her off the cliff like that. She is carrying a baby dude”

“Who f-----g cares about that huh? We were given a task and we have to carry it out perfectly, when you knew you had a problem with this you should have talked about it to the boss and see if you wouldn’t have been shot in the eye. What the f--k is wrong with you? Man up idiot” the guy scolded.

“But we still can’t do it. If she is the only one is a different case but she is carrying a baby,we can’t just end two or more lives this way”.

“You are high on something right? Because I clearly don’t see how this is any of your business. We have been f-----g paid to eliminate her and we have to finish our side of the bargain you can’t just grow soft overnight. Her or whatever she is carrying is none of your f-----g business”.

“I can’t do this. I can’t ”

“You are backing away from this simple task now I know why you can never carry out a simple task. What is wrong with you huh?”

“My girlfriend lost a baby and I know how hard it was for her. It isn’t a good feeling at all so you need to imagine what this lady is going through. My girlfriend left me because of that”.

“Don’t f-----g mix business with your private issues. That was your girlfriend,but this is someone you don’t know at all. Leave my way dude or I might just shoot you. Stay away and watch” he commanded with a dangerous edge to his voice.

He came closer to me and I moved back on impulse “you are just being f-----g stupid because you can’t go anywhere” the guy said.

I can’t survive if I am thrown off the cliff,this is complete wickedness.

“Please,I beg you don’t do this to me please” I pleaded.

“Dude I f-----g told you to stay out of this huh? What the f--k is wrong with you? You are pissing me off imma just shoot you right now” he threatened when the Rico guy came closer.

“Don’t do that bro. We can’t do this”.

“I f-----g told you to stay out huh? Didn’t I? We can’t throw her off the cliff but we can’t leave her this Way either because the boss is gonna find out and we would be killed instead and I can’t risk that”. He said.

“But we..”

“F-----g stay out of this man” he snapped coming closer to me before he brought out his gun.

“Please don’t do this”. I begged “please”.

“I am sorry” he said aiming the gun at me “have a nice after life” he muttered before firing the gun and the bullet hit my shoulder.

I fell down immediately before grasping my bloodied shoulder and everything was becoming blurry and blank I was finding it hard to keep my eyes open.

“What do you do that for man?”. A panicked voice said .

“Let’s get out of here idiot” I heard another voice said and there was distant shuffling of feet on the grass and everything went blank.
