It was monday again and Felix went to work, but he spent his friday, saturday recupetating after the kitchen fight and went to church on sunday.

Yo what’s up , jordan greeted, shaking felix hand.

I’m good, felix said.

Guys, guess what, tunde said arriving with purity.

What, felix and jordan said in unison.

Solomon resigned, purity interjected tunde.

What, Felix asked in surprised.

No fair, i wanted to tell them, tunde said childishly.

OK, am sorry, purity apologized.

But why did he resign,he is payed more than us, Jordan said in surprised.

Beats me, maybe he has seen a higher paying job, tunde thoughtfully said.

Jordan, we will be working hand in hand from now on, tunde cheerfully said.

About that we are to meet with the director like now, tunde added checking his wrist watch and dragged Jordan.

Purity got to her desk near the window and sat on her chair and Felix followed behind her and was about to talk to her but his eyes shifted to the window behind purity.

He saw a rocket released from a rocket launcher heading straight for the daily planet.

He quickly dashed to purity side, grabbed her and dived far away from the window.

Boom was the sound heard after the rocket came in contact with the window shattering and two more explosion rocked the daily planet.

Felix slowly stood up after covering purity with his body, little piece of glasses falling from his body but he could barely hear, a ringingringing sound reverberaterd in his ears.

O my God, purity exclaimed holding her mouth after she stood up, seeing the dead bodies of some staffs of the daily planet.

Felix could feel vibrations on the floor .

This structure is about to collapse,felix yelled and a some parts of the building collapsed on some staffs.

Knowing fully well the stairs were out of question, Felix took out pebbles and threw it at a wall, a hole was created in the wall, some staffs tried following the hole to reach down but some gunmen wearing red and black shot sporadically at the hole and the staffs died.

Felix moved away from the wall and went to purity side.

It is okay, felix said calming the hyper ventilating purity.

Everything is not okay, purity sobbed crying and more part of the building kept on falling.

It is soon going to be ok, felix said.

We are in the fifth floor, taking the elevator is out of question, the stairs too, so we are going to … Felix couldn’t finish his sentence before a grenade was thrown through the hole he created with the pebbles.

Felix quickly left purity, ran to where the grenade was and kick it to the nearest wall.

Boom, another hole was created.

Felix quickly ripped of the shirts from the dead staff and his own to make a rope.

He attached the rope to one of the crumbled side of the building.

The gunmen went to the side of purity and felix saw them coming down from the fifth floor through a rope then the opened fire.
