The doctor walked out and we looked at him waiting for answers.

“How was it” Nanny asked expectantly.

“I am sorry , she loses a lot of blood but miraculously, the babies are fine ”

“Babies??? ” I asked confused.

“Actually they are twins ” He said.

“Twins, how come “Nanny asked still shocked.

“I was surprised also”

“Ok what we going to do ” I asked overwhelmed with happiness.

“She needs blood ”

“Can I give her blood ” I cuts in.

“Yes because your blood group is universal ”

“OK start it right away ”

After the blood transfusion , I became weak and I was advised to rest a little bit before going to her ward because I have been so eager to see her.

After the rest, I walk to her room and I met her still sleeping on the bed sleeping peacefully ,she look so beautiful but pale.

I sat beside her and squeeze her hand lovingly, I tuck the strands of hair moving carelessly on her face and tuck it behind her ears.

Soon she opened her eyes and I beamed happily, she looked around confusingly wondering where she is, soon her eyes land on me and she gulped.

“Hi” I said calmly.

“How are you feeling ” I asked further.

“Fine” she stuttered and I sighed, she is still scared of me.

“Roxanne I am so sorry, for everything ”

I begged and took her hand in mine and she slipped her hands away slowly.

“I am sorry forgive me ” I asked and she sighed.

“Do you think you deserve forgiveness from me with all you’ve made me went through” She asked and tears stream down her cheeks slowly.

“I am sorry ” I begged.

“I was blinded with revenge ”

“I am sorry, it’s over between us. ”
