He walked out of the room and I cuddle my legs to my chest and whimpered painfully.

I rubbed my tummy and burst into tears.

I hope you are safe.

I cried and thought about everything, why did my life becomes this worse, so messed up and complicated.

Suffering for what I knew nothing of, being raped and abused every night, pregnant for a devil who has never for once accepted that he is the father of the baby.

Oh God!, I am ruined totally.

A man entered the room and I took a glance at his dressing and he is guard.

I shifted back in fear thinking that he might hurt me.

He removed his mask and his face looks familiar.

Oh my God!!!, I knew him from Manilla where I am Nancy went to attend to an official meeting on behalf of the company and that was about nine months ago.

Flashback……..

We were in the car driving and listening to music when a young girl after about eight years old ran to the car not caring maybe it was an express.

Thank God I am a careful driver, I would have hit her.

I step down from the car immediately and ran to the girl and pulled her away from the road and I bend to her level.

She is a very beautiful girl with her cute and full eyes lashes batting as she whines.

“Why did you cross the road like that ”

“I am sorry MA I am hungry and mum did not give me food ”

She said pouting and I smiled.

I was in my still in my reverie when a small petite woman yell her name and she jumped on me immediately.

“Did you want to kill me huh, I told you I am not buoyant enough for now”

She said almost broken down and I smiled.

“Hello ma” I said in a sweet tone ”

“Hello hope she did not fussed you any trouble “she asked warmly and I shook my head.

Then his dad I assume came to the scene and she pulled away from me and jumped on him giggling.

“How was your day princess ” He cooed.

“It was fine dad”

“Your daughter almost cause trouble for this lady.

“I am sorry forgive her ”

“It’s fine sir, I will be back ”

I said and walk to the car and opened the door and bring out my purse inside my bag.

“Another charity again ” she asked and I rolled my eyes.

I bring out a very expensive necklace which cost thousands of dollars.

She looked shocked.

“Don’t tell me you are giving them this ”

“I am giving it out already ” I said and she groaned and I chuckled.

I walk to them and hand her the chain and she gasped .

“Selling this, it costs a lot ” I said and the mother jumped on me immediately and I laughed.

“it’s fine ”

I said and the man almost postrate but I stopped him.

“I have to go now, bye princess ” I waved at her and she yelled in her tiny sweet voice.

“Bye auntie ” I waved back and entered the car.

Present………

I gasped in shock and I looked at him beady eyed.

I tried to talk but words refused to come out.

“I understand but this is not the time to talk now We have to escape now I have called your husband and he will be at the junction soon ”

Escape!!!, Does that mean I will be free.

“Let’s go ma’am we are running out of time ” He said impatiently and I stand up quickly and he threw me a cardigan to cover my body .

He open the door and looked around to check no one i in sight and thankfully no one is there and we walked cautiously passing through different doors and hallway.

Soon we are at the living room and we met two boys playing cards.

They sight us and they were shocked he was with me.

They were about to talk and he pulled out a gun and shot them.

It was an automatic silencer though.

Soon we are at the gate and he kept shooting everyone we came across and I grew so scared.

He open the gate but he looked back and there were a lot of boys with guns chasing us and I got more scared.

“Run ” He said but I couldn’t run well because of the pains all over my body and my condition.

“I can’t ” I said painfully trying to run more fastly and the guys were getting more and more closer.

We kept running and a bullet hit me at my back and I screamed in pain.

He quickly carried me and run more fastly with all his might and I am beginning to get more and more weaker in his arms.

“Roxanne if I died trying to save you, then I knew I tried my best” He said tearfully and in deep breaths.

“Try to forgive Damon, he was blinded by revenge, your Dad is not the killer, he was mistaken but please try to forgive him”

He said and I close my eyes remembering the pains I went through by him, the night he forcefully took my innocence, the rapings,tauntings, physical abuse.So my Dad is not the killer, I am just suffering for what I knew nothing about.

Despite him being a fast runner, we left the boys and soon we got to the junction and drop me on the floor.

“Roxanne I don’t know when we will meet but I am coming back for you”

He said and pecked me slowly and ran away to a dark corner.

I tried calling him but the pains and agony Ill felt swallow my voice.

Soon different flashy cars drive to the place and one of the doors opened and Damon ran out immediately.

“D.. a… m.. o.. n” I stuttered and he pulled me to his chest.

“l am sorry” he said and burst into tears while I passed out slowly in his arms.

“Roxanne ” He yelled my name but it seems far away.
