i twisted my head at angle 180 degree with my heart bout to melt.

Ade what are you still doing in school by this time? I found myself asking forgotten that i am also a student like him. Waiting for you of course. He replied. Hi happiness. I’m good and you? happiness replied. So here i am can we start moving? i asked.

We moved out of the school compound and we waved down two motorcycles. Adex and I jumped one one while happiness jumped on the other one.

I paid both rider and hapi boarded a taxi going towards her side. Immediately happiness left adex started praising me……………..

We got home very week and tired.

At 7:30pm “swear it again” by westlife voiced out of my phone. I check the screen and debby’s picture was largely displayed on it. Helo dear i saluted. I, how are you she replied . Am good and you? Same. Wow! I was so surprised when i see that you are the one calling me. I said. Y? She asked. You call only the first day of a new month. Haha..its not like that. Just that i don’t usually have time….let’s leave that aside. Why don’t you ask me about my reply for your request? She asked me. I did not want you too feel like I’m forcing you into a relationship i replied. Okay o.. I have thought about your request and decided to give you the answer tonight. So what is my fate? I inquired. I will give you my heart if only you promise me that you will not betray me. I do? I answered without giving it a second thought. So? We are now the newest youngest couple in town(i wonder who joined us together). Happy will be an understatement considering what i felt in me that time. I have to go now she announced and end the call. I locked myself up in my room and started playing westlife greatest hit album “coast to coast” on my deck and “Mandy” one of my favourite track was on. I woke up at 1:16am the next day with my stomach shouting for help(i think they are in need of stone to generate power) the album was still playing on(is either i put it on repeat of the NEPA cut the circuit and restored it back) now it was FOOL AGAIN playing. I make my way to dining room and found my food as cold as a dog nose lying there helplessly. I put it in the microwave.

7:15am at the assembly ground.

After the national anthem and national pledge. Announcement followed which we were all informed about the date for the third term examination..just two weeks left. All students shout in disagreement to the date. ADELEKE JULIUS. Is that not my name? I asked the boy at my back. No it’s mine he replied. ADELEKE JULIUS. Is he not on the assembly? I am here sir i replied. Mr. Ojo want to see you immediately after the assembly. Okay sir..i replied. Okpara Happiness, present sir she answered. Mrs. Alade need your attention too….
