It’s another day,it’s time to work,what work,my Hawking job of course,isn’t it a work,as far as I don’t steal and I don’t go into prostitution,then it’s fine

Buy galaaaa,I hawked with my sweet voice just then a car parked by ,the wind screen was whined down and here I saw a lady and a guy ,the lady was sitting at the passenger seat while the guy was sitting at the driver’s seat

“How much is your gala ” the guy asked as he stretched his hand forward

It’s #50 naira sir

“Okay come over here” the lady said

I swift to her side

“Let me ee,she turned to face me and stretched her neck inside the carton of gala I was holding”

The next thing I heard was a slap on my cheek,what happen,what have I done,I rubbed my cheek along with the question

“How dare you talk to my husband” she fired back and the car zoomed off throwing a thousand naira note at me,is this supposed to be a compensation of the slap or what ,I stare at the thousand naira note on a spot and watched the car till it’s out of sight

Good evening house

I said as I entered the house

“Welcome ,Eri ,how was sales today’s ” Ayo’ voice came from the bathroom

Sales was fine but Ayo you need to hear something

“Okay hold on ,am coming”

Ayo came out after 5 minute and sat on the bed

“What’s wrong,you look sad ,did you lost money”

No,I didn’t lost money ,but someone did something to me today

“What did they do,talk to me Eri and stop crying”

I couldn’t help my tears,it flows freely from my eyes and roll down my cheeks

“Talk to me Eriola” Ayo moved closer to me holding my head tight to her chest

A lady slapped me for no reason

“What happen”

I don’t know but I guess it was because she was rich

“Ohh, that’s rich people for you,they don’t consider the poor”

Are they God

“They are not God but they act like God gave them the world ”

It’s not suppose to be,isn’t it the same God that created us

“I believe we were all created by the same God but they act like they were created by another God ”

But why was my own life like this,I thought we were born the same way

“That was a mistake,some were born through cesarian section while some were born normally through the woman part”

All my life has been from sadness to sadness,there is no full day of laughter,it’s either 1-0 or 0-1 if I laugh in the morning ,it’s not certain that I would laugh in the night

“It’s okay,Eri stop crying,have prepare your food,let me goan bring it ”

Am not eating

“Hey lady,mama,that I won’t tolerate”

I was made to smile by Ayo calling me mama,I mean she sounds funny whenever she calls me that

I can’t stop thinking about what Eri told me,like a lady slapped a lady like her for nothing,isn’t that crazy to hear.

One thing have always Wonder is the work of God

I mean He created everything in words and opposite

He created the male and the female

Happiness and sadness

Success and failure

One thing that baffle me the more is this bitterleaf and sugar cane issue,I mean they were both watered by the same rain but they have different function and taste, bitterness and sweetness
