He promised to start taking care of Esther and paying her bills. I wanted to object but Raymond pleaded with me to let him do it if that will make him feel better. I had no choice but to let him do but Esther remained with the Ajakayes because I couldn’t trust him with my daughter.

My pregnancy completed nine months and I was delivered of a beautiful baby girl.

Raymond’s joy knew no bounds as he had always wanted a baby girl. He couldn’t stop staring at her which almost made me jealous. On the eighth day, she was named EbunOluwa, Marvelous, Ajakaye.

When my daughter became one month old, I decided to go back to Lagos to visit Kate’s parents. coolval stories To see how they were doing and appreciate all they ever did for me. I informed Raymond of my plan and we chose a weekend which we would travel down to Lagos.

The weekend came and all of us set out. We took Esther along with us. We got to Lagos very late at night so we decided to lodge in a hotel. Very early the following morning, we continued our journey to the Pastor’s residence.

Getting to their residence, I was so surprised to see everything unchanged. We were ushered into the house by the gateman. Upon entering the house, I was surprised to see Kate in a wheelchair but she didn’t recognize me.

After we sat down for some minutes, the maid came with the Pastor and his wife. It was so surprising that they couldn’t recognize me so I had to introduce myself. Immediately they heard my name, they ran to embrace me.

They couldn’t stop apologizing for the mistake they made by sending me out of their lives. Pastor’s wife almost went on her knees but I quickly stopped her. She couldn’t stop carrying my children especially EbunOluwa.

Curiosity got a better part of me and I asked what led to Kate’s situation and her mom suddenly burst into tears while her Dad just shakes his head. While waiting for someone to give me an answer, Raphael suddenly walked in and gave me the answer I needed. He came to give Kate divorce papers to sign, he was surprised to see me after several years.

Raphael: Debby???
