Things may have gone well for Sadiq and Jasmine but the same can not be said for Marida, as it is soon going to be in a state of peril and chaos.

Deep inside the desert, The evil sorceress Laila goes berserk with rage and agitation, after finding out both father and son are dead, She screams out loud showing her displeasure, Her voice echoes in the cave making it to tremble a little, Her minions or rather children, the Djjins, crumble in fear hearing their mistress yell in anger..

After a while, She summons one of her minions to serve her a drink, The abominable creatures hurries to get what she asked for.. Moments later, a shout of pain was heard from within, after that, the beast hurries with a golden cup which was filled with the blood of one of their female prisoners..

Laila collects the cup and drain its content down her throat, the sound of her throat swallowing the blood was heard and it sent shivers down to the back of her minions, After she’s done drinking… She throws the cup and summons her messenger!

Laila Tell me… Are you sure the king is dead?

Ghost Demon Yes my queen! Both the sultan and the young prince are dead…

Laila So what happened!?

Ghost demon It was a conspiracy! The Sultan’s wives and the kings trusted council plotted everything.. Now they control Marida..

Laila Control!? Marida is mine… I built that empire… I made that city to be the shining star above all else.. I won’t let some mortal filth take whats mine..! It’s time I claim my prize….

Laila stands up and shouts out loud, her voice stirs up all of her minions, making them to assemble like soldiers ready for war.. Immediately they all assemble, Laila commands them all to match and conquer Marida… All of the creatures shout, jubilating as they prepare to go to war, all of them prepare them taking all sorts of weapons, Laila casts a spell on her body making herself a body of armor, She comes down from her throne looking deadly and vicious, Her minions divide making a path for her, Laila walks majestically, looking at them all one by one, as she reaches in front of them, She takes a small dagger from her armor and cuts her hand with it.. Her blood drains down on the ground, the blood quickly sinks down into the ground and shortly after that, something happens..

The ground starts to shake and giant lizards big enough to swallow an elephant emerge from underneath the ground, Laila laughs at her handy work, enjoying the spectacle..

More than 500 giant lizards appear on the surface, Laila and her minions mount on them and ride out of the cave, The giants leap out of the cave, straight into the sandy deserts, Laila and her minions charge and head straight towards the direction of Marida..

Time is running out on the people of Marida, the odds against them is far to great and they being unaware of this threat have no chance against this army of evil.

Meanwhile back at Marida, There’s a commotion rising, While the search of Sadiq and jasmine is still on, The palace is having its dispute on who’s going to become next Sultan. Both men, the Vizier and the chief advisor side with each of their lover queens and the rivalry for power begins, The once united evil schemers have now become bitter enemies, each fighting his way to the top for their son to the throne.

Here in the court room, the council and king makers argue over which prince should be crowned the next Sultan of Marida…. Some of the council side with Abdul agreeing Hamid should be the next Sultan while the other side with Karim for Hassan to be the next sultan.

Abdul Hamid, should be the next Sultan.. He has the qualities of a great ruler… Hassan is just nothing but a hot tempered fellow.

Karim Look, who’s talking? Hassan is the rightful heir to the throne… He’s the first born and it’s in his due right to claim that throne… And speaking of great qualities of a ruler, Hamid is too meek to be a Sultan.. This kingdom doesn’t need a soft headed Buffoon.. What this kingdom needs is a strong and capable ruler, and hassan Is the right person for that…

King maker 1 Enough….. Things are getting out of hand here… We don’t want this to result to some kind of conflict…

King maker 2 Since it’s hard to choose between the two princes… We’ll have to wait and observe them…

Karim Observe!? What’s the meaning of this? Are we going to abandon the customs of this kingdom over some observation… It’s been like that for centuries… The first born gets to be the next Sultan after his predecessor has died! And hassan is entitled to that heir… If we don’t follow the customs, then I assure you, there will be conflict… The only way to resolve this is to do what is right…. Think about it.

After that, The kingmakers keep quiet for a while thinking about what Karim and and it made sense… Abdul fearing that, this may not turn out well, decides to convince the kingmakers into putting their favour on Hamid.

Abdul There’s nothing wrong in following customs.. But there’s also nothing wrong in putting the right heir to the throne.. Someone who could run this kingdom and someone who could pave way for a better future.

King maker 1 So you’re saying Hassan can’t run this kingdom?

Abdul Yes…

Karim What’s your proof?

King maker 2 Enough! Vizier, your statement doesn’t make sense.. Hassan’s hot temper doesn’t make him unfit for becoming Sultan, unless you have something to prove that he’s not worthy of being Sultan, we’d all like to hear it.

Abdul keeps quiet and looks at Karim, He wanted to tell the king makers Karim’s secret, but the problem was if he did that, his own secret would be out and if that happens, Chaos would definitely break out. So seeing there was nothing he could do, He kept quiet. The king makers then made their decision.

King maker 1 Alright, Now since there’s nothing to add, we’ve come to our decision… By the law and custom of Marida.. Hassan will be the next sultan.. He’ll be crowned by tomorrow in the morning ..

Abdul WHAT???

King maker 1 Is there a problem Vizier?

Karim Its seems he’s displeased…. Better be careful vizier.. Anything acts of yours may be considered a treason… Its best you behave…

Abdul boils in anger and walks out of the court room, immediately he leaves Karim decides to use this act to his own advantage.

Karim That man I don’t trust him.. He’s hiding something. He may plan to sabotage this coronation.

King maker 2 Don’t worry.. Anything that happens to Hassan will be on his head.. He has clearly shown he’s against the new Sultan. If he tries any dirty tricks.. He’ll be dealt with.

Karim smiles at this, knowing that nothing would stand in their way.. His plan has finally succeeded, his son is the sultan and power is now in their hands..

Meanwhile, Abdul after leaving the court room goes to meet Queen Aisha and tells her of the unpleasant news.. Upon hearing that her com mate’s son is now the new Sultan, she loses her cool.

Aisha Impossible!? That wh*re’s son is the sultan… I won’t accept this… How could you let this happen? I thought you had everything worked out?

Abdul Karim persuades the old fools about respecting customs.. I wanted to expose the b*stard’s secret but that would affect us too badly…

Aisha So what do we do now?

Abdul We have to wait and see… Anything we do now will be hanged on our necks. Its better we..

Aisha Are you suggesting we do nothing?

Abdul No… We’ll wait for an opportunity.. And then we’ll strike.. I promise you.. That boy won’t last long with that crown on his head..

Here in Saudat’s chamber.. Hassan, his mother and Karim rejoice over their good fortunes..

Saudat Oh.. My son.. Finally, you’re the Sultan… Greatness awaits you..

Hassan Most definitely… The world will acknowledge me.. My reign will be supreme..

Karim Absolutely Hassan, the world will…

Hassan What did you just call me? Who do you think you are, you old fart!? I’m your Sultan.. Don’t you dare address with my name! Else I’ll have your tongue put out.

Karim Apologies, your highness… It won’t happen again…

Hassan Good! Now mother if you’ll excuse me.. I’d like go out and see my beloved Salima.. I must let her know the good news.

After Hassan leaves the room, Karim confronts Saudat about Hassan’s behavior.

Karim What insolence? If it weren’t for me.. He wouldn’t have been the Sultan.

Saudat Relax my love.. In time he’ll know..

Karim Will he accept me as his real father?

Saudat That doesn’t matter.. What matters is our son is the Sultan, your bloodline will rule this kingdom till the end of time..

Things are certainly going great for Hassan but as for Hamid not so much… While he was at Faidh’s household having a romantic and intimate moment with Faidh’s daughter, Arza, the news of his Brother’s coronation turned things around for him in a negative way..

After Hamid cums inside her, He gets off from her and lies down next to her breathing hard.. After resting for a while, Hamid cuddles Arza in his arms.

Before she could finish her statement… Dijal bursts into the room, interrupting them both.. He boils with jealousy as he sees both Hamid and Arza in each other’s arms.. Hamid lashes out at him for coming in unexpectedly like that..

Hamid You dog!.. What’s wrong with you? Have you gone mad?

Dijal Sorry, my prince.. I wasn’t aware you were busy!

Hamid What brings you here?

Dijal Your brother’s been crowned the next Sultan, I was told to come fetch you…

Upon hearing that, Hamid feels shocked and dismayed.. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing.. Arza who was next to him, also feel disappointed.. Out of annoyance, She moves away from Hamid abs curses under her breath. Hamid looks at her and asks what’s wrong.

Hamid What’s wrong with you, Arza?

Arza What’s wrong? This is what is wrong! Your brother is sultan not you.. I can’t believe it..

Hamid So what are you saying?

Arza I was promised that I would marry a Sultan… And as far as I’m concerned.. The thing we had between us is gone..

Hamid slaps Arza out of anger, He curses her as he wears his clothes… Dijal watches without saying anything… After he’s done dressing, Hamid leaves the room leaving both Dijal and Hamid in the room, Arza covers her body and goes to Dijal.
