Start from the beginning  “Alex, aren’t you going to work today?” I asked him. “Nope, I’m accompanying my little sis to the news channel studio for her interview.” He grinned. “Oh my god, you got me the interview!” I squealed and tackled him with a hug. “Yep, thanks to dad’s connections.” He chuckled. “I better change after breakfast then.” I ate quickly and ran upstairs to change out of my tights and t-shirt. I decided to go with a cozy, cute dress that I had. It was really soft and the color matched my eyes. (A/N: Dress at top) I paired the dress with my owl necklace and of course, my everyday silver, heart- shaped locket. I went downstairs and waited for Alex, who was grabbing his wallet, coat, and keys. “You ready?” He asked. “Ready as I’l ever be.” I smiled nervously. “You’ll be great Heather. Show the world who you really are.” Stephanie hugged me “She’s right. Show the world that beautiful soul and expose William’s rotting one.” Andrew hugged me as well and I laughed at that. “We’ll be watching you.” my mom said. She and my dad hugged me, and we left. The TV studio was about a fifteen minute drive from home and I could feel my pulse accelerating as we approached the building. After Alex parked, we walked inside the lobby, where the receptionist instructed us to the third floor. “Ah, Heather Solace. Welcome, Welcome! Have a seat on the couch. We will be starting the interview shortly. My name is Katy Johnson and I’m the host.” A blonde woman said to me as she approached me. She looked to be in her mid-thirties and had kind, warm hazel eyes. “Oh well, at least she isn’t grumpy and mean.” I thought. I smiled at her and shook her hand. “Nice to meet you, Mrs. Johnson.” She grinned, and showed me the filming area where there was a couch and a chair in front of it, which was probably where she would sit. We took our seats and Alex stood behind the cameras. “We’re live in three, two, ONE!” The cameraman whispered loudly. “Hello my lovely audience and welcome to our news channel today! We have a very special guest in our studio, Heather Solace, who is here today to talk about her husband’s statement from yesterday. But before she speaks, let’s have a replay shall we?” Katy said to the viewers. They played the video of William talking from yesterday. She turned to me. “So Mrs. Solace, what are your feelings or thoughts on your husband’s comments and accusations?” I smiled. “First off, please call me Heather. Secondly, I would like to address the last accusation he made, which is my main concern at this point, the children’s shelter. I’m wondering how he could call it a dump, when he knows that many people have found it satisfactory and very safe! He himself has visited the shelter with me, and I didn’t hear any concern for the foundation of the building and the way we run it. Which prompts me to believe that he just said that to cause unnecessary concern in the community. If anyone doesn’t believe me, they can visit the shelter on Alms Street and check it out for themselves. I have no problem with it, and I’ve already asked the kids if they would be okay with it, and they are. I also have paperwork that certifies that the building is secure and stable, so that is definitely not a worry.” Katy smiled, “The shelter definitely sounds fine and I myself have heard great reviews for it. I think Mr. Solace was trying to evoke negative emotions about the shelter to close it and ruin your image at the same time. We are very sorry that he did that to you. How about the other statements he made?” Gosh, I love this woman. “As for making-out with him, it takes two to tango. He should have stopped it himself if he didn’t enjoy it. Which I can surely say he did. Plus, I can bravely admit that he was my first kiss so, that cannot make me a w---e.

As for the gold-digger part, I never took a penny from him. I worked for my money, and I had a job. Furthermore, if he feels that I am an embarrassment, then shouldn’t he have divorced me before or even now? I don’t think I would have objected, especially at this stage. He had that choice as well, so the blame isn’t fully on me. We got married on mutual consent, and if he wasn’t comfortable he could have and should have said no. I know I tried to object, but I don’t think he understands that. What do you think Mrs. Johnson?” She grinned at me, there was this mischievous twinkle in her eye. “I totally agree with you Heather. This isn’t something that only you could have done. I think our viewers know now that what he said isn’t true. You seem to be a kind, hard-working woman and I hope that justice is done to you.” “Thank you Mrs. Johnson.” “Now if there was anything you would like to say to Mr. Solace, what would it be?” I grinned and turned to the camera. “If you’re watching this honey, I just want to say two words.” Here comes my favorite part. “F*** YOU!” With my last statement, the camera turned off and everyone applauded. Katy chuckled at me, “You kicked ass young lady! Excellent job!” I hugged her and smiled. “Thanks Mrs. Johnson.” I exited the studio happily with Alex, who was still choking on his laughter. “I can’t believe you said that. I never knew you had a potty mouth, sis.” He said once he was done wiping his tears. “Only when I have to.” I said, the grin never leaving my face. “Now, how about we go celebrate with ice cream, my lady.” He said, bowing and giving me his arm. “It would be my pleasure, kind sir.” I curtsied and took his arm. We laughed and started walking to the car. I can happily say that I feel so much lighter on my feet. “Take that William Henry Solace!” I thought to myself.
