Heather’s POV “What is he doing here? ” He was dressed in a white Princeton sweatshirt, black jeans, and black Nike shoes. As if he heard my thoughts, William spoke. “I came here to see you honey, and where do you think you’re going?”, he smirked. “For a run,” I said and walked around him. “Oh no, no, no Heather sweetie,” he grabbed my arm. I turned and he jerked me closer, so that we were barely centimeters apart. My eyes widened even further. His forest green orbs bore into my violet ones. They were sparkling mischievously and his pink lips turned into a smirk. “Is little Heather scared?” he asked mockingly. “No, I’m not. And if anything, I think you’re buddy down there is little.” I replied . “How would you know? You never saw him, unless you would like to now.” He put a hand on my waist and brought me even closer, so my breast were pressed against his hard chest. My whole body was on fire and I wanted to stay close to his warmth. But I had to remind myself that this guy will probably use my weaknesses against me. “In your dreams, William.” I spat and tried to pull away, but he wouldn’t let me. “Hmm, perhaps I do dream about you moaning and writhing under me as I-” I slapped a hand on his mouth to stop him and forced myself to keep from blushing at the image. “Shut your mouth William, we both know we don’t like each other and that will never happen.” “Aw look, it’s innocent Heather. Do mommy and daddy know what a b---h you are? I wonder if the shelter is actually safe hmm? Maybe social services should take a look.” My eyes flared and I was shaking with anger.

This man is going to meet his end very, very soon if I snap with anger. I have never snapped in my whole life because it takes a lot to make me this angry. I was red in the face at this point. I took a deep breath. “You will leave my family and the shelter alone William, or else.” I growled. “Oh, I am so scared.” He mocked. I leaned closer to his face and smirked. “We’ll see about that” I stomped hard on his foot, and he released my arm and waist immediately. I turned around, whipping my hair in his face, and walked off. But just to tease him, I exaggerated the sway in my hips, and turned my head back to look at William, who was rubbing his foot and staring at my hips. I smirked evilly and he glared. I wiggled my fingers at him in a good-bye and began to run once I hit the sidewalk. William’s POV Once Heather ran off, I immediately raced back to my car and hopped in. I’m gonna follow her and see what she does, maybe I can find something else for blackmail. I got on the road and began looking for her. Where did she go? She left like 2 minutes ago, she couldn’t have gone that far. I suddenly saw her racing down the street towards the park. D--n, she is fast. I parked on the sidewalk next to the park and waited by a bench for her. I watched as she ran around the street corner, into the park, and began to sprint on the sidewalk lane meant for runners. I began to jog behind her, and stopped abruptly to hide behind a tree. Heather had stopped by the gazebo where a small group of little children stood with their signs, instruments, and bowls for money. She took her wallet from her shorts pocket, and began to hand out all the spare dollar bills she had. However she ran out, and a little boy didn’t receive any.
