Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 7

Start from the beginning  Mrs. Montgomery smiled, “That’s wonderful, honey. How are the other kids?” “They are great too mom, I can’t wait to see the twins start crawling, and the rest of them start school next week. They are so excited about it. I’m going to be heading over there to take them all school supply shopping tomorrow.”, Heather replied, beaming. Curiosity took over and I asked, “What shelter is this?” Heather brushed her bangs from her eyes and looked back down at the bread uncomfortably. She opened her mouth to reply, when Alex beat her to it. “Heather owns an orphanage. It’s pretty famous, it’s called Windy Summits Shelter.”, he said proudly.

I stared at Heather in awe. I heard all about that shelter and I have attended events that raise money for it. I never knew that she was the owner. Apparently, it is an amazing place and the orphans there are actually really happy. Heather blushed. She finished tearing the bread, and began to eat. “You really need to fix that place up. It’s so ratty and unsafe for the children.”, Andrew said, “You could be endangering them, hasn’t anyone told you that yet?”, he frowned. I could see Stephanie starting to turn red with anger as she glared at Andrew. Heather frowned at him, “I know it’s not that great, but I’m saving up for some repairs, and hopefully a couple of upgrades.” “If you actually got a real job, maybe you could actually make some money, rather than feeding off others like a leech”, he said angrily. I saw Heather flinch, anger evident in her eyes. “Andrew!”, Mr. and Mrs.Montgomery, Alex, and Stephanie all glared at him. “It’s fine, he can say whatever he wants. Sorry Andrew, but I don’t give a cookie what you think, I love my job, even if it doesn’t pay as much as yours, and that’s all that matters to me. Now if you’ll excuse me.”, Heather said, and got up from her chair. She walked out to the backyard and disappeared from sight. “Andrew Jacob Montgomery!”, Mr. Montgomery yelled, “go apologize to your sister. You know she worked her butt off to get where she is now.” “NO dad! I’m not going to apologize. She is such an embarrassment to the family and you guys support her?”, he asked incredulously. “What are you talking about?”, Stephanie asked him angrily. My guess is that Andrew never expressed his thoughts on Heather before. “What has she done to help this family’s reputation? Don’t you all see?”, he asked standing up. Everyone was standing by then, except for Landon. The poor guy looked confused. Suddenly, it was quiet. All eyes were at the entrance to the dining room. Heather stood there, staring at Andrew wide-eyed.

There was no expression on her face. “I’m sorry you feel that way Andrew. If this is the case, I think I am no longer welcome in this household.”, she said with fire in her eyes, “Good-bye!” She turned to look at me. I understood she wanted to leave and I grabbed my jacket. We walked out of the house into the freezing night breeze. I looked at Heather, and she was deep in thought. I opened my mouth to say something, but decided that she was miserable enough without me. Somehow, I didn’t feel happy like I was supposed to. I shook my head to get rid of the thoughts of pity. I’m not supposed to feel like giving her a hug, I have to get revenge. Once I reached the car, I turned around. Heather was right behind me, except she was looking at her shoes, so she walked right into me. I caught her by her hips as she fell back. I was in a sort-of shocked trance as I stared at her face. Her fiery, violet eyes were filled with so much pain.

They were glistening with tears she was holding in. I’ve never seen someone look so hurt, and seeing her face was hurting me. She started squirming in my arms, frowning at me. But at that point, I couldn’t help it. I pulled her back up by her waist, and hugged her tightly.I could feel her stiffen, but I ignored it. I nuzzled her neck and breathed in her butterscotch vanilla scent. She relaxed, laying her head on my chest and hugging me just as close. She fit perfectly in my arms. I couldn’t understand why I wanted to continue hugging her.

What is happening to me? Where is my plan of revenge going? I had to talk to my friends before I start forming feelings for this little fire ball.
