Enita's POV

“You’ve not seen anything yet. I will still cut that wire in between your legs” I mumbled and lay on my bed to sleep.

Next day~

I woke up groaning as I stretch out my body. I wish I could sleep more but no. I have to go to work.

I jumped out of the bed and walk to the bathroom to take my bath and get ready for work.

I wore a lilac shirt and white trouser. I combed my hair, grab my car keys and phone then walk out of the room.

Smilingly, I greeted my uncle who was in the living and aunt Stella who also was just coming from the kitchen.

Is like that dumb ass is still sleeping.

I opened the fridge and saw the soup my mom made for me. Once am through with today’s work, I will ask Mimi to take me to the market so I can get Foo-foo for my soup.

Yummy.

I ate breakfast and ran out of the house. The journey was smooth and I got to the hospital on time.

The first person I have been praying never to see is doctor Nelson.

He was walking towards me with a straight face. He stood in front of me and smiled at me wirily.

“Good morning, Enita” He greeted.

“Good morning, you must have missed us right? Don’t worry, I brought you soup from my community, made by my mom. Should I bring it?” I replied.

“No, I don’t need it. I just stop yo greet you. And welcome back to the hospital again. Patient in ward 9 needs medical attention. Attend to her.” He answered and left.

I scoffed and dip my hands into my front pocket and move on.

I wore my Lab cloth and stethoscope, I used the landline and asked for two nurses needed.

After attending to the old woman in the ward, I came out and met Sir McDonald. He stopped when he saw me.

“Enita! You’re back! How’s Nigeria? And the wedding stuff?” He asked.

“It went well sir, my uncle’s wedding is in two months time. Am sure, he will invite you soon”

“Oh yes, he dare not invite me” He chuckled.

He turned to leave with three nurses and a doctor trailing behind him.

I dismissed the two nurses who came with me and went to Mimi’s office.

“Hey! How’s work?” She beamed, hugging me.

“Fine sugar, yours?”

“Same, let’s go out for lunch later. Have missed you.” She giggled.

“Same too.”

Mimi's POV

Finally, we went for lunch and it was the best. Enita and his romantic stuff.

I could see the way doctor Nelson has been behaving. But he shouldn’t be jealous anymore.

He’s going to find his own Mrs right.

I love Enita and I will forever love him.

Actually, I didn’t bring my own car so, we had to use his car.

He drop me off and went his own way. I giggled at every thought of him.

Brume's POV

I stayed outside the brown big gate, waiting for Rose to come out. I adjusted my polo shirt and rubbed my face clean for the fifth time.

We are just gonna take a walk, talk about things and go back home.

I haven’t ask her out yet. We just confess out feelings but haven’t start dating.

I can’t wait for her to be my girlfriend.

Soon, she came out with a blue gown and a black sandal. She smirked and hugged me.

“You’re choking me, Rose” I said, breathlessly.

“Oops, am sorry. Am just too happy to see you” She finally released me.

“Okay let’s go, so we can come back early” I answered and held her hand, leading the way.

We were talking, talking and talking till we finally reached a place where I turned to her suddenly and stared into her lovely brown eyes.

“Be my girlfriend Rose.” I said sharply.

I could see how her eyes nearly popped out of its socket.

She’s shocked.

She smiled and answered. “Brume, I’d like to be your girlfriend.”

Awwn. Am In cloud nine.

Am flying with the angels of God.

“Really? I promise to be the best boyfriend ever” I promised.

“That’s okay, my cheeks are hurting me. Am blushing too much” Said Rose, covering her cheeks with both palms.

I sighed and raised her face up to mine and placed a quick kiss on her lips.

Another blushing again. She loves blushing.

She’s cute anyway.

Enita's POV

One month gone, and it was time to prepare for the traditional wedding. My uncle’s wedding.

I can’t wait to propose to Mimi, so we can get married and our own kids. She’s gonna be mine forever.

I received my first salary whicwas huge. When I say huge, I mean H.U.G.E. Big money.

I’d safe for my family, especially my mother who I had promised one day, am gonna open a big restaurant for her.

Have always dreamt of taking care of my parents and brother. And thats coming true already.

Even when am married, sure thing, I will still take care of them. I will never let them labor in vain.

We got into the plane and it took off in no time.

In the next two days, the traditional wedding will come up. Only God knows how aunt Stella is going to look in her attire.

We got to Warri again, happy mom, dad and brother came out to welcome us.

I was careful so I won’t pour another soup away. Luckily, I didn’t.

Fast forward…

The Traditional Wedding…..

Everyone dressed in their beautiful attires. I was wearing a Blue long sleeve, and tied a George wrapper on my waist, wore a hat and a feather stuck to it.

The men did the same, the same colour except for my uncle, wearing a white long sleeve with Gold wrapper.

The bride was called out, dressed in silver wrapper and beads wore on her body. Both her hair too.

Ahh! Am getting jealous. Let me go and quickly marry.
