Ose's POV

I ran till I was unable to run again. I stopped to gasp for breathe. Why does that guy has effects on me.

His cool voice alone are making crazy. Not to talk of his handsome face.

Brume, has been my crush since I saw him. I know he has feelings for me but am just trying to be adamant.

Am trying to prove big girl. I really wanna be his girlfriend but I still want him to keep troubling me with his confessions.

Aishh! Those lips. He really do kiss me. I was in cloud nine when he did that.

I love him!!! Everything about him!!

Enita's POV

At this time of your age Silly me.

This boy wants to make me speak wrong grammar.

“You will not kill. Now let’s go home!” I commanded.

I dragged him till we reached home. Dad was home, sitting on his favorite chair in the living room.

“Papa, you won’t believe I caught brume with…..”Someone stepped on my toe, I turned and gave brume a wicked look.

“If it about him and that girl, Rose. Am tired of this boy here. Even if we stop him, he will sneak out and still find a way to meet the girl.

And since he loves her so much. I guess I should be expecting two weddings” My father teased.

“What?! He can’t get married at his age. You didn’t even add me too. Am bringing my fiancée home soon” I beamed.

“Really? Oh my! I can’t wait. I want to start seeing my grandchildren” Mom suddenly appeared.

“Mom! I thought you were in the canteen. Moreover, where’s Mimi?” I questioned.

“She’s still in the canteen. She’s really helpful. I need to do what I came here for. There are many customers today” She answered happily.

“Brume, did she love you back?” I suddenly asked when we were out of the living room.

“No brother Enita, she decline the love I have for her. Ouch! It hurts” He touched his chest, faking that he’s in pain.

“Seriously? You’re not serious. But I saw you two kissing”

“Oh that one! I…I forced her to kiss me. Its an intentional accident” He laughed and looked away.

Intentional what?!

“Intentional accident indeed. Just don’t get to sleep with her. Else am gonna cut that broom in between your legs” I warned and patted his head.

“Oh no! You know I can’t do that. Am not that type of guy.” He sighed and continued.

“The love I have for her is undescribable. I love her so very much that I want to make her my future queen. My future wife.

Hmph! This kind of love is killing me.” He muttered the last part.

I was shocked with what my brother said.

My brother has never been this serious like this especially, when it comes to girls.

You see this coconut head here? Brume, has dated so many girls while me am still doing single but not searching.

I know my brother when he’s been serious.

“Brume, do you know she can see come back to you?” I asked and he nodded repeatedly.

“Yes I know, but she told me, she likes someone else. I wish I know that bloody fool” He growled.

Really? Am not sure this is the real Brume.

“You will have to calm down. Just believe she is coming back for you. And once she did, don’t treat her like a slave or make her get hurt in any way.

Always protect your jewel. That’s what ladies is. Our jewels. They are precious.” I found myself saying. I never expect those words to come out.

“Wow! Brother, tell me you are in love with someone. The way you talk just now just made me realized that.”

“You wanna know?” I faced him with a smirk.

“Yeah, I wanna know her” He replied.

“Chief odafe’s daughter. Mimi. Thats her. She’s the one am in love with. She’s the one my heart beat for” I narrated and he stared at me surprisingly.

“What?! You mean that proud…….” I cut him off.

“She has changed. You will get to like her soon.”

I went to my dad to ask of my uncle.

“Dad, where’s uncle Efe and others?” I asked.

“Humm…they went to greet some friends. Hope nothing?” He replied and my face turned into a frown.

Huh?

“Where are they now? Am coming let me call them.” I took my phone out and dialed my uncle’s number.

“Uncle where are you know?” I panicked.

“Hmm….we are in our house now. You won’t believe chief Moore is here. He said he came to greet us” My uncle scoffed.

Whaaat?

“Uncle, please don’t let him do anything. Am coming right away.” I said hurriedly.

“What……” I already hung up.

I rushed out of Tue house like a mad dog. Running to uncle Efe’s house. He built a house so he can stay there whenever he’s back from London.

If only my car was here.

20 minutes of running like a cheetah. I finally got to the three bedroom flat house. And entered without knocking coolval stories.

“Good afternoon, chief Moore. Weldone and thanks for visiting my uncle. How’s your son? Has he got a job or he’s still….you know” I rushed my words.

I didn’t mean that. I need to just put him in place. He can’t just come here and destroy someone else family.

All he should be after is, his son should get a job, take Care of him, have wife and kids. But he didn’t do that. He’s here with his owl eyes and yam leg to come and kill.

If not that I respect him a little, I would have use stick and send him out but I need to play along.

“Oh! He’s fine. He will soon get a job. Efe, I heard you will be getting married soon. Wow!” He said, less concerned about his son but more concerned about my uncle coming wedding.

“Oh yes. Hmm..am coming. I want to go check the meal I put on fire.” Uncle Efe stood up and went to the kitchen.

Few minutes, aunt Stella, my uncle and the others like Tony came out to eat.

It was fried rice and chicken.

“Ehehe! So you guys cooked all this? It a good thing I came in time” Chief Moore squeaks as he touch every plates containing food apart from his.

Ahh! See where God use to catch someone. What am about to do now. I know, no one will like this but it for their own good.

“Let’s eat guys, am d--n hungry.” Tony said.

Idiot. If only he knew what’s coming his way, he won’t even take a spoon not to talk of digging it into the food.

Is food that will still kill you one day.

They were about eating but I stooped them all.

“Let pray before eating” I said, as chief stared angrily at him.

They nodded and they all closed their eyes. I quickly whisper to chief Moore.

“You will think you’re smart like that. Have priced your coffin from people. It’s ready. The only thing that will make you go into it is, try that nonsense again and I won’t spare you. Don’t try to poison any of my family members or relatives.” I warned, whispering to his ears.

I quickly cleared my throat and prayed over the food. Chief Moore was still dumbfounded. He doesn’t know me.

“Cockroach!!!!!!!! White cockroach!!!A rat!!!Omg!” I screamed and jump up.

Everyone standing up to stay far away from the table. I scattered the whole meals. All the food pouring away. Even the juices spilled.

I made sure the whole food is on the floor and even stepped in it. I could see anger boiling in everybody here.

Am only trying to save them. I will explain the details to my uncle later. I saw chief Moore rush out in an angry mode.

Awwn… I just spoilt his plan. Old monkey. His head like mango.
