Enita's POV

Which one is born john again? So he doesn’t want to be hit with a mop. Spoilt child.

Children of nowadays.

Satisfied with that, I stood up and went straight to the kitchen to go drop the mop and came out.

Tony was giving me a childish look, I glared at him.

“Uncle, please can we cook at least before Mimi wake up?” I said.

“Am gonna help you with the cooking” I added and went to the kitchen.

Am waiting.

Soon, both my uncle and Tony came to the kitchen and we start cooking.

The cooking was fast and we had toast bread, bacon and eggs for breakfast.

I got to my room and met Mimi already awake. My heart was beating fast for no reason.

“Good morning sugar” I greeted sitting beside her and stroke her hair.

“Enita good morning. Am sorry I pit you through……” I knew she was going to apologize about something.

“You don’t need to be sorry, breakfast is downstairs. You need to eat” I replied.

I touched her forehead to check her temperature, it was normal and thats a relief.

Then I remembered what she said yesterday about sign 1 accomplish.

“Mimi, about yesterday. You were talking about sign 1, can you tell me about it?”

She bit her lips and looked away, “It actually personal. I don’t wanna talk about it” She answered.

I sighed. I wasn’t going to push her. She stood up and went into the bathroom. I left the room for her.

Minutes later, she was walking downstairs in my shirt that was above her knee though not too exposing. I must not be tempted.

But why did she wear my shirt? Oops! I guess I don’t expect her to wear her clothes back again.

She got to the dining room and sat down. I watched her as she eats like a baby. She’s cute.

I was in the kitchen when she came in with her plate. She turned the faucet on and began washing the plate.

She was through, she turned to me beamingly.

“Enita, have you forgot the date we will be having today?” She asked, resting her butt on the table.

“No, I haven’t. Well, I thought you must have forgotten but I think am wrong.” I said, cleaning my hand with a napkin.

“I really need to go home now. I can’t stay here in your shirt like this.” She whined softly.

“Okay, am coming let me go get my car keys.” I ran to my room to pick up my phone and car keys.

I got into the car with her. Her clothes were in the car while she’s still putting mine on.

She kept giving me directions still we finally stopped at her house.

Can’t believe I finally get to know her house. At last.

We came down, she brought out her keys and opened the door. We entered the house, it looks small but comfortable and enticing.

“Am coming, let me get your shirt back” She walk to her room not far from the living room.

I was still exploring the whole place when she came back again with the shirt in my hand neatly folded.

I smiled and collected it. We were both staring at each other’s eyes. I moved closer and held her hand.

Then to her ear I whispered, “Good day Mimi, and don’t forget I still love you”

I felt her shiver when my lips touched her neck. I smirked and stand normally.

“See you tonight by 7pm sugar” I said lastly before leaving.

I drove my car home safely.

Mimi's POV

I took the remote in my hand and stretched it towards the TV to change the channel.

I was smiling, I don’t really need sign 2 Since the first important one has been accomplished but I still need it.

Sign 1 was about me been bullied and almost getting raped, so Enita can come from no where to come save me. This sounds stupid and risky but I just need it.

I had to faint because I was shock and too weak. Yeah, I wasn’t feeling fine but just had to go with the sign and its riskiness.

I guess am beginning to have feelings for him. I don’t want him with another woman especially the one I saw him with.

Let just say am beginning to love him back. Truthfully, have missed his lips so badly. I was a little sad he didn’t kiss me today.

And of course, am sure he’s still going to.

As for Doctor Nelson, not even a tiny feeling have I ever feel towards him.

Have missed Enita so much. Am admitting that. I missed his troublesomeness, his lips and just everything about him.

I just need someone I can give my heart to and won’t break it. Am relying on Enita.

Enita's POV

At night……

“I sat down on the couch, I was khakied. Wearing a khaki trouser and jacket.

I kept checking the time every minutes, praying for 7pm come quickly and this is just 6:13pm.

My uncle came back from work minutes ago with a different expression on his face. Filled with excitement.

What could have happened?

I noticed someone behind me, it was my uncle.

“Enita” He called and sat beside me.

“I can see you’re dressed for your date tonight.” I nodded.

“Well, I’d like to tell you that you will be going to Nigeria on Monday. I already told McDonalds about it and he already granted you permission. You will be leaving London to Nigeria for two weeks.” I blinked my eyes rapidly.

I didn’t hear that well. He’s joking.

“Uncle, are you sure of what you’re saying?” I asked.

“Ohh, I omitted myself, Stella and others” He grinned.

“We all are going to Nigeria for our marriage rites. We are getting married next month. Stella and some members of her family will be coming too” Uncle explained and I breathe out.

That’s good. Really good. If all of them are like Tony, They should get ready to fetch water in the stream, cook with firewood and also feed the goats for not greeting their elders properly.

But am gonna miss my sugar. I need to tell her about this. I pray she follows me to Nigeria.

Warri, here I come again. That place will scatter.
