Inside the gutter !!!!!! What a bad date! It looks like God didn’t approve today’s date. Maybe tomorrow, and I pray I won’t fall inside tank next.

I struggled to get up from the gutter, wet in dirty liquid. I dialled my uncle’s number in my phone the asked him to send Mimi’s number to me.

He did and I called her. “Mimi, this sound clumsy but can you come pick me outside. I fell into the gutter.” I said, softly.

“Really Enita? You fell into the gutter? Okay am coming. Gosh! You’re truly a drama king” I heard her say.

Few minutes, she came out and I wave my hand at her so she could notice me. She walk towards me and chuckled.

It’s fine for her to laugh at me. “How did you ended up in a gutter Enita?” She asked.

“It’s this stupid banana peel, I stepped on it.” I explained.

“Oh, come let me walk you to the car. Am driving. Can’t believe you ruined our date.” She replied, hoarsely.

I removed my suit and threw it to the boot. I got into the car and Mimi drove me home.

I got down from the car and rush into my room. I removed the remaining clothes on my body and walk under the shower.

I had a cold bath, my towel was tied around my torso and I grinned when an idea came to my mind.

Mimi’s is still in the house, I don’t know why she hasn’t go yet.

Mimi's POV

I sat down trying to watch my favorite show. I had to wait cause I was preparing lunch for uncle Efe and Enita.

Even before Enita is here, I do cook for Mr Efe. He’s like a father to me.

Well, let’s just say Enita specially. I heard my name from a room upstairs and I stood up.

“Mimi, can you get me my suit in the boot?” Enita’s voice spoke up.

“Okay, you should have taken it the other time.” I groaned and walk outside to take his d--n suit to his d--n room.

I knocked on the door twice before the door opened, I walk in the room and glance up at him.

He isn’t wearing any shirt but a towel on.

“What do you want to use this dirty suit for? You gonna wear it or what?” I asked dropping it on the floor.

“No I wasn’t going to wear it but.. Trick you into my room.” I glared at him and turned to open the door but he stopped him from doing that.

What’s he doing? He better not try something silly.

“Sugar, I ruined our first date, how about we take another day for the date.” He said.

“Another day for date? Okay, how about this Saturday, we can go. Problem solved, now let me go.” I answered.

“No sugar, okay if you want me to release you, you’re going to kiss me 26 times on the lips.”

“What?! You must be joking Enita, you’re such a crazy man. Where did they take you from?”

“My parents did that thing they use to do on the bed, so the thing sent a signal to heaven and that’s how I came. From heaven.” He folded his arms and moved his head closer to me.

Almost lip to lip, ” It either you kiss me 26 times or I do that myself.” He whispered.

“Gosh! Am sure you’re kidding. See let me go now.” I sniffed for some seconds and gasped.

“The food is burning!! Enita let me go before we get burnt in this house. Leave me now!” He finally left the door and I was about going out of his room.

He drew me back and then he gave me a peck on the cheek and push me out.

What the f--k is wrong with this guy? He’s been behaving silly anytime he’s around me. I noticed that.

Earlier today, he fell into the gutter. Clumsy jerk.

I ran to the kitchen and saw the food a little burnt. Arrghh! Enita caused this, I was even foolish to have entered his room just to give him his suit.

Fast forward….

Enita's POV

I walk downstairs majestically, and sat on the dinning chair with my uncle.

He came back some minutes ago. Mimi dished the food and I ate my own meal. Delicious.

Mimi didn’t eat with us, cause she was called in the hospital for an emergency.

When it comes to Mimi, I do something strange which I can’t even explain. I didn’t mean to peck her but I did.

My uncle finished his food and came to join me in the living room with his face glued to his phone.

He was smiling and chuckling at the same time. I peeped at the phone, he was chatting with someone.

“Uncle, this one that you’re laughing, hope is not what am thinking.” I said, trying to look at the person he was chatting with.

“What are you thinking?” He queried.

“Well that woman that makes you laugh like your life depends on the laugh itself.” I answered.

New babe. New chick. New catch for Uncle Efe.New girlfriend or maybe future wife soon. Uncle I salute.

“Well, am just going to tell you about her briefly. She’s my crush. Am still finding a way to tell her about how I feel but am just too shy.” He replied and turn back to his phone.

“You are too what? Shy keh? Abi I should help you? Don’t worry, I will help you out. Bring the phone.” I tried to collect the phone from him but he hid it.

“What are you trying to do? You want to help me out how? I don’t want to disgrace myself”

I laughed and turn to him. “Uncle, who knows if she’s also in love with you. You girls, they will be doing like uncooked egg. Doing like S.U” He chuckled at what I said.

“Enita, don’t worry. I know what to do. Am not growing younger anymore. Am just 38 years old. I need a wife.” He said, wirily.

“I know. Shey na oyibo? Don’t worry I know what to do.” I eventually collect the phone and ran upstairs.

He pursued me but I was already typing a message to the woman.

“Hmm… Actually I wanted to tell you this, it may sound awkward but I just want to drop this heavy load in my heart down. The truth is am in love with you. Can you be my woman forever?” I typed and sent it to the woman.

“Uncle, mission accomplished. See this.” I showed him the message and he screamed my name which made me run.

“Enita!!! You’re dead today!!!”
