It’s around noon and the sun was high in the Sky when my Elder sister asked me to accompany her to see her friend. We were on holliday and so was her friend. I agreed on one condition that is if she will give me #100 to buy Sugar and groundnut since we have garri in the house. I love soaking garri in water especially when the sun is high and the weather is hot.

when we reach her friend’s house, we saw her and she invited us inside. When we got in, i saw a particular beauty that swept away my feet, every thing stood still even the time. This particular beauty kept starring at me as I kept starring at her, infact we were lost in our own world. My sister’s friend noticed the situation and introduce the beauty as her cousin, then we all exchange pleasantries. All the while i was there i kept stealing glances at her, am sure i never heard anything my sister discussed with her friend as my mind wasn’t there at all.

all i was thinking was how to open up to this beauty i came to know as Chika. I know what to say but
