The Player - S01 E29

Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 29

We drove and drove until I lost count of time… I didn’t know where we were or where we were going

Different thoughts came to my mind

Was Rita taking me to ritualist

Was she going to kill me.

Was she going to keep me?

For how long?

These thoughts kept on disturbing me….my shoulder which was shot was already taken care of my one of the thugs by her side

He removed the bullet and I shouted in pain only to receive a slap from Rita

Half of my cloth was stained with my blood and I was already dizzy… My wound was already bandage but I felt sore all over the shoulder but I suffered the pain in silence and prayed to God for help

I was still deep in thought and I didn’t know when I slept off.

I was woken up with a hot slap on my cheek and I jumped in fright still rubbing the hurt cheek as Rita told the boys to park and wait for her

We had reached an entrance where no car or motor could pass just the feet

I got down from the car wearily as I was so tired

Rita pushed me forward with her gum touching my back and said

“Move…

You make any funny movement and I blast your back”

I didn’t dare disobey as I was weak and sick… The hot slap had dulled my senses

We walked for like twenty minutes in the bush and came across no one

I had given up hope and resigned to my fate…,

We reached a clearing and in front of me I saw a small bungalow with a long staircase… I wondered which kind of house was this but as I stared the more I noticed that it wasn’t a bungalow but a storey building craftly built that it resembled a bungalow

I kept on walking slowly as Rita pushed me forward with her gun

As we started climbing the Stairs I wondered why this idiot would want to lock me up forever and take my husband

My own husband!!!

Well I was going to die anyway but I won’t die like a coward… A thought came across my mind and I smiled gently

Closing my eyes and offering a prayer to my God.

I suddenly pretended to lost balance
