I didn’t see my boss for the following week until one Saturday when he summoned me to his private suite

I entered shyly and greeted him…he answered me causally like nothing had happened between us

In a business like tone

he gave me a piece if paper and told me to go through it

in it was a list of foreign universities outside the country….

‘pick any one you like” he said

“I will sponsor you”

I looked from him to the paper and from the paper to him

“Sir….?”

“I don’t like repeating myself

Just pick any university you like….I will pay for it”.

Suddenly, I started feeling anger rising in my chest,

I stood up and said

“No sir”

He looked surprised

“No????

why No?”

I replied calmly

“Not all ladies are after money

sir,

I don’t want your money…

I don’t nerd your help

and in case you’re thinking that I might want to blackmail you.

No,

I won’t do that

I will just pack my things and leave quietly….”

“Anit…..’

I didn’t let him complete his statement

“Mr Daniel….

Never bother

I will just leave”

and I Also turned and left

without looking back

I watched her retreating out of the room with a sad face

I wanted to go after her but I knew I mustn’t… I will end up kissing her…God,….Never had a woman made me feel this way
