The rest of the day was so deserted for me.

After the encounter with melvin i couldn’t help but blame myself.

I felt so sick that i had to excuse myself, I was so sober.

Thanks to mama femi who understand what I was going through and gave me the day off.

The scenario kept playing on my little head.

It was a narrow escape, I could not stop the tears that flowed from my eyes.

Keji!! What have you gotten yourself into, God, what’s wrong with me

What would melvin think of me now?? A cheap s--t??

I kept asking myself while tears flow from my eyes.

I couldn’t stop blaming myself, I was so bitter I didn’t know when I cried myself to sleep.

Mama Femi: Keji!! Keji!! Wake-up!!

Hmmm… Not when i’m trying to get over the encounter with this sleep… I rolled on the bed unconsciously..

Mama Femi: Keji!!

She hit me hard on my laps, I flew up..

Me: Ma!! Ma!! I said using the back of my hand to rub my swollen eyes as a result of the tears…

Mama Femi: It’s evening already, chief mrs just got in and she mustn’t know you have been sleeping all day.

On hearing that I quickly stood up trying to put on my sandals..

Mama Femi: Calm down, I already told her we are done for the day and has retired to bed.

Ah…. I felt a bit relieved and sat down on the bed sluggishly.

Me: Mama I’m not happy.. I said looking down at my feet…

Mama Femi: Hmmm… You just have to be strong, i’m as confused as you’re Keji because it still baffles me that melvin tried taking advantage of you, like I have known Melvin for years now and the Melvin I brought up like my own son would never take advantage of anyone not even on a young girl like you.. She said in confusion…

Me: Mama I don’t know too, I can’t just fathom it, I feel so cheap and…

Mama Femi cut in…

Mama Femi: Common don’t say that to yourself…. She bend down and hug me…

Mama Femi: You just have to be careful, and i’m surprised because he asked about you when leaving the house..

I gasp and released myself from the hug.. I stared into her eyes which was also filled with confusion.

Me: He asked about me… I asked her again.

Mama Femi: Yes, but I told him you were in the room, and he asked me to tell you he already left.

Me: In tears… Mama i’m scared, i can’t cope, this is too much to bear..

Mama femi hugged me tightly and whispered into my ear..
