Alex and I spent almost half of the day in the hotel, doing nothing but having fun on bed.. After that we took our baths together and left the hotel and went back home… Aunt Nicole and the others including my mom, Holland and my sisters were at home when we returned, Every one was happy to see us together, our kids ran towards us giving us a hug… Believe me it was good to be back with the people I love most in this world..

We all were surprised at the news of Holland and Helen getting married but we were happy for them, as we were all talking and gisting, Michael Rebecca’s brother bursted into the house…

Aunt Nicole Language Caroline… Rebecca I thought I made myself clear… Nothing you say will change anything… Leave at once..

Rebecca Look.. I know what I did and I know I shouldn’t be here but please hear me out… Please… Look Carol, I’m so sorry for what I did… I do like teasing and making you look like a fool but I never meant to hurt you this way… Despite the blood bad between us… I’ve always loved you like a sister… To be frank, I was always jealous of you, jealous of the attention you were getting and I let the jealousy rule over me… Please I’m sorry and I also apologize to you Alex… I was wrong about you.. And as much as I hate to say this… I humbly ask for both of your forgiveness..

The b---h… Even when she’s trying to apologize she couldn’t hide her attitude but seeing how she looked she was sincerely but I wasn’t willing to forgive her, as if Alex was reading my mind, he pressed my hands giving me a pleading look… And also seeing my daughter Alexandra sit close to Rebecca made my anger melt.. If I recall Alexandra spends an awful amount of time with Rebecca when she’s not playing with her brother and she likes Rebecca a lot, if my daughter could learn to love her that much… Rebecca might not be so bad after all… So I decided to forgive her.. After all the best way to better life is to forgive and forget…

Carol Okay… I forgive you and I also apologize for making you feel that way all these years…

Rebecca Thanks cousin…

Carol You’re welcome…

Rebecca and I hugged afterwards and Aunt Nicole was happy about the whole thing… Once again.. The happy moment was back again… No quarrel, no hate… Just love and happiness…

#Omniscient POV

One year later… Life in the Lovette family was as smooth as ever…. Everyone had their happy endings, Holland and Helen got married and moved to England to start a family… Their wedding wasn’t much of a bash because, they insisted on family only… No guests we’re allowed.. Michael and Edna too got married and moved to America their marriage too was family only no guests….

As for Rebecca, after settling her difference with Carol, their relationship got much more stronger as if they were sisters… She had gotten a house in Nigeria, which she stayed in whenever she comes to visit Carol and the kids. She was no longer a racist b---h and her views about the blacks had changed.. She even wrote an article and helped funding the supply of aid needed by the refugees in north Africa which were been disturbed by terrorists.

As for Sandra… She repented wholeheartedly and became a responsible, dutiful wife and a caring mother to her child and husband…

As for our lovable Characters, Carol and Alex… Well nothing much except Carol gave birth a few months later but it wasn’t what she and Alex was expecting.. Carol gave birth to twins again.. All girls.. they looked much alike like Carol and nothing like Alex… Everyone was surprised but happy about her delivery…

The naming ceremony was a big bash, everyone attended the event… Carol and Alex decided to name their girls after their moms, One was named Christen and the other was Naomi.

Aunt Nicole was happy one of the twins was named after her late sister…she was grateful about it… Naomi too was happy, one of her grandkids was her name sake and she was delighted about it as well.. Everyone came and gave the couples their blessing and wished their newly born kids a happy future..

Later that night after the ceremony, Alex and Carol tucked their sleepy kids to bed… And took their new borns into their own bedroom, they stared at the children’s face wondering how luck they were to have such treasures, Alex and Carol shared a kiss before going to sleep, cuddling each other, they knew what they have was something special and irreplaceable and promised to stay and love one another till the end of their days… But before the could sleep.. One of the twins started the cry very loud into their night waking both Alex and Carol… That’s what being a parent is like… Its not easy….

Carol Darling, its your turn to change the diaper, I did it last time..

Alex I know, I know, I know.. I’ll take care of it… Okay Christen, daddy is coming…
