Ezra woke up and stood up to do his

morning rituals then he sight is landlord

from his window brushing his teeth,he kept

his brush and ran outside to meet him.

Ezra: landlord,good morning”.

Landlord: ha! Ezra my humble tenant,how

was your night?

Ezra:”fine sir”.ehhhm sir i want to ask you

for something.

Landlord:feel free am all hears.

Ezra:sir i want to ask if you have a land to

sell or you have anyfriend that want to sell

land,i mean a very big land o i want to start

building my own house.

Landlord: wow! That is good news but Ezra

where did you see that kind of money?

Ezra: sir i just won 500 million naira from

bet9ja.

Landlord:500 gini?,(using his hand to close

his mouth) ewe Ezra this calls for celebration

do you know that since i have been playing i

never win anything? Chaii Ezra you don

Ezra:thank you sir ehmm sir one more thing

Landlord:talk na

ezra: sir i want to inquire from you how

much you will sell this whole house

including the one that you are staying i

want to turn it into a poultry,so sir name

Landlord: you wan buy this house wey i take

dey manage and turn it to a poultry!

Ezra:yes sir.

Landlord: (look him up and down shake his

hissed and left without saying anything)

Ezra: (surprised) shoooo wettin dey vex this

man now chaii some people no go ever get

sense for their life i wan commot his man

from poverty now he begin dey misbehave

(he hissed and went inside)

** fast forward to Saturday**

Ezra sat down on his couch awaiting

mission call,he thought of calling sky to feed

him with the deal but he thought against

it.”if i tell him,he might become interested

and with that the share that is suppose to

be mine will not be enough again”he said

aloud.he was brought into reality by the

tune of his phone.

Brenda:hello!Ezra are you ready?

Ezra: yes na, i dey expect your call since

morning self.

Brenda:”that is good,now this is what you

are going to do,am going in now Patrick has

put some sleeping pills in the gateman food

and he has slept off the gate is open now,i

will text you the address when am through

with this call,you will stay outside the house

and await Patrick call then you will come

inside.

Ezra: ok dear (hanged up)

few minute later a message popped up in

Ezra phone which he was holding in his

hand with the address written on it,he

picked his house key,locked his door and off

he went.

**at mr.samson resident**

Brenda and mr.samson where sitting on the

couch smouching themselves with Patrick

on the other couch opposite them.

Mr.samson: patrick you have to excuse us

now and lock the door behind you.

Patrick: ok sir! (standing up).

Brenda: uh! Honey why don’t he sit down

and watch us,later now you will say that you

won let him stay and count the point and

scores of the round when we are through

he will tell us the winner(she said with a

seductive smile which left mr.samson with

no choice than to succumb).

Mr.samson: ok dear! As you wish,now let get

down to business (he said pulling is agbada

to reveal his pot belle though he was

wearing a white singlet).

Brenda turned her face toward Patrick and

blink her eyes signifying that Patrick should

call Ezra which he understand and nodded

his head dialing Ezra line.”it is time”he

thought in his mind and smiled.
