SYNOPSIS…

Who said being an author is not a big deal?

Who said been an author is a pan cake?

Who said being a writer doesn’t have any

challenges?

Well lets confirm our hypothesis in this

intriguing story.

Its the clash of authors.

Different author tries to claim the best.

One of the author will possibly be choosen

as the best.

This is a story that instigates a corporal life

of a gangster.

The city have been immersed with absolute

corruption. The problem is that we have

many talented youths who can write well.

In a bid to claim the best, the country was

turned upside down. Properties was

destroyed, pioneers were killed.

What were they fighting for?

What is so special?

Well i am as confused as you are.

Its not a biafra war, its not war of the

millitants, its not world war, its not political

war.its not and ordinary war.

PROLOGUE**

it was the Sabbath day( a day for rest

and prayer).

Life at mushin local government area

is full of struggle.

Chorus rouse to the crowl of the

probably insinuating that its already

daylight.

Mr ramson walked up to his son

room to wake him.

Chorus quickly lyed down back

pretending to be asleep,Mr ramson

opened the door and came inside.

Chorus room was looking clean neat.

The only form of dirt is a series of

papers neatly packed in a bundle

and kept in the floor. Mr ramson

picked the paper from the ground to

look at what was in it.

He was suprised to see that it was a

story again. Mr ramson was very

angry,He had told chorus to stop

dreaming of being a writer. He wants

him to become a future lawyer but

chorus is not abiding by his words.

With anger, Mr ramson woke chorus

from slumber.

Oh good morning papa!!! Chorus said

and immediately, he recieved a

befitting slap that turned his chick

red instantly.

Chaiiii!!! I have entered one chance

today” chorused though within

himself .

When next you are pretending to

sleep, make sure you close your eyes

well” Mr ramson said, and gave

chorus a smirk look.

This man and his trouble self, this

early morning again, i hope my day

will not turn out bad because of this”

chorus thought within himself and

stood up. It was then he saw his

father holding his story script, chorus

quickly ran past his father to avoid

stories that touches.

Mr ramson shook is head dejectedly,

and walked out. May God help this

boy” Mr ramson prayed and went

brush his teeth.

After about 30minutes, Mr ramson

and his family were sitting down in

the dining table to diminish the

bread and tea positioned at their

front.

LET ME TELL YOU GUYS ABOUT MR

RAYMOND FAMILY A LITTLE.+++

Mr Raymond family is a blessed

family, they are not so rich but they

were contended with what they

have,Mr Raymond is a contractor, his

in ability to gather excess money is

due to the fact that he is not

corrupted, he does his work in Godly

ways and he is always recommended

by his co workers. His family is

composed of 4children. The first born

is 23years old and he is already in

300level at a police school in abuja.

Chorus is the second born, he is

19years old and he had just finished

his secondary school. He hope to

write jamb the next year.

The third child is a female, her name

is winner, she is 14years old and she

is just in jss3.

The fourth child is mike, he is the last

born, he is 9years old and he is just

in primary5.

Mr Raymond is always happy with his

children because they are all

intelligent. He always appreciate

God for making his family a happy

one. Mr Raymond favourite child is

chorus, he loves chorus most

because chorus was very talented,

he was the most brilliant and the

most handsome among his children.

It was because of this benevolent

character that chorus have that made

Mr Raymond to suggest that he

becomes a lawyer but chorus had

started disobeying him, the boy was

mean on his plan, he wants to be a

writer. Mr Raymond wouldn’t have

had any problem with this if not that

he believes that writing doesn’t give

much profit to anybody.

BACK TO THE STORY***

Mr Raymond prayed and everybody

began to eat the breakfast, chorus

doesn’t play with meal like this, it

was bread and tea, in no time,chorus

was true with his breakfast, his dad

gave him a look that chorus

translated as ” WHY DID YOU FINISH

YOU YOUR FOOD SO QUICK??.” luckily

for chorus, the door bell rang.

In regular time, chorus would ask

winner to go and answer the door,

but to evade further question and

answer scene, he stood up himself to

get the door. Chorus was suprised to

see onihaxy standing at the door.

Mr Raymond asked who it was but

chorus replied immediately’ its my

friend onihaxy,” tell him to come and

join us” Mr Raymond said and

onihaxy came inside to greet them.

Uhmmm, thank you sir, i have

already eaten,I Just branched to tell

chorus about something.

Mr Raymond nodded in confirmation

and both friends walked out to

discuss.

Chorus: brother,Wetin happen this

early morning.

Onihaxy: see, i get better news for us

Chorus: eh!! I am listening.

Onihaxy: there is a sponsorship

programme that had been

introduced by an organization at

abuja o.

They said they want to see

all the authors by next week. I dont

know the detail yet but i know its a

very important issue o. I heard that

they are looking for writers and they

had said they will take the best

author out of this country. I dont

know about it well but popular

authors like ozila and cool val are

also attending. I have called afolabi

and he said he heard about it, i am

on my way to my mothers place o to

collect my tfare money. I will gist
