Ownet's Adventures - S01 E02

Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 2

[The tampered destiny]

The celebration ended after a long

time and everybody went to their

house.

Mr grammer was the happiest man

on earth at that instant.

His family members still continued

the celebration even after

everybody had gone.

Various songs was sung by different

people. They sang songs with ebira

and other language.

Everybody was happy.

The occasion ended around 3pm and

Mr grammer marched to his father

house.

You guys might be wondering and

how and why.

Well Mr grammer lives in his family

house at illorin, his fathers name is

salìhu and his father was one of the

richest during his youth time.

The building was two storey

building and only the family

members lived on it.

Mr grammer had two rooms upstair.

His own room was closer to his

fathers own. Other houses in the

province were composed of family

friends and members.

They were all related but, Mr salìhu

( Mr grammer’s father) family was

one of the best in their province.

Mr salìhu was the community

chairman of his community.

He is a very funny man which made

the people suggest that Mr grammer

inherited his funny attitude from his

dad.

BACK TO THE STORY

Mr grammer marched to his father

room and knelt down in his front.

We are here papa!!! Mr grammer told

his dad and the rest people knelt

down as well.

Hnmmm. Mr salìhu took the baby

from Mr grammer and looked closely

at his eyes. This baby is made with

good destiny and he will bring good

luck and benefits to us.

His native name will be

“OJIMEGOR”(an ebira words meaning

the one that stopped my tears).

Every body hummed at the name.

This is a wise man with a wise brain,

the name indeed fits the boy than

any other name.

A song was released immediately by

a lady who is a family friend to Mr

grammer. Everybody chorused the

music and the atmosphere became

hot.

Now its time for Mr salìhu sister( Mr

grammer’s aunt) to give the baby

her own name.

Mrs asuku(Mr salìhu sister) stood up

and greeted everybody.

The name that i will give to this baby

is “ONORUOIZA” meaning(Good boy).

Everybody hailed the name. Indeed

he was a good boy.

Prayers were released from different

angle and Mr grammer appreciated

them.

At long last they closed for the day.

A Year Later***+

Mr grammer was sitting down in his

house thinking again.

How this happen so soon.

His business had collapsed.

It started gradually, his goods began

to miss one by one. He began to to

spend more than he is gaining and in

few time he became poor. You guys

might be wondering why and how,

since he has many work.

Well Mr grammer depend solely on

his shop because of the outstandin

profit he obtains from it.

Mr grammer was sitting down at the

front of his house.

How he had become so broke is

mystery to him.

Mr grammer went inside to meet

with his wife who was cooking.

Uhmmm, my wife things are getting

very worse right now. I think we

should sell the shopping mall to

somebody else because i dont think

i can run it anymore.

Oh why is this happening to us? Mrs

grammer asked no one in particular.

Well God knows best, i think we

should just try to adjust to situation

henceforth.,’ Mr grammer said.

The next day:

Mr grammer went to meet the

person who had been disturbing him

for the shop. Mr grammer negotiated

with him and he had to sell it at low

price because of the demand.

Mr grammer had to wanted to sell it

for 50thousand but he had to sell it

to this man whose name is jelil for

just 20thousand naira. Its too cheap

is’nt it?

Yea but Mr grammer had no choice

than to agree like that. Thats what a

man who had 3children and a wife

with zero naira at home will do in

case like this.

Mr grammer showed jelil the shop

and collected his payment, then he

thanked God for helping him.

The case would have been more

ugly if nobody is ready to buy the

shop at that instant.

Mr grammer went home with

different kinds of foodstuffs.

His two kids ran to hug him and the

collected they food stuff.

The little baby also made a some

sounds that Mr grammer assumed to

be a welcome.

Mr grammer always finds peace with

the baby.

He carried the baby and the baby

smiled.

Are you not going to eat your food?”,

his wife asked, knowing fully well

that Mr grammer was too obsessed

with the kid.

Hey little one, Mr grammer said

looking straight at the kid. Suddenly

the kid began to move somehow.

Oh no this is not happening again?

Its what they call “fright”. This was a

phenomenom that usually occur to

young infant. They will sieze their

body making them to scare people

away.

Mr grammer quickly went out to call

for help.
