Mirabel's POV

I felt a pair of strong arms holding my waist firmly, I woke up to see the sleeping figure of my husband, he looked so pale yet so handsome. I starred at him as I chuckled at the funny face he made while I traced his nose.

“What ah funny person” I said to myself

He opened his eyes slowly with a smile, those smile I always wished I see.

“Good morning jewel” he said as he kissed my fore head.

“Morning mine” I said hugging his waist.

“How are you feeling?” I said as I felt his body temperature again because I checked his temperature through out last night.

“I’m fine, love. How are you?” He asked pulling right hand from my waist to caress my hair

“I’m fine with you” I said smiling.

“Mine?” I called

“Yes love…?” He replied

“I love you” I said as I pecked his cheek

“I love you more jewel, you’re my miracle” he said as he held me tight close to his body. I felt protected in his arms.

“Tell me what you want for breakfast, I’ll prepare it for you?” I said

“You….I want you for breakfast” he said smirking at me

“What! You are so…..so…so..” I was short of words to use in describing him

“So what huh? Jewel?” He asked as he playfully tickled me. I laughed so hard.

He stop “anything you love to eat, I’ll eat it also”

“I like everything called food” I said as I rest my head in the crook of his neck.

“That’s why I’m fat” I whispered.

He laughed so hard, I just smiled admiring his cute face

“Come on, sweetie, I love the way you are okay?” He said as he took my face in his hands

“Yes, I know” I said smiling.

What’s my business if I’m mocked for being fat after all my hubby loves me.

“But I won’t eat too much so that I wouldn’t add weight” I said

“You’ll eat, I want a healthy chubby looking wife okay?” He said.

“Yes” I said slowly nodding my head.

“Sweetheart, please tell me what you want to eat” I said pouting.

“Pancakes and chocolate syrup” he said

“I love the ones you made at my parents house” he said smiling

“Then why didn’t you tell me, you love it the way I prepared it?” I asked pouting

“Jewel….I didn’t want you to be attached to me in anyway then” he said with a straight face.

” okay…I’ve got to stand up” I said but he would let go of my waist.

“Give me a peck first” he said as he stretched his face towards my lips.

“Naughty you….” I said as I pecked Both of his cheeks. He freed my waist, I felt his eyes on me as he watched me stand.

“My clothe really looks good on you, jewel” he said smirking. He gave me one of his polo to wear. That’s what I’ve always wished for to share clothes with him. When he gave me the clothes, his scent filled my nostrils. I love his manly scent. The man I love

“Thanks mine” I said giggling

I walked towards the door of our room and then blew him a kiss. He caught the kiss and placed it on his lips, he then gave me a wink.

“Wifey” he said smirking

“Hubby” I said laughing as I left the room.

“Mine, your food is ready” I said as I kept the food on the table. He had already taken his bath. He looked so handsome.

“Wow…so fast?” He asked me smiling

“Yes….you look handsome…you are too cute” I said as I hugged him so tightly

“Awwn…thanks babe” he kissed my cheek.

“Go take your bath, I fixed the bath for you, I’ll wait for you” he said as he pinched my cheek slightly

“You are so romantic mine, thank you” I said as I stood on my toes to peck his cheek seeing that I wasn’t tall he had to bend his head down and I gave him a kiss on his cheekI felt his eyes on me as I walked to the bathroom, I got to the door and turned back, he gave me a wink.

“Would you love to come with me, so you could help scrub my back?” I ask teasing him

He eyes shown with excitement “sure, I can’t wait to do that” he said coming towards me with that naughty smirk

“Well no, mine” I said as I stuck my tongue out to him.

He pouted and I laughed hard.

I bathed the warm water my hubby fixed for me….it was just the best. He loves me and I love him so much.

I tied the towel he gave around my chest and my hair was wet. I contemplated on how I’ll leave the bathroom. I was shy. “Oh my…Why didn’t I bring clothes with me “I thought

I heard a knock on the door. I closed my eyes and took a deep breathe.

” Jewel… Are you okay?” He said I was shy to reply

“Love…please answer me, I’m worried. You are taking too long in the bathroom” he said with a worried tune, with love and care

“I’m..I’m..fine..its just that…that..” I stammered

“OK…I got it” he said, I could hear him chuckle ” Open the door a little and take this” he said.

I opened the door and he passed me a bag.

” thank you” I whispered

I checked in the bag, I saw new pant, a new bra, his body cream, his body spray and then a multi colour flay gown.

“Tch…will this pant and bra even size me” I said as I took a look.

I used his body cream and body spray..

“Awwn….its just the scent of him” I said as I inhaled the sweet scent of the lotion.

” I knew it you’ll keep admiring my cream, I heard that baby” he said laughing like a psycho

“Stop it…mine”I said pouting

” okay…I’ll leave” he said that loud.

I missed him already he was my companion and he still is and will be.

I wore the things he gave me…I began to wonder how he knew my size. I chuckled at the thought of that. I opened the bathroom door slowly and calmly so that he won’t know that I’m done.

“Jewel, I saw that…” He said giving me a wink

“What the heck” I said shaking me head. I never believe he’ll play like this, to this very extent.

“I’ll help you blow dry your hair love” he said offering he the world’s best smile.

“Thank you thank you” I said jumping like a 5 year old kid. I’ve always wished that my life partner would be so romantic and my hubby is more romantic than I thought.

We went to the closets together and I sat in front of his mirror. I washed him plug the blow dryer. I admired his handsomeness, I smiled with a large grin.

He slowly remove the towel I wrapped round my wet hair, he kept it on the chair there, histouch made me shiver.

“Relax baby…get use to my touch, because nothing is gonna change” he said smirking.

“O.k.a.y” I said counting my words, I felt extremely happy. Its like am having the happy home I’ve always wished for.

The way he blow dried my hair was so unique, the feeling of his fingers in my hair was so nice.

“You hair smells nice” he said as he offed the blow dryer.

“Thank you” I said interlocking my fingers an biting my lower lips. I’m an extremely shy person.

He kept my hair on one side making my back exposed as the gown I wore didn’t really cover up to my neck. I watched him through the mirror as he stared at my back for like a second. His facial expression, I wasn’t able to read it. What’s up with him? Did I do something wrong? I thought interlocking my fingers harder.

He bent down and kissed the cape of my neck.

“You are a gem” he said as he hugged me from the back, so our necks touched each otherI was tensed. I closed my eyes for a bit then opened it. He was starring at me from the mirror.

“I love you very much” he said kissing my cheek.

“I love you too ” I smiled.

“Let’s eat before our food gets cold” he said as he held my hands up.

We ate together in the same plate, he fed me and I fed him too. We talked for a long time. We shared our life experience with each other in cause of eating. He showed me how much he loved me. The time I coughed just a little, he was so concerned he gave me water to drink and he was about calling Arthur. He told me that I’m his

miracle, his life and everything. He assured me that he’ll never leave me. He said even if I reject him, he is never gonna give up on me. He told me that he’ll do anything to make me happy.

I couldn’t stop shedding tears of joy. I promised him that I will always love him too, that I’m willing to go through thick and thin with him. To support him in all he does, he’ll always be my heartcode. I love him when he didn’t care but now he cares I feel something more than just love.

The rest of the day was so fun and fantastic with hubby.
