Season Fina

My mom snatched the paper from my hand while I just stared.

”Where is Cocoa house in Dugbe?” she asked after reading the contents on the paper.

”Its the tallest building in Ibadan” I replied

”I asked where in Dugbe?” She replied angrily

”Uhhm I know where it is” I replied and signalled the nurse that brought us here to come. She came to me with shaking legs.

”How can you just allow anyone to take my dad?” asked with clenched fists. I swear if not because she is a woman I would have punched her.

”No it was the same woman that brought him that took him away” she replied.

Yea I just thought of it, it was Stella that saved him.

”What of The other lady” I asked

”Oh her, we lost her the same day she was rushed to the hospital. She has even been in the morgue since waiting for a relative to bury her” she said then my mom dragged my hand pulling me out of her presence.

”You are wasting time” mom said with a stern look and let go of my hand when we are out if the ward.

We got to the entrance of U.C.H and mom asked me how we get there.

”Which cab do we take from here” she asked ad she as several cabs stopping beside her shouting different destinations.

”No need mom we can fly there” I replied greeting those who were shouting electro boy up and down.

”Wow they know” she asked. I nodded in response and we both charged our hands and legs with electricity which attracted the phones and cameras of passersby to video us. I waved like some superstar and took of with mom following from behind.

It took us just five minutes to get to Dugbe. We landed on the rooftop of the 25 storey building.

”She said we should meet her on the 25th floor” I said and mom nodded. We levelled to the window of the 25th floor and I broke the window with a spark of electricity and we flew in.

It was very dark and quiet.

”Hello anyone here” I shouted glancing around.

”Welcome” a familiar voice echoed through out the room and immediately the light turned on.

Stella came out cat walking out of a room.

” Where is dad? ” I asked immediately sighting her.

She raised up two of her fingers which moved front and back which gestured a guard who pulled a man on a wheel chair. Immediately recognizing the face I shouted” dad” and was about to run to meet him before Stella sent electricity to the tip of my shoe which meant don’t come any closer.

”What do you want” I asked while mom kept staring at how badly dad was injured sitting down on the wheel chair.

”Good question ” another voice made an entry. Mr Andrew walked out with the aid of a walking stick in his left hand and a pistol in his right hand.

”Give me half a billion dollars” he said and brought his slow walking pace to a halt.

”Where do you expect us to get that” my mom asked with a shocked facial expression.

”You should have thought of that before destroying my machine that I spent all my life earnings. Without that machine I am nothing. I don’t know where to start from” Mr Andrew spoke out angrily almost breaking down. Stella went to him and patted him.

” They shall pay for it” she told him and walked towards dad.

” You took what was dear to us and we shall do the same to you ” and wrapped her palms around dad’s bandaged head.

”No please leave him out of this” my mom said amidst tears.

” let’s make this more fun” ”how about we throw him down from the tallest building in Ibadan” she said with an evil smirk

”Yea that sound much fun” Mr Andrew said with a more devilish smirk.

He shot mom’s leg twice before I knew it. Mom fell with a thud to the ground groaning in pains while holding her left leg which was bleeding.

Stella dragged dad from the collar and flew out of the window. She levelled herself to the point where I can see her from. Mr Andrew walked to mom and pointed the gun at Mom’s head

”Who will you save? Your mom that you just met or your dad that raised you up” Stella said. ”I count to three and I will pull the trigger while Stella drops your dad” Mr Andrew said with a grin.

”One…..two….three” and he pulled the trigger and Stella dropped dad……..

The sound of a gunshot was heard and Mr Andrew dropped dead on the ground with a bullet stuck in his skull.

When he was about to pull the trigger I used my mind to control his hand pointing the gun to the side of his head making him shoot himself.

I quickly jumped out of the window aand flew down to get dad. I was about to catch him mid air before Stella blasted me to one of the busy cocoa floors sending me through the walls of the floors. Luckily I used my kinesis to stop dad mid air and swaying in the air. The whole of cocoa house was surrounded by Different cameras from different TV stations recording the so called epic fight. I flew out of the floor and used my index finger to draw dad towards me and flew him to where mom was. I flew back to face Stella who was with red and teary eyes with get hands charged with very large balls of electricity

”You killed my dad, you took all my precious things I will make you pay dearly for this” she said with veins showing on her neck.

”That’s the price you pay for power greed” I said putting my hands at my back relying on my electrical charged legs.

”Aaarrghhhh” she started throwing balks of electricity which I used my mind to change the course if direction. I am not going to move at all in this fight. Its not just worth it. She flew towards me with her clenched fists covered with electricity which I call spark punch. I used my mind and controlled her sending her forcefully to the ground. I flew down immediately and landed with a leg on her chest. She coughed out blood as she ggot the impact of the blow. I wrapped my hands around her neck

”Any last words” I asked

”Yes….” I didn’t allow to finish before I sent high voltage electricity bursting the whole region of her neck with her lungs hanging out of her neck and my whole hands and covered with blood.

Few Weeks Later

”Will you kiss the bride” the priest on the altar said. And dad and mom crashed their lips against each other while our few friends and relatives applauded. Yea they renewed their marriage vows after 17years of being apart.

I started making million of naira as IBEDC and other power supply companies came to me with huge contracts. I supply them enough power and they pay me in return.

This is Nigeria and I am proudly an African. Ready to defend my motherland from any foreign threat.

And I hate the name Electro boy so call me Spark…..
