They showed me the inspector, and we got to talk, he allowed me access to the Commissioner’s office, I looked around and checked, the window had being cut, probably from the outside, cause if it had been from the inside, it would have fallen down to the ground, but the question is how did she get up here? I looked out the window and looked up, she must have used something to climb up, probably grappling hooks used for climbing mountains, I went back in and looked at the safe, what puzzled me was how did she know how to crack open the safe? Something that the Commissioner only knew and besides the safe was a new modern one, not biometric, just a regular safe, My guess is the Commissioner either showed her the combination or she is just an expert safe cracker.

To prove my theory, I need to see the video feeds of the building to know who went in and out of the Commissioner’s office.

I went and asked the inspector for permission to grant me access to their security feeds and he agreed.

I had to watch the videos for hours trying to figure out who was the mysterious lady, just as i was about to give up hope, I noticed something, in fact I saw what I was Hoping to see, it was Cherry’s friend, Bonnie, she came into the place and went into the Commissioner’s office, she must have stayed in there for hours before coming out, after that, I kept watching if there would be any other lady that went into the Commissioner’s office, so far she was the one and only female that went in.

I took a good look at her and the description I got from the police matched perfectly, she was sexy as hell and quite muscular, her muscularity made her look even more sexier and attractive, and if I remember correctly, she had spent time with these three men.

And these same men are here, in this headquarters, all this seemed connected somehow.

This Bonnie lady is the criminal, she has to be because every evidence I have on her seems to be pointing towards her.

But first, I have to speak to her friend, Cherry first.

I woke up, feeling a little pain close to my ribs, there was a bandage around the place, as I sat down, I realized I was in someone’s house, my bag in which I kept the files and my stuff was gone.

I quickly stood up and went out of the room, as I reached the sitting room, I saw a guy sitting on the couch with my bag close to him, he seemed busy with his laptop that he didn’t noticed me, before I could take the next step, he turned around looking at me, he wasn’t alarmed or surprised to see me awake but instead he smiled and asked how I was.

Terry Good morning, I see you’re awake, please have a seat!

Veronica Excuse me, who are you? And who dressed my wound?

Terry My name is terry and I dressed you wound but don’t worry, I didn’t look at your breasts, if that’s what you’re worried about.

Veronica i don’t believe you, hand me my bag and I won’t hurt you!

Terry Relax, you’re safe here! If I wanted to report to the police, I would have…. Here’s your bag.

He threw me my bag and went inside, I took my bag and tried to open the door but it was locked, This bastard must be up to something. He came back with two cups of tea and offered me one! Was this guy okay? Why was he treating me with hospitality?

Terry Here have some tea,

Veronica No thanks, beside why are you doing this? I broke into your house and you did nothing, why didn’t you call the police?

Terry You looked hurt and injured and you don’t look like a thief to me, please I assure you, you’re safe here. Although the police are looking for you. I love the way you outsmarted them, it was clever.

Veronica how did you know?

Terry Isn’t it obvious? You’re wearing a mask and the police headquarters isn’t far from here, plus you have a bullet wound close to your ribs.

This guy may be weird but he’s no fool, I accepted his tea and drank besides I was hungry and thirsty, the tea was quite hot but it tasted good, not many men can make good tea.

I looked at him once again and to be honest, he was quite charming, I felt some kind of attraction towards him, but I didn’t show it to him. After a brief silence, he decided to be a bit curious.

Terry So what’s your name?

Veronica Bonnie.

Terry You’re lying.

Veronica Excuse me? Why did you say that?

Terry Come on, you don’t look like a Bonnie, come on i saved your life, I deserve to know.

Veronica Alright, I’m Veronica.

Terry Veronica…. Hmm its suit you. Nice to meet you Veronica.

Veronica Nice to meet you, terry.

Terry So why did you do it?

Veronica Do what?

Terry Steal the file.

Veronica Please don’t tell me you checked my bag.

Terry No, I didn’t. I swear.

Veronica i did it so, I could put some terrible people away for a long time.

Terry That’s brave, but no one seems to be appreciating your efforts.

Veronica I don’t care…

Terry I think you did it, because to hurt them, and from what I could see, you may have been hurt by someone before. So you do this things to make people pay.

Veronica Why do you care? You’re not my father or therapist.

Terry I know, I just want you to be careful, what you’re doing has to stop, you can’t fight them all.

Veronica I don’t need your advice, open the door I’m going.

Terry Okay sure.

He quickly stood up and went to open the door, but before I could go out, he requested for something else.

Terry Sorry to bother you, but can I have your number?

Veronica Why? First you ask my name now my number.

Terry I really enjoyed your company and I would like us to meet again.

This guy was unbelievable, I didn’t want to give him my number but he had one look on his face that was just so…….. Kai…

I finally gave him my number, and he looked happy, he may be goofy, but he wasn’t such a bad guy either plus he saved my life.
