Don't Mention God To Me - S01 E16

Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 16

January came and still I didn’t hear from Greg and I began to recoil back into my shell in silence and loneliness. I received a letter from Arome informing me that JAMB form was on sale and that he wishes to know if I will be picking one and my preferred institutions but I didn’t reply him.

When I informed Baba about the sale of JAMB form and my intention of picking one, he looked me with a sad face and promised to give me the money which he later did.

I registered my first JAMB and filled in Lagos state University as first choice and Amedu Bello University as the second choice, wrote the exams and made good scores but was denied admission.

Stone got admitted into the University of Nigeria to study Enginery in his first attempt and I felt bad . I stayed home for additional two years hoping to gain admission into any University but it wasn’t coming and I began to get frustrated.

In all these, Baba said nothing as regards my studies but was ever willing to give me money to buy new JAMB form and each time he gave me the money, he looked at me as one running in futility.

I became desperately in need of someone to share my burdens and frustrations with and for the first time after many years, I began to give prayer a second thought.

But couldn’t bring myself to put words together in a sane prayer, the memories of how God failed to answer my prayers when my mom lay dying in the hospital came flashing afresh and I would become stiff.

I remembered Arome and desired to write him a note and tell him to pray for me but couldn’t find whom to send the letter through so I kept the letter under my box.

The letter read thus;

“Dear Arome,

Good to know you are in your third year in the university. I’m yet to gain admission into any of the universities. If your God really answers prayers, help tell him to give me admission.

Your friend

Zion”.

Ojodale came visiting Baba’s house again after their first semester exams and took interest in me. He was one of those baba was sponsoring in the university as spiritual sons and he appeared as a child of God to me.

He had asked to know what I scored in the aptitude test I wrote at Kogi State university and when I told him, he screamed satisfactorily and assured me that they would grant me admission.

So from then, he began to get close to me and myself felt safe around him,at least he was the only person in the house who cared about my studies. He collected my number and began to send me text messages, even though we were staying in the same house.

Some nights, we would chat on Facebook deep into the night and I will sleep off with my phone in my hands. And gradually, we became very intimate to the extent that I became obsessed with my phone and would always come online expecting his chats.

When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I looked out for on my phone was his usual ‘Good morning’ love text messages which do get me sexually aroused and I will reply him.

In the next few weeks, Dale and myself were already deep into each other so much that we were already in the act one evening when we were the only one in the house, except for the elderly man in charge of Baba’s welfare who always maintain his post from the kitchen to his room. How did it happen?

I was in my room chatting with him and our chat got dirty as he began to admire my pink lips and how he wished to kiss them raw. I replied him that I wanted same too and in a second, Dale arrived my room wearing only a white short which revealed his six parks and looking down to his waist, his inner pants were revealing to show the hairs on his abdomen and beyond that I was already seeing the man in him rising so I got out of hand like someone under an influence.

My eyes red, totally lost out of the world I asked him to have sex with me as I jumped on him, placing a violent kiss on his lips and he grabbed me like a hungry lion ready to devour his prey.

We had gone deep in the act, finding it difficult to let go as he unzipped my skirt and flung my top aside… Breathing ravenously and was about to go down on me, we heard a loud knock on my room door and we became frozen instantly…
